Love Byron's. The BBQ is great, but the best thing about this place is the people. Always friendly, always fast and always delicious (the food, not the staff). Best place in Auburn for old fashioned country style breakfast. they dont mind if you just sit there with your friends, eating and talking for as long as you want after your meal. I have been tempted to just wait a few minutes and order lunch, but that might have been a bit excessive. For lunch/dinner, the chipped pork, slaw and fried potatoes (not fries) and the cornbread muffins are slap your momma good. No butter needed! Meals are wonderful here! Breakfast is really great and their "chopped on the block with slaw and pickles" is to die for! And the southern style veggies, honestly delish. BUT there's so much more to Byron's ... Owners Glenn and Stephanie Gulledge are REAL community supporters. Even in tough economic times they are committed to faithfully supporting youth development causes and organizations in our area.
