We absolutely love this place. Our gluten-free family enjoys their delicious homemade GF buns, the sweet potato fries are the bomb, and the organic meat and veggies? You can taste the superior quality of their food! I wish we could afford to eat there more than once a month as our splurge. First time here with a gift card from a friend...This is the only restaurant in the Inland Empire that knows how to cook salmon properly--light pink on the outside--dark pink on the inside--called "medium-rare"--this way you get the true flavor of the fish and it doesn't taste like shoe leather. (and only $7.95 where some fish places charge an additional $10 or more for the same salmon). Hannah was the "chef" and it was done perfectly. BRAVO to her...Also had the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Excellent....I will come back to eat the salmon three times a week to get in all my omega-3s...My husband ordered spaghetti bolognese and it was a bit "light" on the meat sauce but, nevertheless, delicious. we did a search for 'gluten free' on yelp while in temecula and ended up here! can i just say, 'SWEET POTATO FRIES'?! not the mushy, icky kind you've had everywhere - these are big, firm, fresh sweet potato wonderful-ness ... mmmm... i also enjoyed a grilled veggie bowl, which came with the option of brown rice and choice of (many) yummy sauce(s). i enjoyed the variety of veggies and their NON-mushiness - cooked perfectly. another plus? lots of fabulous beer and wine choices and lovely place to sit outside (next to their fresh herb garden!) not so much? ... kaleslaw and still a few growing pains, which can be forgiven based on their desire to serve organic, local food and lots of g.f. choices - yay! read more

During a rough time in my life this place was a surprising but much appreciated source of comfort. The employees, lead by the amazing Manager Kate are welcoming, genuine, and care about customer satisfaction. The environment while small provided a cozy and unique experience. Seated inside you get a great view of the well oiled machine that is the cooking staff, passionately and professionally producing delicious food. I would absolutely recommend bushfire to anyone, and I personally recommend the BLT. It made me smile when I needed it most. read more

I took the family to try it out a few days ago. Soo good we had to come back again. Great service, very clean. I have tried the Lamb Curry and it was great. Today I tried the Beef Brisket and it was perfect. Prices are crazy affordable. Support your local business's. Specially when they actually serve excellent food. 5 stars all the way. Great food with a healthy flair. Everything on the menu is good and you can never go wrong. It's a hidden treasure tucked right next to Trader Joes. A must stop before going shopping. I have eaten here several times, the staff is either real friendly or real grumpy, I love the quinoa burger, the veggie delight sandwich, and my sons love the steak sandwich. I only gave three stars because again it's hit or miss with customer service, they expect tips at the register but no one comes outside to get you a refill or a to go box, and the last trip the bread was so salty I couldn't eat it... This restaurant has the best tasting gluten free meals in town and everyone that works there is actually knowledgable so if you have an allergy, your chances are excellent that you'll have a delicious, trouble free meal here. To add this isn't a place I would take my children. This is big people food and its one of the few healthy food places around. Why can't we support to people like this. I ordered the Panang chicken curry ($10.95). I wanted the focaccia bread so to keep my carbs down, I asked for veggies as a rice replacement. Yes, with a charge~ no problem. My meal came to $15 and change. A bit pricey for chicken and veggies, but no problem. The problem! My bowl was half full. I inquired. That is the measured amount, they said. I had ordered sweet potatoes as one side and I probably got 5 tiny slices of them. Having owned a business in the past, I would have brought my customer a side of veggies. The best businesses know that a side of "whatever" costs little but the gesture brings gains. read more

Also the food looks like a cafeteria since it is a random assortment of food that looks like it's been sitting out for hours. Unfortunately we had a less than stellar experience. After standing at the counter alone (no other customers) for about 7 minutes while employees passed by time and time again, a young lady finally said "You've been helped right?". Of course we had not, so we ordered. She was helpful and pleasant, doing a good job of answering questions and providing input in menu items. We ended up ordering the pork dish with mashed potatoes, the beef dish with brown rice, the lamb curry dish with white rice, the steak sandwich, the chicken, a Greek salad, Mac n cheese, and a weekly special sandwich. The food arrived in a timely manner, but they forgot to cut our two sandwiches in fours (we were eating family style with friends so we could try a large variety of menu items) and they forgot to cut our chicken into fours as well. They took the sandwiches and chicken back and promptly handled our request. The beef dish: A saucy BBQ style with a good flavor, but lacking anything special and not as good as some chain BBQ restaurants. The pork dish: I am a bit of a salt addict, but this saucy BBQ pork was too salty and lacking flavor. The lamb dish: flavorful and tender. Actually one of the better lamb dishes I have had, though not as good as most Indian restaurant lamb curry dishes. The chicken: the skin was crispy and flavorful, but the chicken was in the dry side. The steak Sandwich: the bread, chimichurri, and toppings were quite good, but oddly enough the actual steak lacked flavor of any kind. The special of the week sandwich: the highlight of the meal by a significant margin. Unfortunately since its a weekly special and not a menu item, I am unsure how frequently it is available. The Mac n cheese: very good and recommended. The mashed potatoes: a solid mashed potato dish. Overall, after reading the reviews we were all surprised and disappointed. Over cooked my burger. Service was ok. No one asked if we had any questions and the group I was with had many. The salads are very good. I had a mixed greens one with pears and blueberries. The food was very fresh and more health conscious. The price point was good for what your getting. The grass feed beef and tri tip were good. The lemonade was way too sweet. I came here with some friends for lunch based on the ratings we saw on Yelp. We had a wonderful lunch and especially enjoyed tasting some of the sides. If its your first time there you should order the side plate; you can order 4 sides and share them so you don't have to make up your mind! I plan to return again soon! read more

Bushfire is a place that gets organic and natural in line with affordable, so I was delighted to find such a place in Temecula (of all places!).
