Always fresh, cooked to order with large portions. They even sell their awesome teriyaki sauce so you can cook at home! No cut corners You will be back, I promise! read more

Everything is terrible. The rice is like long grain garbage. The cheapest rice possible. Ive been broke before and this is dollar store rice. They havent vacuumed the carpet in months, the egg rolls are frozen, and check out the view. Look at my photo. Thats your view while you wait. No music. Juat dead silence. Piled dishes in bus tubs just filling the air with that old scrappy food smell. Nothing has been wiped down. The salad is cabbage. Thats it. No dressing, no carrot, just green cabbage. I cant even imagine thinking anything about this place is acceptable. What a trainwreck. No music, taped business cards falling off the wall, broken soda machine. Total garbage. Or as the workers there would say "todos basura". read more

Manse Teriyaki - Sit here and enjoy the view. No tv. No music. No hello. Just drano. - Japanese Near Me - Monroe, Washington

A longtime customer returned after 11 years and was disappointed with the changes under new ownership. They felt the teriyaki sauce tasted different, the chicken was dry, and the rice was dry, hard, and not the typical sticky texture they expected. read more

I typically always pick up my food, so this was first time delivery and it made me throw up. Manse has always been good, which sucks because this is the first time the food has done this. read more

Food and service leave a lot to be desired. Called in advance to make sure it was ready and when we arrived they hadn't even started making it. When we finally got it, it was overcooked and dry. We will not be returning. read more

Walked right in up to the counter and was given great service. Be short rate on our friday, but worth it! The food was great. It tasted wonderful, not to mention it Hit this spot! Large portion and fresh made to order! read more

Ordered from Manse Teriyaki on Uber Eats earlier this evening, and could not be more pleased! Food was absolutely delicious, well-priced, and came with a great amount of food. It can be hard to find Yaki Udon at most teriyaki places, so I was really pleased to find this on the menu. I will definitely be returning to Manse Teriyaki! read more

Manse Teriyaki - 9. Yaki Udon, SD Crab Rangoon, SD Gyoza - Japanese Near Me - Monroe, Washington

"Well, that was food." Was in Monroe at a craft fair with a friend when we thought, Teriyaki sounds good, so we stopped in. It was interesting because it was multi-cultural. They had Jarito's soda in the cooler, but no sodas on the fountain. There was minimal interaction between servers and customers. When we got our food, it was ok. It arrived reasonably fast, but the portions were small for the money they charged. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this restaurant unless they work on portion size and fix the soda fountains, and while they are at it, become more customer-friendly. read more

Last 3 times I've been there food has been on point. Teriyaki sauce is quite tasty - a little over priced for a small container in my humble opinion. Restaurant always clean even though I get take out. read more

Wow, I am really glad I found this place. I get a monthly stipend on GrubHub from my employer, and this place was pretty well rated on there. Looking at Yelp, it said they were closed, but they were open on GrubHub so I rolled the dice and ordered. It turns out, they were actually open and it was a great experience. The restaurant is pretty basic - just a bunch of tiny tables, white walls - nothing special. But, maybe they just do most of their business in take out and that's fine. I probably wouldn't eat there, personally - not good vibes. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki - added extra hot sauce and extra teriyaki sauce. The food I got was super piping hot - freshly cooked and packaged in styrofoam and wrapped in a plastic bag, tied at the top, which held in the heat. The extras were like... bigger plastic containers (you can see in my pic - the bigger containers at the top - and the smaller container on top of it - about half the size), and the extras were way more than I needed. It comes with a little side of teriyaki sauce already, and that ended up being enough for me. The spicy sauce was actually pretty darn spicy. Most places... it's like barely spicy - which can be good or bad, right? If it's barely spicy, it's a little more balanced and you get more of the super sweet, sticky teriyaki sauce coming trhough. However, Manse... does spicy... spicier. The main flavors are sweet, but a focus on spicy heat and vinegar - almost maybe like a fermented hot sauce. It's really good - again, just different (maybe unusual? I don't know - haven't been to THAT MANY teriyaki places to be an expert or something). read more

Manse Teriyaki - Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. Comes with a little cup of teriyaki sauce. Got extra teriyaki and hot sauce (was unnecessary, imo) - Japanese Near Me - Monroe, Washington

One of my favorite teriyaki spots in Monroe, but not the best. I say portions are fair for the price. If you are wanting teriyaki in Monroe I would recommend this place. read more

Time to redecorate guys! I've loved this place for over 20 years, but it's getting stale inside now, time to freshen up... (And my daughter says ("the tables are always sticky") Save your business, show some love to your customers by redecorating and making us a place that we can come and sit down and eat now! read more

Had high hopes for this little teriyaki joint. Three stars is "A-OK" in Yelp parlance, and that's what this place is. Okay. Small shop. And small staff (family?) that has a hard time keeping up with things like busing tables. When I was there, only two of the ten tables were clean and available. Dirty dishes remained on the others. Once there was a lull, the man from behind the counter finally cleaned the tables. The food is also just okay. Teriyaki is very salty. In fact, salt is about the only taste. Spicy sauce is better. Potstickers were good. They charge extra for brown rice, but at least they have it. I'd stop here again only if in the mood for teriyaki and I was nearby. I certainly would not seek it out. read more

I had the chicken teriyaki and pot stickers delivered to my hotel after a long day. I did an online order using door dash. My order was accepted right away and my food delivered earlier than their anticipated time line. Everything was cooked well. The pot stickers were crisp and the dipping sauce had a nice flavor. Typically I dont care for the sauce most restaurants use and I use plain soy sauce, but this had a nice mild flavor. Same for the Teriyaki sauce, it was a nicely balanced flavor and I like that it was served on the side and not smothered on the chicken. I didn't expect the shredded cabbage to have any salad dressing, I don't know what they used but it was really flavorful. When I'm. Back in Monroe, I would eat there again. read more

Have come here since 2008 when we moved here. Good people. Good food. No complaints ever

40 minutes for bad food. Grisly beef, no salad with the combo despite it having salad in the picture. Unfriendly staff. Do not recommend.

Chicken was dry, rice seem old and too dry, and the cabbage salad was floating in mayonnaise water. I use to really like the place, but the lobby seems to get dirtier and dirtier and the prices go higher and higher. Just too many other options in town to over pay for below average. I hope it turns around for the better. read more

Very poor food quality. Stale/overcooked rice, mushy tempura, dry salad. Will not go here again.

This place rocks! I saw the big teriyaki sign so I thought I would go try it out. The interior of the restaurant can definitely use some love (typical mom&pop Asian cuisine in a strip mall vibe), but the food was great and the portions more than fair. I got the spicy teriyaki chicken & pork combo and it was great! If I were to make one critique, I would say maybe a little too much sauce. I definitely didn't need the extra sauce I took, but that's just my personal preference. Speaking of sauce, they make their own Sambal sauce and it's insanely delicious. read more

We discovered this place on our way to Leavenworth! Wanted a quick stop off on our way up the mountain. Found this hidden teriyaki place (gotta love yelp!) We stopped for a quick bite! I asked for regular chicken breast teriyaki and a side of their spicy sauce. That part was disappointing. It was like a paste. Yuck. Didn't like that at all!! My husband got the spicy chicken teriyaki. That was good! Now I know for the next time, I just get the spicy instead of the side of the sauce. Much better cooked in; that's for sure! Dinner and a drink was under $20. Good price, quick eats! We've gone 2x now on our way through town. Next time I'm just gonna get the spicy teriyaki! Their teriyaki sauce is good too, not too sweet, and not over powering. read more

The super teriyaki combo deserves 4 stars. Teriyaki chicken with onions and a hefty portion. The salad dressing is good too. Not a Fam of the chopped cabbage that to comes with combos. Not a fan of the fried rice. It should be called butter rice with vegetables in it. Fried rice is supposed to be brown from soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and full of flavor. Skip the fried rice for sure. Reg teriyaki is ok. Thin chicken with crispy ends. Teriyaki sauce is decent. Pretty sweet. Long story short...super combo every time or nothing for me. read more

One teriyaki and one Katsu. $12.99 and $15.99. Ridiculously high prices. But then she rings up $13.00 and $16.00. Just two cents, but really? I asked why and got a blank stare and no reply. I also asked for and was charged for extra teriyaki sauce 70 cents. But when I got home it wasn't in the bag. So 72 cents overcharged. The Katsu was awful. Overcooked! Yuk. We got no teriyaki sauce and no soy sauce in my wife's order. And why don't we automatically get chop sticks in the bag? Will look for better experience elsewhere next time. read more

This is my favorite teriyaki in the Monroe area. Positives: portion size, brown rice or veggie option (for a fee), yummy sauce, and they're FAST. I don't love the salad dressing, but that's a taste issue. Wish I could give 4.5 stars... I appreciate that they offer cabbage in the salad instead of lame wilted iceberg lettuce as a head nod to "salad." I pick this place every time our family craves teriyaki. read more

I usually go to the Teriyaki restaurant near Fred Meyer but they were closed. This location was disappointing at best. The teriyaki sauce doesn't really taste like teriyaki. Too salty and sweet and I couldn't taste ginger. The teriyaki portion was small and made to look big by putting it on top of rice. The meat was overcooked and tough. The yakisoba noodles were overcooked and kinda gummy. The fried rice was made with frozen vegetables. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but due to the high prices I won't be returning. read more

I really like it, but of the three times I've tried it, once they gave me someone else's meal and I didn't notice until I got home.

This is our favorite Teriyaki spot between Snohomish and Monroe! Very friendly and the food is soo good!

This is a typical, setup, of any teriyaki place, I've ever been to. Not a fancy restaurant, but that's not what it is. What I do get, is the best teriyaki beef. The salad, that comes with it, is so good, with a dressing they make and sell to go. I've ordered a few other items on the menu, and never have I been disappointed. read more

I have no idea what the person below me is thinking?? Apparently she has no idea what good food is. Or she was paid to leave positive feedback. This is the worst teriyaki place in the state. And I grew up on an island so I know what good food is. Located this dump in a local Monroe shopping mall. We were hungry and heavens "NO I will not eat Subway!!". So I talked Jeff in coming here. I ordered the Yakisoba Chicken. My buddy had the Teriyaki Chicken and gyozas plate. The Yakisoba was instant Ramen mixed with Cabbage, Carrots, and so little meat. You thought it was vegetarian Gyozas were store bought frozen and fried in a pan. When you bit into them they still contained ice. I gave it all to Jeff. Chicken plate consisted of 2 chicken thighs, shredded cabbage salad. After that my buddy was still hungry. Serving was tiny. They bottle up the commercial teriyaki sauce and Srichachahot sauce into small jars for $5. You find these at gallon containers in COSTCO. The funny thing is people actually buy them off the counter. Go to COSTCO people it only cost $10. They corner the market in Monroe because there is no other Teriyaki Place in the area. If the residents ever leave that neck of the woods they would find better places. But if thats your world then you believe its the best. Like I mentioned Avoid like the plague. Save your money and go else where .. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here! How does this place have good reviews!? O.o Chicken teriyaki was dry, BURNT and way too salty. Completely INEDIBLE! Beef teriyaki was too salty as well...The coleslaw dressing is straight mayonnaise. Chicken Yakisoba had NO flavor whatsoever...was drenched in oil...Chicken, noodles, vegetables all BURNT! Use to love this place But the last few times we have gone it was completely inedible :( Have no idea why we even went back. Will not waste money here again!!! read more

This is my favorite teriyaki place and not just in Monroe. Friendly staff. Clean. Good value. Wide selection. The thick Teri. sauce is fantastic and so is the crushed chili sauce. It's on every table and there is a reason you don't see other places selling their sauces by the jar. I favor the beef and pork combo but the other items are good as well. Look there are hundreds of teriyaki places with very similar menus. It's the little things that set this place apart. read more

I used to love coming here. The owners were kind and knew my family. It had been a while so my husband and I ordered to go. Only to find a hair in my food. We drove back to see if he could give us a refund and he refused. We even showed him the hair. Absolutely dumb business practice to not take the $13 loss and have the customer leave happy, then to refuse them and have them never come back. Which is exactly what we plan on doing. read more

I always get the chicken teriyaki here. Sooo good. It's always fresh so it takes a few minutes for them to cook it, but that is totally fine. Of course they have Sriracha sauce and extra teriyaki sauce on the tables. The gyoza is also phenomenal. Fried perfectly crispy. Definitely get some on the side. read more

Definitely NOT great food.. the tempura batter is way too thick and tasteless. I found the tempura pieces to be too large, they should have cut the veggies better. The tempura, spring rolls, and beef teriyaki were all over cooked and tasted burnt. The spring rolls tasted burnt and had a funny aftertaste like the oil was old. The beef teriyaki tasted burnt and like a weird unclean after taste.. like the grill was dirty and charred. I only ate a few bites and tried everything.. I didn't like ANY of it I gave two stars because the salad (just shredded iceberg) dressing was good, and the portions were large. I won't be going back read more
