Came here twice after snowboarding at Steven's Pass. Really love this family restaurant with super friendly service and good food.

We had such a great first experience here. Thankful for the waitress who was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I am glad this spot is in our stomping grounds because we no longer have to travel far for a place with great sides that tastes authentic. We went during the day and it was sunny out. The resturant was well lit and clean too. We have lived in this area over 10 yrs and there's not a lot of great places around here to eat. Happy that there's another good one added to our area.

At long last Monroe finally has its incredible Korean barbecue restaurant! I had anticipated the opening of this restaurant for many months and I'm so glad it has arrived. I had the opportunity to receive exceptional service from Joseph and was impressed with the quality of the design of the place. I ordered the LA Galbi and was blown away by the freshness and quality of the meat. The side dishes or Banchan was top notch as well as the salad with dressing that comes with it. Highly recommend and look forward to experiencing the tabletop service next time.

Combo Bulgogi and soon, both with Spicey Pork

Blazin K-BBQ, a brand new Korean restaurant, rivals the best Korean restaurants in the Seattle area. The husband (see pic) and wife team came out of retirement to reopen in Monroe in the center of town along the freeway (Hwy-2). The ban-chan sides that come with meals are top quality and generous portions. I ordered the Spicy-Pork Bulgogi with Kimchee Soon (soup) as my main entrée. The meal was absolutely delicious and totally authentic Korean fare! Again, portion size was huge--I had to take half of my meal home for the next day! Based on quality and affordability, this is clearly a 5-star Korean restaurant! Only 107 miles from Wenatchee WA, "Blazin K" is the "must stop" choice for western bound travelers in Washington state.

Monroe gets a beautiful Korean BBQ spot. Wow! This is excellent news. It's not a huge space, but it is comfortable, clean, well-designed, and beautiful. The service is okay. At times, it can be inattentive and distracted, and it can be hard to get follow-up service for extended periods of time. They also forgot to bring scissors and turned our burner too high for the initial cooking temperature. They just opened, so I think they still have some kinks to work out here. The food was good. Prices are reasonable, but there is no "all you can eat" option, meaning you can take leftovers home. The combos are the best price deals if you want maximum quantity for your money. The banchan (side dishes) for the BBQ are relatively few (as is typical at most Korean BBQ places now), but all were superb. Banchans do have "all you can eat" refills--just ask. That goes for all banchans except for the corn cheese that you cook. You can cook the meat at the table (do it) or have the kitchen cook for you and your cooked meat brought to you (where's the fun?). Outside of BBQ meat, they also have many other dishes on the menu. I uploaded photos of the seven-page menu. Looking forward to many return visits to explore more of the menu. It all looks great.

I lived in Korea for two years. I love Korean food, especially Korean BBQ. I saw this was in Monroe which avoids a lot of traffic and parking issues we have, so decided to give it a try. It is a small restaurant. There are not too many seats, but there are around 12 tables, and not all of them are set up for BBQ, which is fine. We ordered calamari, fried chicken, Combo C with pork belly, Yukajong, and soft tofu soup. The calamari was absolutely delicious. It was crispy and flavorful. It was served with sirarcha mayo. The fried chicken was the same. The flavor was great. It hit perfectly with the right amount of saltiness and umami. Combo C has brisket, bulgogi, steak, pork belly, and chuck steak. Everything was fresh and well-presented. As per usual, it came with banchan (side dishes). I feel a Korean restaurant can live or die by its banchan. Fish cake was a hit. My family loves a good fishcake. It can be chewy sometimes, but the bite on this was perfect. The kimchi was fresh and made in-house. It wasn't overly sweet but it was made for people who don't like things to be too spicy. It needed a bit more heat. The other banchan included seaweed salad, pickled radish, and bean sprout. All were very good. My biggest complaint was the sauces. I love the salt and pepper sesame oil. The one they served was terrible. There wasn't enough salt or pepper. The other two included some sour vinegar sauce and something like a chili oil. None of them had any flavor. This is why I can't give it a 5. We brought the soups home and haven't eaten them as of this writing. Service was great. Our glasses were always full and people were really nice. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but they were fancy with LED-lit mirrors and black sinks and toilets. We will be back

Extremely fatty kalbi

We ordered a combo with Kalbi and the amount of fat on this was crazy. With little bits of actual meat, I don't think we got what we paid for since Kalbi isn't cheap. The rest of the food was mediocre and the fish was really dry.

Really enjoyed our k-bbq experience today! For an asian establishment, the ambiance stood out with its squeaky clean and tastefully done interior and lots of booth seating with polished grill tops. The servers were super kind and friendly. One offered to switch out our old grill top halfway through which was a nice touch. You get the option to cook it yourself or have the kitchen do it for you. Do not go for the latter!! There's nothing better than cooking a small amount at a time yourself so each bite is super sizzling hot! Dip it in some sauce and you're in heaven! Oh and it's fun to cook food as you go. The aroma of meat sizzling away as you talk about how your day went is truly splendid! For 2 of us , the $120 combo B with like five different kinds of meats was a lot but we ain't hating it. Our fav is the pork belly, brisket, and beef bulgogi. The marinated meats are intensely flavorful so with some rice and kimchi, it just goes so well together. My hubby really liked the corn and cheese side that came with the meal in a tin and you cook that on the grill and it comes out gooey. Like the other yelpers, the banchan has room for improvement. Instead of the bowl of bland salad, I was hoping they put out lettuce leaves so we could use that as a vehicle to hold the meat. I will ask for that next time. Overall, very pleased and looking forward to more of the same! Also, excited they have a plethora of other menu offerings like Korean fried chicken, bi-bim bap, tofu soup, seafood pancakes.. all of what you'd expect at a Korean place. I am still over the moon about a K-bbq in Monroe! And it way exceeded our expectations!

Sides that came with the entrees

Food 5/5: The food was amazing, it came out in a timely manner and it was hot and fresh. And for the price of the food, the portions were perfect. And we even had some leftovers. Service 5/5: The waitress refilled our waters frequently and was nice. Ambiance 5/5: The music wasn't too loud and the decor was nice.

Spicy beef soup, nice touch that they separate the noodles from the broth so it's not soggy

Amazing portion for the price. Staff was attentive and food was delicious. I only wish they had jalapeños and garlic as a side.

We ordered the $35 clam orzo and the $54 New York steak medium rare. The New York comes with no sides. $54 is the price for the steak on its own. They don't have a menu of sides and we weren't asked if we wanted any sides with it. The "New York" that we got was literally just a chunk of fat with maybe 5 bites of meat on it. It was literally cold and still blue, so rare. It had barely been put onto the grill. The flavor was bland, like a cheap steak you'd get at buzz in. Definitely not a $50+ steak and was not cooked appropriately. The clam orzo looked promising. Huge portion and smelled delicious, but I took one bite and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. Literally tasted like the salt container fell in it. They did end up refunding us for the steak and the orzo. We paid for our drinks, the calamari and left hungry. Still ended up paying $50 (plus a $10 tip for our nice waitress) for an appetizer, two bottled IPA's and one rum cocktail. Also worth mentioning that the tables are very close together. It felt like we were eating with the strangers next to us. Our seat on one side was a shared bench with other guests and it was very loud, not a problem unless you want to have a semi private conversation. So disappointing after waiting years for a toddler free night to visit this restaurant.. I'm not sure that we will be back. If we do, we will likely visit for the bar and appetizers.

We ended up leaving earlier than we probably would have wanted just cause our baby decided it was time for us to leave. Since we had a baby I'm definitely more aware of how noisy places are that we go to and this is definitely the loudest place of all the places we go. Which looking around there is nothing to absorb the sound. So if you want a quiet setting this is not the place for you. We each had 2 drinks and we had the cornbread as an appetizer and we both got the burger and fries. My main complaint is our fries came out lukewarm, like they had been sitting a long time. Boooooo. Drinks were good as always. Service wasn't bad wasn't great. Our first time here (years ago) was outstanding and now it just feels ok, I'm not sure that we will continue to come here as often as we have. I'm sure we will give it a shot again someday.

Not only was it a good deal, but the quality of food was good. The teriyaki chicken was cook nicely and the sauce was well made and sweet. The Cali rolls were very fresh! They had a sweet and sour sauce for the sides which I loved. The service was good! Employees were nice and the food didn't take long to make. They also offer complimentary egg drop soups! The ambiance is decent. Not the most decorated place, but it's at least clean and organized. Highly recommend coming here!!!!

A typical Washington state teriyaki/Japanese/Korean/Chinese fusion restaurant where you come up to…read morethe counter and order and then seat yourself afterwards. I think the people who own this place or at least the people who operate this place are Korean. Prices are nothing crazy. Typical of Washington state prices. I ordered a bento box that came with protein-of-choice, four california rolls, salad, vegetable tempura, eggroll. They also had complimentary egg drop soup available at the time I want for about $25. Everything was OK, but I was not a big fan of the egg roll. The beef teriyaki I ordered was a little too salty, but not terrible compared to other places I've been to. Overall, this place is not too bad. Service is straightforward. Ambiance was a bit cluttered and unkempt but not bad, like I said
