Very clean store. Well stocked, and great layout! The employees are friendly. I come here all the time to buy candles and workout gear!

I knew better, but I went anyway and now I remember why…read more Two Stars. They had what I needed, but the experience was awful. I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

If you were looking for good value, you can always look at the app beforehand to bundle coupons to make your shopping trip the most efficient as possible

He acted exasperated because I had the gall to insist they find a solution to a problem they'd created, and told me I'd have to "cut my losses" (even though I'm fairly certain Target has a legal responsibility to provide proof of purchase?) Easy for him to say when it's not his money that's being lost. There was an employee, however, by the name of Kat who went out of their way to try and help in a patient and caring manner. So if you need something done at this target ask for Kat, because the manager, Adrian, will get offended if you ask him to do his job while he's literally on the clock.
