Yesterday I had a fried fish sandwich with crispy sweet potato fries and my husband had salmon in Romesco sauce on a bed of haricot vert and finished with bits of fennel on top. From the happy hour menu (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.), one of our friends had tempura shrimp, one had steak on skewers, and another had large shrimp in a beautiful sauce on toasted bread. We had chips and guacamole and shrimp dishes on the table and they were scraped clean! The food was so good that no one took leftovers because we ate everything! The chairs and bench seats are super comfy so if you're like our group, you're going to want to stay for a while. We kept moving around to talk with others in our group because it was like being in someone's house. The bartender and server were excellent. Nicole, our bartender, made a coffee martini that was better than what my friend expected. She realized that other bars served it wrong! I ordered Don Julio 1942 and they had it. My husband loved his pinot noir and another friend loved her fresh strawberry and mint drink so much that she ordered another! The head on my friend's beer was proper and that was nice. Everyone loved the drinks. Our server, Timiya was stealth. She took orders and even took pics for us with such quietness that the energy at our table was unbroken. As the person who suggested Burton's, I loved that I didn't have to worry about anything. Stephen Fithian, the manager, is really focused on making sure everything is smooth. Nothing gets past him, and judging from the professionalism of the servers and runners, that focus is on every level. Everyone at our table got the right drinks/food. We were welcome to enjoy ourselves - the server let us sit for a couple of hours before presenting the bills. I could not ask for anything more. We had such a great time that, while in the restaurant, my friends asked me to arrange another happy hour at Burtons. Will do!

Went Sunday of Labor Day weekend and it was not too busy but LOUD because there was a very large group that was having a good time. First, our server, YANEI was OUTSTANDING! We always like to engage with our server and she was just a pleasure, clearly raised right. Food was UNBELIEVABLE! My husband had Sashimi & Sushi and he enjoyed it, my BFF had the Japanese meatloaf bowl over wasabi mashed potatoes and she loved it and I had Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork which was to die for. We shared a ginormous slice of Carrot Cake as YANEI recommended and it was SCRUMPTIOUS! So many awesome items on the menu, can't wait to go back for a burger & fries and some ribs.

We had gone to the movies so we were looking for a late night dinner and we weren't in the mood for our normal go to, Flannigans. They were busy, but not packed. I will say that they had a singer and it was VERY loud, but he was great so we weren't disturbed by the volume. There is a lot of choose from - everything from burgers to sushi. We decided on a starter of spicy edamame. Sometimes I find it too spicy for me so we got the sauce on the side. I was happy we did. My husband loved the heat - me not so much. The edamame was cooked perfect - better than some Asian restaurants! Not overcooked and nice and warm! I had the cj black burger with fries. It was huge and I took most of it home. The fries were also good. My husband had a chicken sandwich. He opted for sautéed veggies. I knew he'd be eating some of my fries too. The veggies were very good. Our server brought me a to go container and pointed out the bottom of the to go container which in all the years I've eaten at restaurants I've never had a server actually tell me that. I loved and appreciated it - especially since the top had vents so there wouldn't be condensation! All in all we enjoyed our meal. Service was pretty good and we will definitely be back.

We immediately started with the chicken lettuce wraps. In my opinion it's a little pricey at almost $18 but it is enough for 2 people to share. We then had the crispy chicken tender platter. This comes with two sides- French fries and Cole slaw which I switched for a Caesar salad. I was disappointed I only got two tenders lol and the chicken had too much batter, but the entire entree was a big portion! Our server was great and the music playing set the mood for a fun ambiance. The food quality has been consistent at this location and the other locations I have been too as well. Not to mention they have a great brunch!

Naked Farmer is in Sunrise and offers some fresh food for dine in or on the go…read more The first time I had Naked Farmer was in Tampa and was so excited when I learned that they had a location in South FL to try. We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. Very thought through and intentional on their behalf. Loved Naked Farmer and would definitely get again if I'm in the area or craving something fresh!

And the place is brightly lit and seems to be really clean. On this day, I decided to try the roasted chicken. I believe it was supposed to have some type of rosemary on it. I'm not sure what's going on these days but it seems like most places are cooking chicken when it's still frozen. It just had that cooked from frozen texture to it. It was tough and bland. I tried the macaroni and cheese, which I did like and the carrots, which I also did like, both solid sides something I would get again. I was able to get the kale Caesar with my plate, which I thought was excellent. It had the right amount of dressing on it. I do plan on returning to try the salmon. Hopefully I have a better experience with that.

One of us had special requests for her meal, no problem. One of us rolled in 5 minutes AFTER everyone else had arrived and ordered their drinks already, again... no problem. Faith is a superstar. Every dish was perfect, and the huge portions made for an outstanding presentation to the one of us who'd never been here before. Plus! The martini sidecars were a big hit.

We walked in without a reservation, and they were able to accommodate us. It definitely got busy as the evening went on, but the service remained great throughout our meal. Most of us ordered the steak and fries, while a few swapped the fries for baked potatoes. The steaks were cooked well, the fries were amazing, and overall the food was VERY good. We also ordered the artichokes to share. I'm not usually an artichoke fan, but I tried them and was pleasantly surprised! And the dessert... SO GOOD. We had the white chocolate cheesecake, and it was easily one of the highlights. Their whipped cream is made in-house, and you can definitely tell. We also had drinks with dinner and really enjoyed those as well. My only two small critiques were the atmosphere. There was a slight lingering smell inside--not necessarily moldy, but possibly from the humidity and the carpet. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of carpet in restaurants for that reason. We also had one persistent fly that kept making its way around our table and food, which was a little annoying. That said, the restaurant itself appeared clean. One thing I would LOVE to see them add is fresh bread! This just feels like the kind of restaurant that should bring out a basket of warm, fresh bread while you're waiting for your meal. Overall, I'd give the experience about an 8.5-9/10. Great food, great service, delicious dessert, and a nice dinner for our first night in town. I would definitely come back!

The only thing that is very tough to find around here is the parking because half of the lot is valet parking and the other is shared with businesses around the restaurant. Once I found parking I was greeted by somebody opening the door from my wife and I and as soon as we walked in we were basically jumped upon to make sure that we were having a good afternoon so far and if we needed any help. When we said we were getting it to go order they were very quick with calling on the radio to get our food picked up. I really enjoyed the open wall concept to where I could watch the kitchen and everybody cooking the food while I waited. Once we got our order and left I couldn't wait to start eating. We got a steak and the octopus appetizer. The octopus appetizer was absolutely phenomenal but I will say it is a little pricey for what you get. The flavors of the octopus and the texture was out of this world though! The steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare and was massive! The seasoning that they used and the charring on it was impeccable as well. I had leftovers from the steak for a couple days because of how big it was . Overall an amazing place and one that I am excited to go back to again!

Service was great, but I don't feel for the price they gave enough food.
