Busy Friday afternoon... not enough cashiers because the store is horrendously managed
    Philip R.

Burlington (which I heard filed for bankruptcy) is an investment trove waiting to happen. The logistics here are on point; item I can't find anywhere else. However, the management here is horrible. They can't seem to manage people, crowds, or themselves. The closed the fitting rooms at a clothing store... enough said. Higher ups better come in and clean house before the bank does

    Bad service

This woman clearly doesn't like her job which is just standing there scanning items. She is a very rude and mean person. Wanted no not wanted demanded me to take an item back to where I got it from when it's clearly her job I replied to which the item wasn't mine she ignored me and then talked back to my mom and sister. All she has to do is scan and eat like the pig she is. she clearly needs a little bit of walking herself is she's so lazy to do her job and take the item back herself. The other 2 cashiers were very very nice smiling and helping customers in comparison to this bitch right here and it is not the first time it has happened with this woman. Burlington choose your cashiers better or someone who's life isn't so miserable.

Clean and well organized. The customer service that Mayada provided was SUPERB. She was really sweet and informative.

There are no words to describe this store. I did find a nice dress coat among the slim pickings. However, I didn't expect them to fold a wool coat and place it in a bag rather than leaving it on the hanger and covering it in plastic like the Burlington on 183. This store needs to consult with 183 and get some tips on organizing. I purchased a light weight jacket at 183 and they kept it on the hanger as you see in the pic

The dress I originally planned to wear did not work out, so I ordered another one. It's technically floor length, but I'm 5'10" so it stops at the ankle instead of covering my feet. So now the shoes have to be stunning enough that no one will even notice the hemline. I ordered a pair on Amazon that were supposed to arrive Friday. Then I got the dreaded update that they were delayed to Saturday... at 10 PM. Well, that's not going to work. So I made the mad dash to Nordstrom Rack Saturday morning. I walked in with low expectations, fully prepared to hit multiple stores before finding anything close to what I needed. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school.

This NR has been around at Gateway between Container Store and Whole Foods in North Austin since 2009, the first to arrive in our region. The focus is apparel, accessories, and shoes, with a little bit of cosmetics, body care, and travel supplies on the floor. Our family has been shopping here for years as a reliable, low-hassle source of decent wardrobe staples for the business casual office, last minute travel, or special events. I personally loathe the mall and massive department stores, so NR is my choice when I need to get in, get what I need, and get out with no distraction or delay. My husband loves coming in here for high quality dress shirts & shoes, and he especially likes the speedy on-site alteration service. If you enter the Fitting Rooms area, at the back of the men's aisle on the right, you'll see someone sitting at a sewing machine, hemming away. Be sure to join the Nordy Club to "rack" up rewards for purchases. See what I did there? Lately I've been preparing for a summer trip to a cool climate destination, and I wanted to refresh some well-worn capsule wardrobe staples with some durable new items that I'll be able to wear for the next 20 years. It was so nice to be able to do this shopping confidently from the comfort of my home using the NR app on my phone, having access to the entire NR retail inventory, then having my items shipped for free to my local store for pick up (suck it, porch pirates!). If you do ship to store for pickup, skip the checkout line, and follow the big stickers on the floor paths that direct you to the Fitting Rooms for pickup. A team member will scan the code from your phone & go retrieve your items, which will be carefully packaged & wrinkle-free.

Their target audience is teens and young adults. Being a resident thrifter and consignment store connoisseur, my friends recommended I try Uptown Cheapskate located on Burnet Road in Austin, TX. The store is well-organized with placards delineating key sections of the store. Uptown Cheapskate carries vintage clothing, men and women's clothing and a variety of shoes as well as accessories. The store does not appear to be in "junk" mode as the pieces appear clean and presentable. Racks are sorted by type and style. While there was a Versace blouse displayed on the wall, I did not find any other upscale pieces. The brands tended to be more mainstream and not distinctly upscale designers. You can also sell clothes at Uptown Cheapskate. Bring in items that are in good condition and trending, and they will give you cash on the spot or a somewhat more in store credit. This is a great option for clothes sitting in your closet...waiting and waiting...for you to release them. Smile. Prices were reasonable, yet not deeply discounted. However, you could not tell this by the large meandering queue at the cash register. I picked up a couple of items to purchase and was then totally discouraged by the length of the queue, so I put my items back. Definitely will consider returning to Uptown Cheapskate at non-peak hours...
