Wow, this MUST be a high theft location... Quality/Quantity - Not brands that I would normally shop, but had time to kill while my wife and daughter shopped at Sephora. I'm sure the had good prices, but you need to be able to find your sizes. Atmosphere - Huge location. Messy and unorganized. 2 floors. See pictures of all the departments. Service - N/A. Well strict security when you enter. Almost like the TSA??? Price - Inexpensive, but that does not matter as there was nothing I liked. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1972 with your 1000+ locations.

love shopping at Burlington! The stores always have great finds, but it'd be even better if more registers were open long lines can be tough sometimes. Hoping they can make checkout a little smoother!

I have been to this store many times . I never made it a big deal how they treat you walking in . Seems like your guilty walking through the doors . I notices when I had passed through and was looking around at backpacks downstairs, lost prevention was eyeing me for no reason I felt very uncomfortable. I walked upstairs to finish my shopping. As I was getting to check out at the counter I had the cashier hold my items to run back downstairs to grab a backpack I was eyeing . Once again lost prevention was dogging . I ran back up waited in line, the cashier scanned and bagged my items, I paid for my items and proceeded to walk out downstairs to the exit 6:20pm. As I walked to the exit and reach the lost prevention associate. I could tell the lost prevention associate was looking for something because he just grabbed my bag and dropped on the floor start ripping everything out and telling me that I didn't pay for several things. The lost prevention associate Made me feel like I was a criminal. I told had him that the associate upstairs bagged it. And I have a big bag. I spent $250. He's Mistakenly told me that I didn't pay for some shoes a backpack , these kid straws and a cheap car mount IT seem like he didn't know how to read the receipt. He should not be working his job if he does not know how to read the receipts, back to training with this guy. It took him ,a manager to figure out what I was missing. The cashier forgot to Check out, but probably 10 bucks worth of stuff. He was Accusing me of stealing shoes and other items like a backpack Straight up embarrassing and should be absolutely appalled by your associates Behavior on how to treat people, especially A customer who just spent that much money. No empathy or Remorse and stereotyping me , they held my stuff like I was some criminal. He had the nerve to pull the things aside that he thought I didn't pay for or tried to steal in his eyes and just gave me my stuff so I can just walk out. I was so offended. The Manger than check me out at a closed counter downstairs for the 2 items missed by the cashier. My problem was The way they handled the situation very unprofessional. The worst experience I've ever had shopping. Beware of this place, you will not have a good experience. I will be getting in contact with corporate on this experience I called the store at 1030pm to speak to the manager ,an associate answered and I asked for the Mangers name with in issue I had earlier. she told me she did not feel comfortable giving me her managers name and to call back after she returned from her break. I said and ask for who? She asked me what my issue was earlier . At this point I told her that it didn't seem like she was trying to help , she Straight up hangs up on me . I called back a couple of times with the associate repeatedly hanging up the phone on me . Absolutely. disgraceful

This is one of the most unpleasant shopping experiences I've ever had. - You have to go through some sort of security to get into the store. - Merchandise that is not hung is thrown about. It is difficult to find even a pair of underwear. Housewares section is pretty bad also. - The fitting rooms don't open when the store opens. - Never enough cashiers. Usually one, may two if there is a crowd. The line can get very long. - The store in neighboring Monrovia is better kept. Better yet, stick with TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Walmart. - For a while there was no bathroom access, even for customers. Now they allow it once you get a code from an employee. - On the plus side, you can find some bargains if you can tolerate the total disorganization.

Came through after dinner nearby, and while there was a lot to peruse, much of the items were disorganized/misplaced. My friends and I began to fill a cart on the first floor, only to learn that the elevators were inoperable, and had to remove our items to bring them to the second floor and transfer them to baskets. So take note, this location is not ADA compliant! We found some clothing items we wanted to try on before buying, and their dressing rooms were blocked off, and the lights were off. The final kicker - no restrooms for customers! Not a location I'd care to visit again.

1. This location doesnt have many things, there were no soap dispensers, and not enough kitchen appliances. Id rather make the drive to pico rivera than to shop here. 2. Adriana (black shirt) was RUDE. Staff member yelled out "THERES OTHER REGISTERS DOWNSTAIRS WITH NO LINE" girl its only me and the guy in the pic.. you cant take one person ? There was another cashier right beside her and she wasn't bothered by any of us. I also kept catching employee Adriana roll her eyes and maddog the people that were entering the line. Girl your position is cashier and you dont want to ring purchases??? Also who the heck would go down the escalator to purchase the items ? Im literally next in line? What is her deal???

Only two cashiers and one needs customer service skills
Leshel C.

Seriously why is there only 2 cashiers here. Been in line for almost an hour. The line is all the way in front of escalator. Finally, when j got to the cashier I suggested "You guys should have me cashiers" and she replied this is all the coverage we have today" with an attitude. No apology, no saying I will let the management know. The attitude! It's insane. She's not happy with her job and it shows how she treats people.

Yeah go in debt LoL

Umm, the place is cool...I guess. Not too much variety though. I honestly prefer the Burlington in Arcadia.

Miss Helen works MAGIC when it comes to QiPao designs. I was looking around for a QiPao to wear to…read moremy graduation and stumbled upon Brocade Apparel after multiple failed attempts of finding a well fitting, generic QiPao in Chinatown. I am very glad that I decided to come to Brocade to see Helen. I did not have an appointment, but Helen took me in graciously. Which she did not have to since she does state on her website that appointment are REQUIRED. I clearly did not read it carefully enough at the time. I told her where some of my insecurities were and she explained that QiPaos look best on people who have some extra meat and fluff to them and she was able to point on what type of designs would help accentuate my natural curves. She rushed my order a bit as I did not know that QiPaos that are custom takes a minimum of 3-4 months to make. I had the basic QiPao design and Helen added the sleeves for me although there is normally an extra charge to add sleeves to QiPaos. Please DO NOT throw away your receipt since you have to text that to her the day before the fitting so she can track your dress. I had a initial fitting in mid November and I received my dress about 3 weeks after since I had gained some weight and the dress needed to be altered to go up a size. In the end it all worked out and I had my beautiful, pure silk QiPao just in time for my photoshoot. Everyone who saw me in the QiPao could not stop complimenting me on the day of my photoshoot and the day of my graduation. I had never felt more confident in clothing than putting on the QiPao. I am so grateful for this experience with Helen in designing a custom QiPao. Also, expect that basic QiPaos are a minimum of $500 and up. If you want embroidery, I was told that it will be a minimum of about $1,000+. Prices are due to change based on the economy of course. Helen also informed me that she can design other clothing besides QiPaos and I had even noticed some wedding dresses in her changing room. I will definitely go back to Helen when I get married to design another dress. She also informed me her busy season tends to be from Jan/Feb until end of August as that is when Lunar New Year and Wedding Season is, so expect a longer turn-around time during that period.

Great service and beautiful qipao! She was extremely helpful and accommodating as we were from out…read moreof town.

I've been shopping at Tenshoppe since they first opened in Highland Park (even back when it was…read moreFashion 21 IYKYK). Big supporter of local businesses in my community. They have started to skew a lot younger so I mainly go for gifts. This holiday season I did the same. The sales person at the time of purchase mentioned that I had until Jan 10h for holiday returns. Today (1/4/26) I went in to return one item... from the moment I walked in the employee hanging out at the counter was displeased seeing me walk in with a bag & it showed. I was a retail manager for 4 years so I know how much we hate returns but I would never show it because that's customer service! Anywho I went in with my original receipt only to be told that because I didn't have a gift receipt I couldn't return it. I asked for an explanation because since when is a gift receipt better than an original receipt to get a full refund?!?? I couldn't tell you if the store policy sign was there when I purchased it or not but I KNOW I was never told or asked if I would need a gift receipt for a holiday return. Even so, receipt at hand, tags on, and item was in new condition. You would think that the manager would offer something like a store credit because the policy makes no sense. But no, she just had a smirk and cocky attitude. Lesson learned though, don't shop here ever again, supporting local business shouldn't mean buying overpriced clothes like a $32 basic white long sleeve.

I've been a loyal customer here for over 4 years and have done countless hauls -- this has always…read morebeen one of my go-to stores for current fashion. I really appreciate the wide variety of styles and trendy pieces they offer, whether it's for special occasions, parties, or everyday wear. The pricing is generally fair for the quality, and I've never had issues with items wearing out after just a couple of uses. I also like that they start a fitting room for you, which makes shopping a lot easier. That said, there are a few areas I think could use improvement. Size availability is a big one -- once an item sells out, sizes don't get replenished, which can be frustrating. On my most recent visit, I also noticed sizing has shifted to run much smaller than it used to. I'm usually a medium and sometimes a small, but I found myself squeezing into large sizes. This makes me worry about inclusivity, especially for shoppers who rely on plus sizing. Customer service is another area where I've consistently felt the experience could be better. The team often comes across as unapproachable or disengaged, like they're just there for a paycheck. While they are polite when you do ask for help, it rarely feels genuine or welcoming. It almost makes me question the manager's maturity and experience because why are they hiring these young girls without customer service skills? Is it because they pay very little? A little warmth would go a long way in making customers feel comfortable. Finally, the return policy could be clearer. While the store offers returns within 14 days, I once had an issue trying to return a holiday-themed item. Even though it wasn't worn, it was flagged as "special occasion" and not returnable. The only notice was a small sign at the register. Policies like that should really be communicated by cashiers at checkout so customers aren't caught off guard. I now warn friends to be very mindful about potential returns here. Overall, I still shop here often and continue to love many of the styles and finds, but I think with improvements in customer service, clearer return policies, and a stronger focus on size inclusivity, this store could truly shine.
