Ordered Greek Salad with salmon. The salmon was extremely small. I will not order this again.

We ordered tri tip plate, surf and turf, and the spinach and strawberry salad w/ tri tip. Yes. We love our tri tip and while we weren't expecting it to be perfect, we expected it to be warm (all 9 pieces of tri trip were COLD). The portions are ridiculously small (3 small slices of tri tip per plate) and small piece of salmon. Maybe the burgers here are great but I would NOT recommend anything else. The three slices of tri tip on the surf and turf plate were end pieces that shouldn't have been served at all. All of it was super tough, cold, and flavorless. The brussel sprouts were great. The mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were subpar. The chimichurry sauce was fantastic. Service was great but they forgot the add ons for my salad and the table next to us had to send their food back as well. Everyone was extremely friendly and the tables were clean and bussed quickly. The only thing that saved our lunch today was going to Handels around the corner for some ice cream. TL;DR food came out cold. Portions are TINY. Nothing to get excited about. The place is pretty clean and flavors in all the dishes we ordered were amazing. The empanadas and the sauce, delish!!! If you want happy hour, go early because they won't give you the discount even if you're in line before 5. If you pay after 5, no discount. The food is very fresh in Bushfire. I waited twenty minutes which I thought was a bit long for a salad. I ordered cold Tri- tip slices to go on top. The tri-tip was how I ordered it but it was two slices, very small, for 5.00. That was definitely overpriced for the meat. My dinner mate ordered a burger and fries. The fries were room temperature and had to be sent back. I had waited so long for this business to open because the online menu offered such appetizing meals. I was very disappointed and had hoped for so much more. Because the menu offered so much, I want to give it another go. I know better than to order the overpriced tri-tip, however. read more

My wife and I found bushfire years ago and found ourselves making dates around which bushfire we can go to next. We are beyond stoked to have one open up in our hometown, Riverside. We love all their food and are very pleased by their immense gluten free selection as well (my wife has a gluten allergy). The flavor of all of the food is great, I dig their burgers personally. Good beer selection as well. The service is great, helpful and efficient. You don't have to wait forever before digging into to the tasty food. The ambience is also nice. It's clean and tidy at all times, with a good amount of indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating. read more

I went to this location during my lunch to pick up a sandwich. I waited 30 minutes only to be told they forgot to make it. Staff was not helpful or considerate. Don't plan on returning as there are other options in the shopping center. Long wait times seem to be common here. read more

We were really looking forward to trying this new eatery. I ordered a tri-tip plate and I've had a similar thing before at another restaurant, but the tri-tip they had was really dry and room temperature. Absolutely horrid. My BLT was not edible. They put a spice or pepper on the sandwich, which taste like a habanero chili. My mouth is still on fire. I couldn't eat the sandwich ltbis called the millionaire BLT which is ironic because there was very little bacon on it. It was so awful, I'm wondering if they were playing a joke on me. In addition, it is very expensive. The BLT comes with no sides. Just a small ciabatta size sandwich. I have no problem eating jalapeños and spicy food, but this was vile hot. I wanted to walk my sandwich up to the counter for a refund, but my stomach became sick from the spice/heat. Also, they have no coke or pepsi product. Very loud atmosphere & acoustics, if you are noise or sensory skip this place. Ambiance is lacking & it is a very small establishment. Went home and threw up due to the heat/spice. If you can't handle habanero heat peppers, definitely skip this place. How do they keep the BLT on the menu. Who can consume this? read more

This was the second time I went to Bushfire in two weeks. Needless to say, I loved it! I had the sustainable salmon bowl and the California Burger, and both were delicious! I love the variety of cuisines they have on the menu -- not matter what mood I'm in, I can find something tasty. I also tried the empanadas and they were delicious with the guacamole. This place really is a hit or miss. My family goes about 2-3 times a month and the experience is always different. There are a few employees that seem confused, cranky and all together unhelpful. The burgers are usually good. The veggie plate is good if everything is fresh. The salmon I've had from there has been small and dry. Sometimes the chicken and beef is overcooked and cold. The jasmine rice has been mushy. Sometimes things are too salty. Overall, we're happy to have a place that has grass fed and hormone free protein options but just wish they were more consistent with quality and service. read more

This location is hit or miss, and the inconsistencies are disappointing. On my most recent visit, I ordered the quinoa and power greens salad, but it was missing quinoa, black rice, and kale--three key ingredients of the dish. For a new restaurant, I'd expect more attention to detail. Hopefully, they'll address these issues as they settle in. read more

So good! I got the Tri Tip bowl with roasted veggies and jasmine rice (GF). I also tried their sweet potatoes as a side. The order could have been split between two people as their portion sizes are generous. I also loved their variety of gluten free items plus the convenient ordering process: you pay when you order then take a number to your table for your food to be delivered. The inside has plenty of seating but it was full so we decided to sit outside, however, it was still comfortable as they have outdoor heaters. The restaurant did not offer the Farmhouse Bowl shown online. I substituted a jasmine rice, salmon, and squash bowl. The rice was undercooked, crunchy and stuck to my teeth. I didn't eat much. The salmon was grilled on one side and had a topping, not identifiable as sun dried tomato. The cup of teriyaki sauce was cold. The squash didn't have much flavor. Just brought home a to go order. Wife's food was good. I ordered the tri tip chimichuri plate, and after getting it home, found out there was no sauce. I called up and they offered to include extra next time, but that really doesn't help or make things right. Just got to eat that tri tip without flavor I guess and suck it up. I hate how places like this ask for tips when you buy at the counter before retrieving and eating your food. Finally convinced myself to never leave a tip like this again. read more

I got a chance to pick up to-go food from here for my boss so that we could decide if we're going to have them cater our Christmas party. We ordered online and got a sampling of everything she was interested in. Salmon, tri-tip, chicken and several sides. All were good! Especially liked what they put on the salmon and that the tri-tip was juicy! The sides were delicious too! I wasn't impressed with the service as the person that answered the phone when I called was slow to respond with "what are you next to" when I was driving around the shopping center lost- across from Starbucks would have helped immensely. Then, when I got inside, I was surprised to see it to order at the counter type of restaurant. The food is actually really overpriced for that kind of a situation as I was expecting a larger sit down restaurant. Also to go orders were supposed to be sitting on a rack, but I had to stand around a while and ask for mine. Then, of course, the food was cold when we got it to the ranch where we're going to have the Christmas party and I actually thought it was a test.
