Service is normally pretty good, but they have hired a bunch of new people that don't know what the menu items contain e.g. they don't know if they had Texas toast or not. I felt sorry for the new cashier because she had to ask almost on everything. I think they should take more time training the new employees. Also, the menu is quite confusing. It doesn't really describe or give prices in a way that's easy to read so you can order fast. I think they should just take the menu that the cashier is reading from that has the prices and post that. Other than that the food is decent quantity is below normal for my chopped pork and extra vegetables, because it only comes with two vegetables. It was $19 not sure if it's worth it but I do like their cornbread!

This is my go to place for breakfast when I'm in auburn. Everything is fresh and taste great. If your looking for a good southern breakfast I recommend

What a fantastic locals place in Auburn Alabama. They have the best barbecue in town. They have been open since 1989. They have great breakfast I hear but we went for lunch. We had the ribs and smoked chicken sandwich. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. The cornbread is fantastic. On a Friday afternoon this place was packed. Glad to be part of history. On game day this place has a line around the restaurant. There's parking around the building.

First time here and wont be last time. Marked and saved this spot already. Parking sucks as not enough spots for the business this place does. The smell [smoked meats]right when u get out of the car tells you it is a great place. Quick service Great customer service Get the sausage and the patotoes are a must. Cant wait to go back for dinner next.

Best local bbq joint in Tiger land. An old converted Arby's into one comfortable family friendly bbq joint that also does a mighty fine breakfast. Recommend the chipped plate--pork finely chopped, with flavor dominating over the sauce. Plenty of sauces on the table if you want more. Lots of superior sides. My recommendations are their take on Brunswick Stew--lots of pulled chicken, veggies and a rich sauce--and the fried potatoes, what we call home fries in the Volunteer state. But these are superior--well drained and crunchy. Decent cornbread too. Soda drinks on the fountain and iced tea--serve yourself. Friendly service, good food, reasonable prices. And I love the adaptive reuse building!

Breakfast of Champions..... it was so good.

My favorite breakfast spot other than going to my grandma's house. Even the ribs falling off the bone.

This is my second time trying Jim 'N Nick's and our food could not be beat! We had the following: Deviled Eggs-made with sweet relish, just like my moms! Delish! Classic Pulled Pork Sandwich-my father devoured it and it was piled high with meat with their special BBQ sauce. Onion rings- hand cut and fried crispy! So good cause they are homemade! Smoked wings- fried to perfection with a sweet red habanera sauce. Served with celery, carrots and blue cheese dipping sauce. Cheese biscuits- these mini biscuits are like popovers... and we popped them right in our mouths. Don't start nibbling cause you can't stop! Couldn't be any happier with our food! After waiting about 10 minutes at my table without so much as an acknowledgment -- and with the restaurant only about 20-30% full -- I finally gave up and went somewhere else. Disappointing first impression, especially for a place that smelled so good when I walked in.
