    Traditional Guangdong clay pot place -- delicious fast food choice. Convenient location inside Cupertino village. Clean and neat table and bench seatings. Like those posters around the walls, really tempting photos. The food served right after ordering. The food is very kids friendly, good texture rice, well seasoned toppings and house made special sauce. Kids like it so much and they feed themselves:). Extra points to the waitress on filling water fast and waited and returned the credit card that I lost in her restaurant. Recommended for clay pot and soup lovers.

    BZZ serves Chinese prepared clay pot rice and the quality is decent. The restaurant is very small and cozy, their decor is in a standard Chinese quick diner style that is very common in Chinese these days and I am not a fan of. Food are ordered using smart phone to scan a QR code, the selections are all very similar. This place is good for a quick lunch while don't expect any dishes that are particularly delicious.

    Came in on Saturday night and there was a bit of a wait. It's located in the very busy Cupertino Village, so makes sense that Saturday night would be a popular time to visit. The restaurant was bright, clean, and modern. We ordered the classic signature lap mei rice clay pot, the salted fish and eggplant rice clay pot, and a side of Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce. The clay pots were both delicious, comforting, and nostalgic. Once you add the soy sauce and some chili oil on top, it's truly chef's kiss. I actually ended up liking the eggplant pot more since I think the eggplant was probably fried, so the rice really soaked up the oil in the pot and made things super flavorful and glossy. The Chinese broccoli was standard and a way to get our veggies in for the meal. Overall satisfied with the meal and would definitely recommend!

    Second visit and even my American stomach kid approved. The wait in weekend is getting long, so try to avoid the rush hours. They have a paper and pen sign up system but their tables are mostly for 2-4 seaters, which makes accommodating large parties difficult. I see a lot of people doing take out and it may be worth trying that next time. The only benefit of eating in the store is they have these drink and clay pot sets, but this time when we came they were all sold out. Sad. We tried the signature sausage and cured meat clay pot rice. As always, the soul of a clay pot rice is the added soy sauce. I think their soy sauce is ok, not wow, but does the job. The sausages are flavorful and they are generous in portions. The special spare ribs are premarinated and flavorful. Each clay pot comes with 3 pieces of veggie, if it's not enough, you can add a side for 3 bucks which is good value. The restaurant is doing a promotion that if you prepay a minimum of $300, they give you an extra $50 on the account. You can use it in 3 restaurants and anything can be applied to it including tax and tips. You just need to place the order directly with the restaurants including Ming's and Local Cafe, DoorDash/Uber Eat etc apps are excluded. Service is fine, you can freely ask them questions and they are quite attentive to customers.

    I ordered takeout and I thought it was so whimsical that they give a whole clay pot even for take out! The food itself is good, but nothing extremely debut worthy--just some homey Chinese food! I ordered the special #1 clay pot with the chinese sausage and pork slices, and it was good! Will come again to try the other dishes when I'm back in this plaza!

    Clay pot rice dishes are a childhood favorite of mine, and I'm so glad to have discovered this place! Their dishes are pretty spot on, and the special umami dark soy sauce is readily available at each table to drizzle over your dish. We ordered the special spare rib and also the salted fish and eggplant (comes with chicken), as well as an order of choy sum veggies. Everything came out as we expected, piping hot, and it was so satisfying to hear that sizzle as I poured the special soy sauce over my clay pot dish! Flavors were solid, and enhanced by the yummy soy sauce. The choy sum veggies were also tender crisp, perfectly done! Service was ok, the servers weren't rude, but they weren't warm and fuzzy either. But par for the course. The restaurant is small but bright and tightly packed, and obviously very popular, especially around the lunch hours. I'd recommend giving this place a try!

    This review is quite overdue, from March around the time they had their grand opening. This is located in the 99 ranch plaza, there is a lot of parking but finding it can still be pretty difficult at meal times and after work. We opted to walk over from home, allowed us to make some room for dinner! There was a huge wait for a table. We had our hearts on trying BZZ so waited maybe 45 minutes? They speak Cantonese here! Already a good sign for authenticity! You order by QR code, the service was pretty nice. Our food didn't take too long to come out. My rice was perfectly crispy, there's soy sauce at the table. There is limited seating inside. I got the cordyceps flower and chicken claypot and my partner had the lap mei claypot. Both were a little bland, but the soy sauce really helped enhance the flavor. I would come back, I also only ate half and had to take the other half as leftovers. My partner finished his food. The interior is very brightly lit and the outside has models on display of most of their menu. A nice touch!

    This place is perfect for winter. The wait is long tho because it does take like 15-20 min for them to make a pot. The food quality does justify the wait. It's a bit pricy from my opinion but I still go there because it's hard to make clay pot at home. I love the beef with egg one! It's a medium size shop. But again the food doesn't come out that quick so the wait can be long. Great place for lunch with family and friends.

    After a long day, we were looking for something not too heavy for dinner and this clay pot rice hit the spot. We tried the signature lap mei, secret pork ribs, mushroom and chicken, and salted fish and egg plant. They were all very good but my faves were the secret pork ribs and salted fish and egg plant. Both were very comforting and feels like home. Of note, the salted fish and egg plant does not come with Choi sum. Portions are definitely reasonable for one person.

    You Dim Sum, You Lose Sum Chinese chain with, what I believe, is their only US location right here in city that Apple built, Cupertino, CA. They specialize in Cantonese cuisine, with the primary focus on claypot cooked rice dishes. They also feature a myriad of soups and stew, as well as some small dim sum (e.g., buns, dumplings, etc.) plates. The Good: *Friendly service *Something about the décor and branding was very on-point for this product. *QR code ordering thru a website (scan the code at the table). You don't pay thru the website, tho. They will bring you out a check and machine tableside. *The crispy rice at the bottom of the claypot is everything. It really adds a nice texture and flavor to the dish. *Chicken feet were on point and had a nice flavored sauce on them and were perfectly tender. *Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings in Clay Pot was maybe the most interesting thing I've eaten all year. The wings were cooked perfectly and seasoned well, but the exterior was coated in some kind of powdered egg concoction that was, well, let's just say a new experience for both of us. Glad we tried it once but not sure we're in a rush to try it again. *Very affordable by today's standards The Meh: *Located in the Cupertino Village shopping center, the parking here can be a bit tough to find during busier hours. *The chicken in the Cordyceps Flower Chicken Rice Clay Pot was overly-tenderized and had an odd texture. The rest of the disc was terrific, tho. *Siu Mai dumplings were just OK. The flavor was overly shrimpy, and the shrimp itself wasn't cut up as finely as we're used to. The Ugly: *No alcohol *As per usual, we're always the only non-Asians in this restaurant on a Sunday lunch time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Authentic, delicious and frugally-priced Cantonese cuisine in a casual environment.

    We got a few different claypots to try. Our favorite is the traditional one with Chinese sausage. Can't go wrong with Chinese sausage! We got one with chicken but I thought it was just okay and was lacking flavor. We all thought they could've cooked the clay pots more so the rice could get crispier

    BZZ Claypot 煲仔正 recently opened up in Cupertino Village and serves authentic Guangdong-flavored, single-serving claypot rice. While their menu has a variety of claypot rice flavors, the classic and most popular one comes with a bowl of crispy rice that is topped with Chinese sausage, cured pork belly, and bok Choy. Regardless of what claypot rice you choose, make sure to add a bit of soy sauce for an extra kick of savoriness and mix everything together before taking a bite. Overall, this place is great for comfort food and really hits the spot. Prices are a tad on the higher side especially for the side dishes, but tolerable. Even though BZZ Claypot just opened, it already has a decent line so make sure to come during off hours (or a smaller party) to avoid waiting!     Very satiating meal for relatively good prices! Came here at around 1pm on a Saturday - we put our names down on the list and waited around 10 minutes for a table. The wait looked pretty atrocious at first, but people are in and out of the store pretty quickly. There's a QR code to scan to order. We got the signature lap mei rice clay pot, the cordyceps flower chicken rice clay pot, the hometown fragrant handmade lemon tea, and the traditional double skin milk pudding. The food honestly took longer than I expected to come out (15+ minutes) especially considering the simplicity of the dishes, but I do understand it was very packed and hectic at the time. The clay pots are a pretty decent size. At first, it'll look like the amount of rice is too much for the toppings, but it evens out pretty well as you're eating. The sausage in the lap mei and the chicken in the chicken clay pot were both super tender and fresh. Even without the signature sauce poured in, both dishes were fragrant and flavorful. The rice gets the perfect amount of crispy at the bottom, which I feel like is hard to perfect. The lemon tea is pretty average, but get the double skin milk pudding if you come! So silky and a really good way to cool off. Is clay pot a dish you could make at home? Probably. The ingredients are simple, but the ease of coming to a restaurant like BZZ is super convenient. If I was craving something super simple and filling, I'd come here - worth a try.

Servers were friendly and checked in on us, but it took 25 minutes for our food to show up at our table after we ordered. The only consistent experience I've had are the oranges at the end of the meal. They are always amazingly sweet, juicy, and comes off the peel easily. I don't usually enjoy oranges, but I love the ones HomeEat offers! Will be back if in the area, but hope kitchen service will be quicker in the future.

There's schezwan peppers or Mala in it but it was not overpowering that it numbs your tastebuds! The tofu was soft and silky. The beef had good flavor and balanced the meal out. Beef was tender. The name is also really misleading because many Taiwanese restaurant use Grandma as the name. As a foodie this restaurant is legit. It's in a small plaza shared with another Taiwanese restaurant so parking can be difficult but there are plenty of street parking right next to the restaurant. The interior is clean and well organized. The service is prompt and good enough. They ask for reviews but didn't promise some freebie for a semi fake 5 star review which is great. I never leave a good review just for a freebie because my integrity is way more expensive than freebies. The food is phenomenal and authentic in every way. The frogs are tender and the spices are not overwhelming and brings out the flavor of the frog meat just right. The cured pork (pig face meat) is very rare in the states. It's also cured properly to give the authentic hunan flavor. They also mix it with raddish slices which is also rare in most Chinese restaurants here in the states. Even the conch with bamboo shots surprised me in how thin the slices of the conches are. It's also flavored without being too spicy nor too salty. Everything is on point. I do wish they used better white rice but that alone is not enough for me to take off any stars. This is just a wonderful restaurant that's on par with my favorite hunan restaurant in San Gabriel and I'm so glad I found it because I'm sure going to go back every week now.
