The food was just okay, I got the thai chicken with jasmine rice and veggies (7/10) and the chicken empanadas (6/10), they were kinda on the dry side. But what I was really craving was sweet potato fries and when I opened the bag, I was shocked to see their color as they looked liked they were almost to the point of being burned. I thought my visiting family and I would try this restaurant as it sounded like healthy fare that's reasonably priced. However, when we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we were told that their burgers weren't available (!) which is what we were all going to order, so instead, a couple of us tried the tri-tip bowls. I asked for the tri-tip veggie bowl, which sounded good when I was told the ingredients, but was 50% carrots and 50% sweet potatoes when it arrived, with some very tough beef tri-tips. My nephew ordered a BLT, which he said was good. The other tri-tip bowl looked very different from mine and the beef looked pink. The other dishes we had were Ceasar salad and salmon bowl. Absolutely amazing every single time. This is my third visit, and the consistency in both food and service is truly impressive. Just finished eating at bushfire kitchen. And I am very excited about finding this place. I have celiac and it's very hard to find a truly gluten-free place to eat. Not everything is gluten-free but they have lots of options that are safe. And taste delicious. Today I had the tri-tip chimichurri with french fries and grilled vegetables. My husband who doesn't have celiac had a Fuego hamburger with mac & cheese. I forgot to take pictures. Both were very good. My chimichurri sauce was just spicy enough for my delicate pallet. And my husband's hamburger was spicy enough for his preference. I highly recommend this place. I also found out that the focaccia bread that came with my dinner can be bought us a loaf. So now I know where I can go to buy a loaf of gluten-free focaccia bread that's really delicious. read more

Bushfire has been one of my favorite restaurants for years I've been going to the Menifee location. But this location is seeing some growing pains. This is new restaurant is really good! I really like their lemonades actually. Things can add up! But I would still try them out. One time I did get a hair on my food which killed the experience. I really enjoyed this casual Riverside dine in spot. Located in Riverside near the University, it's a great place to grab lunch. Order at the front, and food is brought to you, indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of healthy options available, including having all of their beef be grass fed, and chicken is cage free. There are bowls (choice base, protein, and side), salads, burgers, and plates. You know a place is good when you veer away from the Yelp highlights recommendations, and still love your meal. I went with the Thai curry chicken bowl, and it was delicious! A little spicy, with great flavor. I chose the fire roasted veggies as my side, and they were cooked very well. Overall, a great dish. Empanadas were amazing! The breading on them was so delicious, perfect flakiness and fresh tasting. The side great sauce was also so yummy, it will leave you scraping the bottom of the container. I believe this sauce was supposed to be "chimichurri", but it was not your typical oily type. It had a thicker texture. The Tuscan sandwich with side of Mac was my least favorite, but they were ok. I think the bread was a bit tough, and Mac n cheese could have used more flavor or salt? Soda machine had great fun options, such as "pineapple cream". There are also beer and wine options available, I must checkout their happy hour. Service was good at checkout. The young lady who helped us at the register was very friendly, and even let me try the Thai flavoring when I was on the fence about it, which is what sold me.
