probably one of the craziest chocolate croissants i've ever had. idk why it took me so long to come here even though i lived down the street but one quick stop definitely made me realize i should come back.

I only order one thing here and it slaps every single time. The banana Nutella croissant is what everyone needs to start the morning completely satiated. The perfect size, the croissant is filled with the bakery's homemade Nutella and a perfectly ripened banana. I've had like five of these so far and haven't gotten tired of them yet. The great quality and impeccable flavor keeps me on unwavering the banana Nutella path. I have seen other order sandwiches and other bakery items and it all looks so tasty, colorful, and well portioned. The interior is cute and they have plenty of seating-- both indoor and outdoor. The staff is friendly and sometimes you can get a glimpse of the back kitchen where you see the bakers.

The croissants did not taste as good as they look, unfortunately! My croissant was a bit dry, which was dissapointing. That said, the service was great and they have a lot of different pastry options and a large assortment of cookies. Not convinced I'll be back

Saturday lunch. Went in for a latte but ended up enjoying sitting on the front porch in the sun so much that I got hungry. So I ordered the BALT sandwich that I will order again as it was delicious. The baguette was perfectly toasted and soft and each bite had just the right amount of each ingredient. I will be slowly ticking off each item of the menu now that this cute place is so close to me.

Had to stop for a quick coffee because the people we were visiting were not ready yet. The atmosphere is super cute. People are allowed to bring their dogs in. The service is quite friendly. My coffee is delicious (americano). My only request would be to have Stevia as a choice. even though I didn't have a dessert they look quite delicious. There are also juices and other beverages. Definitely recommend.

And this isn't even the chocolate!!

I'm so excited! Delicious everything right out my office door! Thao, who works the counter, is so sweet and helpful. But what am I going to choose? WAY TOO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM!!!! Did someone say "Pot pie"?! I'm sold!

Vanilla oat milk latte, and Bacon egg and cheese sandwich!

Their cinnamon roll is to die for, the texture is more like a croissant so it doesn't have that typical stodgy texture.

The wait was longer because we had to wait for the specials to come out from the oven, otherwise we could've just skipped the line and ordered directly at the counter. *Mango Lassi Croissant $15 Simply amazing. Ngl a $15 croissant should be illegal...but I went speechless after the first bite. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY I am not even a huge mango lover like anybody does, but WOW this mango croissant was seriously the BEST mango pastry EVER. The pastry shell held flaky and crunchy, and the center was filled with a labneh cheesecake and mango gelee. We were surprised the filling wasn't liquid-y at all and held up well! We also tried the new Artichoke and Green Garlic Foccacia ($9), and the Fennel and Sausage Foccacia ($9). I get their foccacia slice every time I'm here and they never let me down. So pillowy and delicious.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

If you have not been fortunate to salivate and then dine on ANY item that RB offers, then all I can say is, " Sorry for you!" Lol! Does it live up to the hype? YES! YES!YES! I am in love with their sandwiches, first 1. THE BREAD: worth the cheat... baked on premises. You can see it live when you walk in here and on India street. Repeat after me.. BAGUETTE..BRIOCHE..FOCACCIA..CIABATTA 2. THE OPTIONS... Repeat after me: TURKEY KALE BASIL PESTO.. TUNA..SPICY TOFU.. HAM WITH ROSEMARY BUTTER Your eyes are starting to dance.. there is a huge smile on your face, you feel a bit unsteady as the server asks "What can I get for you?" and you point to the sandwich display case and say"I want THAT, THIS and come to think of it... THAT TOO!" 3. PASTRIES: Salivate with me: CHOCOLATE BEAR CLAW.. PISTACHIO CROISSANT.. CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE, EARL GREY MORNING BUN.... 4. SAVORY: SCALLION TOAST, CHEESY PRETZEL BEAR CLAW, HEIRLOOM TOMATO TART 5. Service: TOP NOTCH My fave is the Turkey Kale and Pesto on Sesame Focaccia.. the kale is marinated with lemon juice and olive oil, turkey is a mix of light and dark meat, the pesto has pine nut and pecorino. Yummmmmm.. I was asked if I wanted a bag, yes, one that is big enough to pack the entire store! There are a plethora of fine eateries in Prospect Heights which I am always exploring... However, when your exploration leads you to a gem, like RB, or your fave song, you want it over and over again. There is always a line, they let clients in one at a time or in twos.
