Not only they do prepare a big variety of Chinese food but also add Mexican menu to their already large one. The food is delivered warm and fast, but like with most takeout it's also not so consistent. We still like it and our favorite is dumplings, wanton soup chicken and broccoli and burrito. Review is for the Chinese kitchen only--have no idea if the Tex-Mex part of the restaurant is as bad as the Chinese. For a start the Lo Min was so drenched in oil that you could probably use it to deep fry. I also ordered chicken with cashew nuts. The vegetables were almost raw-not crunchy, raw. The chicken was coated with something that I could not detect, possibly a flour coating. There was very little sauce. But the most glaring problem was that the chef substituted the cashews with PEANUTS. All of you peanut allergy sufferers beware, have your epi pens ready cause who knows what else the chef might decide to replace and with what. I've never had the Mexican food from here, only the Chinese food. Before I talk about the food, I just want to emphasize that the people who work there are EXTREMELY nice and really just make my experience more positive. They seem genuinely thankful to each and every customer and they always serve with a smile! They are fast with the food, very hardworking, and super kind. Now onto the food. I'm a fan of the crispy cheese wontons. It comes with a lot of them, like 10 or 12 and there is a nice amount of filling which is sweet and creamy. They are super crunchy on the outside and come with a sweet and sour sauce. I've also had the shrimp with walnut and was really happy with it! The shrimp were so so crispy, large, and there was really a generous portion of shrimp in there. I like the freshness that the lettuce added, and the price was good too. I wish the sugar was like caramelized onto the walnuts though. The sauce was also good. My lunch special experience was less positive. I got the shrimp with broccoli lunch special which was supposed to have jumbo shrimp. The shrimp didn't look very jumbo to me and there were unfortunately only 4 of them. This is a staple takeout place at the office. My coworkers order from here every week. My go to item is always the grilled chicken tosada salad, with Russian dressing and sour cream on the side. Its delivered in a white box and once you open it, you'll see the tortilla shaped like a salad bowl with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It fills your apetite for lunch thats for sure. If I could provide zero stars, I would. They delivered an oil soaked shrimp quesadilla to my residence that had so much grease, the quesadilla's breading was soaked through and brown in color toward the center. Upon taking one bite, I knew there was something off with the taste so I proceeded to open up the quesadilla & view it's contents. The shrimps were totally brown in color as well as soaked in brown cooking oil that tasted of fried foods (the shrimp should be grilled and pink in color for the most part). There were also brown bits of fryer droppings in my quesadilla. If you're only interested in being stuffed then this is the place for you. It's my first time trying Chinese-Mexican food (Tex Mex). The food was definitely plenty but the flavor was lacking! I ended up ordering a special burrito with chicken and beef and the hot and sour soup. Burrito was gigantic; however, the beans were beyond bland and chicken and beef were a little chewy and lacking taste to the point I only ate half of it because it was so bad. The hot and sour soup was average at best. You're better off eating at a Mexican joint that's made by actual Mexican people than a Chinese corner takeout spot disguised as A Mexican restaurant. I definitely won't be coming back and will stick with either Mexican restaurants or food trucks for my Mexican food from here on out. read more

Where else can you get a lunch special past lunch time? I mean honestly! You can add more to your lunch special if you wanted as well. Like for example, I would normally order Beef with mixed vegetables with CHICKEN fried rice (not just plain fried rice), plus a can of soda. For 50 cents more you can have your choice of soup. The Chinese food according to the owner is not taxed but the Mexican/American food is. I'm not so sure if she changed the rules or not but it's defiantly worth it if you just want something quick and tasty. read more

I thought I hit on a good take-out chinese restaurant, but this place is hit or miss. As an example: their Hot & Sour Soup was pretty good originally, because they made it fresh. Now they prepare a whole bucket of this soup and spoon it out into a container. This soup is NOT fresh, and is thin and watery. On top of this, I brought the remaining container back to them.....just to show them what I meant. So instead of an apology, and replacing it, they insisted on charging me for the replacement. So, I just ordered a cheeseburger deluxe and a grilled chicken sandwich. I opened the chicken sandwich because it did NOT look anything like chicken. I called them back to tell them I received the wrong thing and that grilled chicken is supposed to be a white breast and not a brown and pink glob of fat. I decided to finally order from here for the first time, to try it out. I had a craving for some jalapeno poppers and found out that they make them. So I got an order of those and a couple other dishes to try out: Super Fajitas entree, and the White Meat Chicken Fajita with cheese. The delivery came decently quick; within a half-hour I believe. Everything I ordered made it to me all good. The jalapeno poppers tasted pretty good, but were somewhat greasy and had an absolute lack of spice. Seriously, these were the mildest jalapenos I have ever eaten. I don't eat all habanero-infused food or something... I just like food to be spicy sometimes, and with jalapeno poppers, I expected them to have some kind of spice. I think perhaps their mistake is that they use jarred, non-fresh jalapenos for this dish. Overall, the taste was good, but could have used a lot more spicyness. The Super Fajitas entree was good. I stuffed some tortilla shells with the meat, cheese, and rice included (there was also a tiny bit of black beans), and poured some included sour cream and salsa sauce on top. I call it a salsa "sauce" because it was barely chunky at all. The salsa sauce, like the jalapeno poppers, was seriously missing any kind of spicyness. It just tasted like the mildest salsa ever. The included little cup of guacamole was kind of alright, but was nothing special at all. Overall this dish was good, but again, could have used some spice. Also, it could have used one or two more tortilla shells included. The White Meat Chicken Fajita with cheese was horrible. The chicken itself was cooked to death and still greasy. Extremely dry, very hard strips of chicken. After taking a few bytes, I just threw away the chicken and used this dish's tortilla shell for the Super Fajitas filling. In conclusion, this restaurant is in no way "Gourmet". It's got a LOT of work to do before it gets even close to that level of food quality. However, I would order from here again the next time I get a mexican food craving. I would skip any chicken entirely and would keep in mind that anything and everything I get will be severely under-spiced. read more
