Our experience was great. They surprised us by being able to move on a short notice and worked with us regarding times and moving and removing items. I was particularly pleased with the care they took of our furniture and house. No scuffs, scratches, or oops. They were personable also. I'd use them again. read more

If you want your things padded/protected, don't use C&L. We asked MULTIPLE times for them to pad our items. The lady over the phone said exactly that, that they would take care to wrap our furniture in padding. But they didn't, even when we asked 5+ times in person on the day of. I warned them about a very special painting in particular. I said, Could you please pad it? If you think it might be jostled at all, then just let me know, and I can take it myself. And I said that in a friendly tone; I would've legitimately just moved it myself because it cost me a lot of money for that frame/painting. But they reassured me it would be fine, even cracked a few jokes. When I saw them loading it into the truck by itself, without a covering, they reassured me again, said it would be fine because we wouldn't be driving far, that the painting was snug, and that it would be alright. SURPRISE... the painting got scuffed. On top of that my bed had tons of pieces that fell off/came apart on the truck ride over because somehow they had jostled it really badly, to the degree that bed parts broke through the screws. So good luck fixing that. If it was just the bed itself, I'd be whatever. I understand some damage comes with moves. If they had padded my painting and it still gotten scuffed, I'd be more understanding. But the fact that the woman on the phone said everything would get padded, that my roommate and I asked literally 5+ times in person and they just shrugged it off, and an extremely expensive, sentimental piece of mine got damaged in the process because of their carelessness pisses me off. The painting was hand painted on silk from Indonesia and had to have a custom built frame. You can't replace that. read more

Simply amazing!! I won't be able to say enough to show how great this company is or how appreciative I am. I had a terrible experience with movers in the past- so I was skeptical from the start. First of all Sharron in the office is always available and makes the process smooth. Second but definitely not least Chris and his team were prompt and prepared. They didn't waste anytime getting started and never stopped until the job was done. They took care of my belongings like they would their own. They wrapped and protected everything then unwrapped it all at my new place. Thirdly!!!! I also hired them to do the move out clean. And again.... absolutely amazing job. They even took plant hangers off the wall and took the trash to the dumpster. Let me also say- my bad experience in the past costed me almost 4x what I paid this time!! And I have MORE things now. It's so refreshing to find decent, honest hard working people. Thank you all at C&L movers. I will send praises your way whenever I can! read more

Reasonably priced. Excellent communication. Reliable & efficient. Sharon and her team made our move stress-free! Would definitely recommend and use their services again. read more

Sharon, Chris and Drake are a joy to work with. Sharon was able to fit my move in even though I called the same week. They are reasonably priced and lower than other movers. My favorite parts are that they handled all of belongings with care, were extremely friendly, and were quick. We were able to move everything in my 10X20 storage into my Penske truck in less than two hours which allowed me to get on the road back to Utah at 9:30 a.m. I'll definitely be sending my friends and family to them. read more

Chris and the team were incredibly professional and fast! They were incredibly helpful and arrived on time, ready to go. This is my 3rd move in this city and was by far the easiest one. Thank you! read more

Chris and Sharon are very professional and easy to work with. The crew of guys that moved my things were all really nice and did a great job. I will say that the dude that supposedly put my bed together did it completely wrong and I had to redo it, so maybe put him elsewhere! Otherwise I would definitely use these folks again. read more

Great guys and a great move experience! They went above and beyond and took the hassle out of a stressful move making it look easy. I was so surprised when 15 min went by and they had made an incredible impact. Another bonus was their impeccable manners: kind, courteous, respectful, joyful, and yes ma'am after everything. Thanks again! read more

Sharon and Chris are terrific! Respectful and professional, these top performers are awesome. Reliable and dependable, I have used them on numerous occasions and will tell you they want to help--regardless what day or how small or large a job! They will move and pack whatever you need as if it was their own. read more

Excellent service with excellent employees. I couldn't be happier with the services they provided and would highly recommend using them

I loved this team! Scheduling was casual and easy (no long list of "to dos" and no complicated billing schemes.) The movers themselves were kind, personable and crazy fast while still keeping all of my things safe and secure. Not one thing was broken, chipped, or dented. This was the fastest AND least expensive move I've ever done- and I even had two pick up stops! I emphatically recommend them if you're looking for great service, prices, and people to support you on your move. read more

Great communication from Sharon at the front office. The movers themselves were very helpful and professional. I had them put together some furniture I'd ordered and was worried that since they charged by the hour that they'd take their time about it. On the contrary, they were incredibly quick and worked great together as a team. They even took all the trash out with them when they left! I will definitely be using them for my next move. My highest recommendations. read more

Simply the BEST moving experience ever! Joshua with C&L Movers called to say when he was arriving at my office, carefully wrapped and moved everything and then placed all of my things into my new office with ease and professionalism. He was respectful of both me, my things and my time. C&L has had excellent communication throughout this process, quick response time, competitive rates and really "delivered" all around on customer service. Now I know who my go-to movers will be! read more

C&L movers are fantastic!!!! They did multiple things for us to help us with our ever changing and unpredictable move. They helped us disassemble our furniture, pack our PODs, disassemble/move/reassemble our swing set on a separate day, and unload our PODs. They were extremely flexible & accommodating to reschedule many times due to our builder delays. Happy to say nothing was broken - they were very careful with our belongings! As for individuals: Sharon put us at ease through our stressful moving period! She is easy to get ahold of for schedules and questions. Chris is very professional, easy going, and friendly! One of the movers, Kane, was also super friendly and a very hard worker for all parts of our move! Hopefully not moving for a long time but for sure will be calling them again if we need anything in the realm of moving! :) read more

I had Jeff and Brian helped me with my moves. These guys are great and pretty effective for me, since I also wanted to keep moving costs low (I don't have a lot of stuff to move to begin with). read more

We were in a frantic rush to move out of our house in a week -- we were so disorganized when they got to our house to start moving us out but they just rolled with the punches! These guys are hard working, dependable, very polite and moved our stuff with care. It even started raining really hard while they were moving our stuff into the truck but while we were waiting for it to pass, they started helping however they could and taped up boxes and took my daughter's bunk bed apart. I highly recommend their services -- and you can't beat their competitive prices! We will definitely use them again for our next move when the time comes! read more

Absolutely wonderful! They did my small one bedroom apartment efficiently and everything was handled with care! They even got rid of an old broken computer I wasn't sure how to safely get rid of! I would greatly recommend them and they do other services as well (yard and tax help). Everything was moved in 2 hours. They did arrive a little late but that's understandable since moving can present unexpected obstacles. read more

Sharon and her crew are the best movers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. We had to move my Grandmother back to her home from a nursing home and they gave us not only the best price, but the best service! Chris and his assistant packed up her things and moved them to Houston efficiently and gently! They were kind and courteous. Sharon kept me informed of their status the whole way through. I would highly recommend C&L Movers for their willingness to help, their kindness, and their great prices. read more

What a great bunch of guys! They all have such great attitudes, even in the rain. I am so happy to have selected C&L for my move. They have been very professional, wrapping everything up, cautious with the large pieces and the walls, and I think they especially liked my mannequins. read more

I cannot recommend C & L Movers more highly! I had an immense job of cleaning out 11 packed warehouse units in Austin, TX and I live in FL. C & L Movers were recommended by the warehouse company and I couldn't be more grateful they were. Sharon arranged everything long-distance with me in preparation for our arrive to go through the units. Chris met me at the facility exactly as scheduled and professionally reviewed everything with me. He and his crew then worked right behind me to move and dispose of the contents. Sharon kept the facility and me up-to-the-minute as each unit was cleared. This was a huge undertaking and C & L Movers were able to give me a set price, arrived as preciously as planned, and worked to a deadline to move a tremendous amount of items. I am still in awe of their professionalism, kindness and efficiency. read more

C&L Movers has been a relief in our moving process. We've had some disaster clients so far and it was nice to know we could trust them with our belongings. They have a wonderful sense of humor even with the hard work and kept it respectful the whole move. They were fast and careful with everything we own. We're totally using them for our next move. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to move! read more

We had some water damage to our Westlake home that necessitated the refinishing of our entire downstairs hardwood floors, so we looked for a moving company with pods to store our furniture in a climate controlled setting for a few weeks. We couldn't find a company with great reviews that also had pods, so, because of their fabulous reviews, we called Sharon at C&L Movers and asked if she could partner with Mi-Box, a pod-type climate controlled storage company with strong reviews, to make our move work. Sharon, Chris and their wonderful crews did a great job coordinating and completing both the move out and the move in. They were super careful with our fine furniture and had great attitudes about everything, including being flexible about the timing of our move back in based on when the floors were ready. They also wrapped and padded everything very well. The only suggestions I would make are to put large rugs in the very front of the box or truck so you don't have to unload the furniture outside to get to the rugs, which do need to go down first. (Thankfully it wasn't raining, but if it had been I'm sure they would have found a way to keep it dry inside.) Also, label the rugs as to which room they came from since two of ours are very similar and we couldn't tell them apart until unrolling them. This is a fantastic company and we are so grateful for their excellent work. We would call them again in a heartbeat for any future moving needs. Thank you so much, Sharon and Chris! You're the best! read more

Will NOT be using again. I have used this moving company twice in the last 3 years. The first time they provided excellent service and it was a lot more affordable than most of the other moving companies. I then used them a second time because of my experience with them previously. The second time was significantly different and I will not be using them again. They increased their hourly price by about 20% from the first time unbeknownst to me until they day they showed up at my apartment to start moving. That was an unfortunate surprise. I started to help the movers for about 30 minutes picking up furniture and such and putting it into the truck. The foreman then told me that the job would not take more than 2 hours so that if in the off chance it went more than two hours I would only get charged for 2 hours. We made that agreement. I think he gave that initial offer because 1) I had used them before and 2) the job shouldn't have taken more than 2 hours. Ultimately, the movers had some issues with my bed among other things and the job took almost 3 hours long. At the very end of the move the foreman had the audacity to charge me the full 3 hours despite our previous agreement. I couldn't believe that's how they do business to a repeat customer. In summary, I will NOT be going back to them. Not only did they take an hour longer than expected but they also charged me significantly more than expected. read more
