We sat in a nice booth, with plastic barriers between tables, but because it had been wiped down immediately before we sat down, I could still smell the disinfectant while I was trying to enjoy my spiked strawberry lemonade. I had the fish sandwich, which was crispy and flavorful. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer was good too. The service was very slow, though. We didn't have any silverware/napkins and though we had asked for waters before we ordered cocktails, they didn't arrive until we asked 3 different employees (whoever we saw walking by, because our server had disappeared for quite a while in the middle of our time there). Had a nice time at Burtons. I was meeting up with an old friend had a lot to catch up on the server was awesome told us to take our time and just wave at him when we wanted to order. The special was scallops with risotto so good the scallops were seared to perfection and the risotto was not heavy and very tasty. My friend had what I think they called a power bowl. She loved it. Very disappointed. The service was poor. It took a long time to get our drinks. It took longer for her to take our order and longer to get our food. Service was so slow that I could write this review. The server repeatedly asked if we wanted appetizers which we didn't. All we wanted was a couple burgers. My wife likes hers medium well and I like mine really rare. We both got medium. I will say the Parmesan fries were good. read more

The food was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. As I have multiple food allergies, the staff helped tremendously in choices and this chain has many options for allergy problems. Nice decor and plenty of space between the tables. read more

I got the general Tso's bowl and the chicken was very good! The chicken was great and the bowl had good ingredients. I went with two other people and for some reason one of their dishes came out about 5-10 minutes later than the others. That said, they both really enjoyed their dishes too. We found Burton's on Yelp! We were looking for a place to eat after a day of shopping at the Natick Mall. We were not disappointed. My son had the Maxx Burger. My wife and I had had the Generals and Harvest chicken bowls. We all shared the Buffalo chicken dip appetizer. The price was reasonable, the service was on point ( we never saw the bottom of a water glass) and the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. We felt extremely safe eating out with Covid restrictions. We would definitely eat here again. read more

Brenda served us and was AWESOME! She was friendly, had recommendations since it was our first time, and went above and beyond! The food was fresh and the drinks were strong (but good!). Brenda brought out our food and everything looked great. She came back thru a few minutes later to say she would be bringing me some hotter fries since she felt like they weren't as fresh as they could be. I didn't know what I was missing until she brought the fresh out of the grease fries. YUM! The outdoor seating made this lunch perfect! Management is running a great establishment. read more

I've heard of Burtons in Hingham and Westford from friends, and have always heard people speak highly of the restaurant. Unfortunately, both Hingham and Westford are not places that I frequent. I had been wondering what would fill the former Outback space, and heard that this place was finally coming to the area and was excited to try it out. I will agree with one of the other recent reviews, this is one of the better and more appetizing restaurant choices along the Route 9 corridor of Framingham. Sure, there are plenty of stores and amenities; however, there is a lack of really spectacular restaurants (think of what else is available, Olive Garden, ew, TGI Fridays, just average). Burton's is brand new and gorgeous inside. They attract a different clientele and the restaurant is open, spacious, and designed with bright colors. Food was great. Very fast and completely accurate (efficient employees here too by the way). Menu had a decent amount of variety including soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood and more. Typical, expected American fare here at Burtons. Location could be better (I always prefer Route 9 Westbound than the Eastbound side); however it's directly in the middle of all the shopping centers and the hustling and bustling area in Framingham. 5 stars. I'll definitely be back in the future and would highly suggest this place as the best of the chain restaurants in the Framingham area, definitely superior to the rest of the options. read more

We've tried this place a few times now and I just don't get the love for it. The food is been consistently under seasoned and overpriced for what you get. The last draw was a sad Mediterranean chicken risotto dish I had last night that was just plain boring. Almost no flavor, very few vegetables despite the description sounding like it would have more, and it cost $27. It's a rip off. read more

Burton's is new to the area, so we thought we'd stop by and check it out. They have a scratch kitchen and were very solicitous about the possibility of food allergies. Our waiter, Tom, was quite accommodating and had excellent recommendations about the menu. We split the Fresh Catch risotto, Mahi-Mahi today, and had the Philly cheese steak spring rolls and parmesan & rosemary fries to go with that. Everything came out hot and tasty, and with a fair few more fries than we had expected! It was all worth the eating. At Tom's suggestion, we also split the key lime pie, which was an individually made miniature pie, larger than I was expecting, but justifying it's relative high price point with size and quality. In short, it was among the best I've had. If you have the opportunity, this place is well worth checking out. read more

Went here for the first time today - 10/10!! Our server Wilbur was great, and even though sitting outside adds extra on a server, they were super attentive and nice! One of the best meals I've had in a while. Three of us shared fried calamari (delicious) and a greek salad (fresh and large). We've come here twice now and have been very pleased with our experience. Love that this is a scratch kitchen, food is very fresh and everything we've eaten has been excellent. Great selection of beers, pretty good service and while it's a little more expensive than other restaurants of this type, the quality warrants it. We have gone absolutely gaga over the Siracha wings. They're UNBELIEVABLE. Entree portions are good but I think next time we come we'll order a handful of appetizers and some cocktails. They have some pretty cool and exciting appetizers on the menu. Well to start I wanted to LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I didn't. We arrived and were told there would be a wait. Which I get, it's fine. It was a busy Thursday night. I ordered steak and it was overpriced and tough. I get it, sometimes you get a tough piece of steak but when I complained to the waiter he rolled his eyes at me. THAT WAS IT. It wasn't like I'd eaten 85% of the steak. I'd had two bites. My dining companion was already halfway through their entree (burger and fries) and after the eye roll I didn't even care anymore. All I wanted to do was pay the bill and leave this underwhelming place. I asked my friend how the burger was and he said he liked Five Guys better. LOL! I did ask to speak to the manager. Pros: -Great atmosphere -Awesome menu with a lot of variety. There's something for everyone, but it's not the same old pasta and burger dishes you would find at competitors. I really liked the fried general tsao's cauliflower and the short rib grilled cheese. -The beer list is pretty decent with some delicious crafty choices. The mixed cocktails were good too. -The customer service was unexpectedly good. The server forgot my sandwhich, and so the manager not only comped that, but also a round of drinks. Just go! It is worth every penny! We've sat at the bar both times and the service is phenomenal. Best margarita and an excellent well rounded cocktail menu. Even the wine choices are excellent and well priced. The whole menu offers something for everyone in your party. The only addition I suggest is a charcuterie board though they do offer bread, olive tapenade and cheese! Everything is fresh. The best wings I've ever had. We ordered maple sriracha. The Allen Brothers filet comes cook to perfection. Even the to go boxes are convenient and placed with foil so food doesn't get wet and soupy. The bathrooms are clean. The paper towels are soft. The soap smells delicious. The nose tissue is soft as the toilet paper and on top of that the toilets are self flushing! They're not automatic so they don't splash all over you!!!! Everything I complain about other restaurants is corrected here except for the one thing I'm going to complain about - dirty menu's. However, time and thought has gone into this restaurant. They have multiple locations in other states but it's corporate is in Andover, MA. I love supporting local businesses. It's by far one of the best in New England! read more

Would love to leave a higher rating as the food was great, but our waitress ruined it for us. We were seated in a timely manner but once our waitress came over, Rene, we were met with a bad attitude and worse customer service. She did not even give us our food as she failed to see us after getting our order, though she was very attentive to the tables surrounding my mother and I. After we were done with our food without a check in from her, we simply asked for the bill of which she threw our receipt on the table and walked away. She then took her time coming back to get our card so we could not leave. The food is great but Rene was not. read more

The great thing about Burtons is that they are a scratch kitchen. You can go in with allergies or sensitivities and know they are going to take them seriously. Scratch kitchen can also mean you have to wait. A long time. Not just for your food, but for your drinks, for your table, for most things really. Every time we've gone it's been an extended kind of meal. The food is good, and tastes fresh, but know its not an in-and-out kind of establishment. Takeout is an option to take advantage of though! Call ahead and order if you feel like getting things away from the wait. read more

We came into Burtons this past weekend and will definitely be back! It was busy, we were able to grab seats at the bar. Hailey was wonderful! Very attentive and made me one of the best old fashions Ive had outside of the city. We had a few appetizers to share, the Tsos cauliflower and the spring rolls were the best.
