Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

Our server was attentive and quick, although she did make a remark asking if one of our party was sure they wanted to order as much as they did. Ignoring that, ordering was smooth. We got their pancakes, French toast, a side order of bacon, side order of sausage, and ranch omelette with biscuits and grits. Everything was good but the standouts were the pancakes and omelette that were very filling and hit the spot. I sat down to a table sticky with syrup. I had to request it be cleaned and then clean my arms and phone. I then ordered the tri tip with a salad, medium rare. When I unwrapped my silverware it was stuck to the napkin as it was also covered in syrup. The meal came (not the salad) and I saw my dried out, well done slices of beef. Once my salad finally arrived, I sent the meal back requesting it be cooked as ordered. The manager came by (super nice woman) and apologized. The waitress then came back (also a total sweetheart) and apologized, stating the meal would be comped. I explained that wasn't necessary but she insisted. Then the new meal came. It certainly wasn't overcooked this time. In fact, it wasn't cooked. It was lightly seared on the outside but raw and cold inside. Thanks for the offer of a free raw meal, but I chose to leave and go somewhere else.
