And that is the Muffin House Café makes some of the very best GD muffins in the world. On our way to Massachusetts to visit family, we stopped at their Natick location (one of six in Eastern and Central MA) to pick up a box of muffins. Selecting which six of their twenty-two muffins to bring was a daunting task, because every one of them looked amazing. Which six should make the cut? Would it be Banana Chocolate Chip? Butter Lemon Crunch? Cranberry Apple Walnut? Pina Colada? Raspberry Vanilla? Salted Caramel? Our six finally came down to Coffee Cake, Corn, Double Chocolate Chip (because my grand son can't get enough chocolate), Funfetti (because my grand daughter likes colored sprinkles), Raspberry Vanilla, and Banana Chocolate Chip. The muffins were soft, moist, loaded with fillings, and large. If you eat one half, trust me .... you'll be satisfied. The six muffins ran a little over $23 and considering their size and quality were a terrific value. I'll end this review with a quote from my grand daughter. When we were packing up to return home, there were two muffins left in the box. She looked at us sweetly and said, "please leave the muffins". I needed a cake. I had never been to The Muffin House, it's a cute little place near the DQ in Natick and there are several others in Medway, Millis and nearby. The muffins are splendid, and the cake was fantastic! Cake orders are taken online and delivered to whichever Muffin House you choose. Their muffins and cupcakes are insane, could not be any better or better value. They are not able to make bagels quickly, or well. They don't have lettuce, tomato, onion, sprouts, cucumbers, nothing. They tend to wrap the toasted and cream cheese bagel in foil, so it stays hot and the Cream cheese becomes runny. People are nice to work there, but they are young and a little bit overwhelmed sometimes. read more

If you don't get here EARLY, as in pre-7am see yah later top, classic muffin flavors. But don't fret because THEYRE ALL GOOD. Oh and iced coffee? Great muffins, I can't believe I lived near here for so long and never knew about this place. Legit best muffins and they are huge. I do suggest going early as I'm sure they sell out. I have tried the muffins many times. This is not a good muffin. They are way too mushy and have a slighly greasy taste. I think they may use blueberries that have been previously frozen which account for part of the problem. If they use butter which i doubt it's low quality butter. read more

I went here at 5:45 am and was greeted by a happy and enthusiastic staff yesterday morning. I ordered an orange cranberry muffin for myself and a pumpkin for a coworker, along with a coffee. My coworker, who is over 50, told me it was the best pumpkin muffin she has ever had. I thought the orange cranberry was delicious. As a bonus the coffee was pretty good as well. We love this place. Unfortunately my waistline doesn't need any of the muffins they sell, however, every day my dog's morning walk takes me right by here and well the rest is history. It's to the point now the dog knows I'm going to stop for an iced coffee and maybe a muffin or two or three!!! I love the blueberry muffin and the morning glory. They are outstanding. The kids love the pistachio and coffee cake muffins. You really can't go wrong with any of your picks here. The staff is extremely friendly and work quickly to manage the line of hungry customers looking for their morning fix of coffee and whatever else they are going to buy. The last time I was in here I couldn't decide so we ended up getting nine muffins for the office. Let's just say that by noon there wasn't a crumb to be found in the muffin box. I haven't been to this place in 2 years because the last time I visited this location left a lot to be desired in comparison to the others. I'm disheartened to report that it's no different. Coffee was great, but hardly any cream cheese on my bagels. No sense of urgency among employees and the place is cramped and messy. I don't blame the employees for this. I think the owners need to make the very worthy, very necessary investments to improve this location and train their employees to better handle a crowd. Muffin House Natick would be even more of an overwhelming success if things were just tweaked a little because it truly deserves more recognition than it already gets.. Best wishes to all! read more

This place is the picture perfect cute coffee house! It is family owned and everything is homemade. would take the extra 2 minutes to get here instead of the Starbucks down the street, this place is such a win! I got the peanut butter banana honey toast, it was spectacular of course, but my sister got the pistachio muffin. This is where my one piece of advice to improve this coffee shop would come from. In the pistachio muffin they added artificial green color and it's bright green inside the pistachio muffin, it also doesn't really taste like pistachio. I strongly disagree to who ever thought it would be a good idea to put dye in the pistachio muffin. Other than this, the coffee is amazing, the staff are nice, and the coffee and food are amazing. The glass case that they keep the pastry's in looks like it could be on a desert baking show. I'm drooling right now. This cafe was a success! But every cafe has its small flaws.
