We order BurgerFi through Doordash and it arrived super fast. We ordered 5 burgers but only ended up receiving 4. This may have been a Doordash issue but seeing as we paid for 5 we assume it was more of a in restaurant issue. I got a normal cheese burger which was good, my colleague got a beyond burger and said it was also quite good. I had my first BurgerFi experience. It wasn't nearly as bad as some of the reviews were written. The staff at the counter were nice and pleasant. They were wearing hair nets, which was noted by a reviewer. I got my order to go. Regular Burger Fi with cheese and fries. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my order. The food was hot. The fries were tasty. I appreciated that they didn't salt the fries. Other burger places over-salt the fries to the point you can't eat them. The burger was tasty, but rich. Very juicy. Just left the restaurant in Columbia, MD highly disappointed. Ordered the vegetarian (Vegi Fi) and got served beef burgers and i realized after had taken my first bite and swallowing it. Stopped my wife from taking the bite. Brought it to the attention of the person who served us the food and his words "did you not know it was beef by the look of it"? What? He reiterated that it was my fault that I didn't realize sooner that it was beef? What a pathetic way to address a customer after making a huge blunder of serving meet you a vegetarian. The server claimed to be the manager after I asked for one. I asked to just cancel the order and give me refund and he did minus the beer which I had barely drank. We asked out disappointed. Definitely wanted this to be better, my kids enjoyed their meals but I was disappointed. When I give an order and detail it with the cashier it should come back the way we agreed. Mistakes happen but if I ask for no cheese and I bring the sandwich back to prove that this isn't what we ordered together don't take the sandwich and scrape the cheese off. I could be allergic to the cheese. Throw it away and give a new sandwich. This disappointed me, I should have been given a new sandwich, hope the policies change in the future. read more

Terrible experience: We ordered our food online but there wasn't an option to request that the burger be cooked well done so, we tried calling them multiple times but no one answered. When we got there, we were completely ignored the entire time. After waiting and waiting, we picked up our order that we saw on the to-go shelf with my name on it. Some of the order that we placed was messed up with an item missing that we paid for. The burgers were terrible and the customer service was appalling. I usually order by app and pick up. This time the app updated, but would not complete the order. I showed up at the store and had to wake up the cashier from his phone. I got no acknowledgment from him when I mentioned the problem with the app. To add insult to injury, they did not have shakes, probably because he was already cleaning the machine at 9:15 pm. Unsanitary and overpriced. This was our first time trying BurgerFi and we definitely will not be back. I was excited to try the chocolate shake. When I tasted it, it is probably the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. It must have been made with spoiled milk. It looked like a fine shake, but tasted nothing like chocolate and was completely sou. Additionally, the health code violations were through the roof here. The person working the front was handling both money and food. They then proceeded to remove their hat and scratch their head with their glove on and continue to make food. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention, when we arrived we were the only ones in line and waited for about 5 minutes before being helped due to only one person working the front. Had a tough shift and was really craving a burger. Looked up open burger places nearby and found Burgerfi. Placing the online order is very easy. Came to pick up order and by experience from some food places, I've learned to check my food before leaving the place. I ordered the urban fries which I actually paid extra for and got regular fries instead. When I told the girl and showed the receipt that I paid extra for the Parmesan, herb and aioli. She said they were out of herb, and that she could refund me the extra. I don't understand why they didn't just do that in the first place. Like hey we're out of toppings I can just give you extra aioli or do you want a refund. Instead she handed me staple closed bag and was just going to let me leave with the wrong order. It's not like they were very busy. I was the only one there picking up my food ordered an hour and a half before they were closing. When I asked well can you just put the Parmesan and aioli on it, she said we're out of Parmesan as well, but they have aioli so yay. The CEO burger looked like a double cheeseburger. I had to hunt for the bacon tomato jam inside, unlike the picture they have advertised. I was starving, exhausted and just turned off with the way the order was handled. Burger was okay. The good: They have an excellent hotdog with lots of flavor, good toppings, and it tastes like a good hotdog you'd get in New York. The concretes and milkshakes are good as well. I especially like that the concretes are small so I don't feel like I've over indulged. The bad: For a place called "BurgerFi", the burgers are disappointing. Most of the taste comes from the toppings, which are plentiful and well thought out, but since I ordered a burger, I'd like to taste some beef. read more

Severely underwhelmed after my first (and last) visit last week. I paid about $22 for a burger and fries which is absolutely ridiculous. The burger patties were about 1/4" thick and flavorless. I wouldn't be surprised if the patties are packaged and frozen based on the shape & flavor. i got the swag burger which was not good at all. Went in on 9/10 first time customers. The floor was sticky in the ordering line-we notified the cashier he apologized for the floor, the floor at the booths were dirty and sticky actually the whole floor was dirty and sticky-maybe change what you are cleaning your floors with, no tea available-you could run to BJ's/Costco to get that, the automatic soda machine was out of almost everything so no way to get a non carbonated drink. Paid $40 for a beyond burger,veggie burger, fries, and onion rings. Both burgers were luke warm, I could get a better and hot beyond burger from Burger King... the veggie burger was good but again it was not hot the cheese didn't even melt on it-I asked the cashier if it was made in house he said yes but I think it came out of a box and was microwaved or kept in a warming drawer. Fries were not hot but the humongous onion rings were hot unfortunately they had no flavor/seasoning just onion and flour batter. I watched a female employee come up to the front on her phone with her air-pod in her ear-I guess things are different now when it comes to customer service. Unless they had a mad rush at 4pm on a Saturday I don't see why as a first time customer things were this way. I came, I saw, I ate but won't be back. Ordered through grubhub for 6 of us were on our way back home to NY from Myrtle Beach and we were missing 2 burgers and fries. The food was also soggy and almost cold. So we tried calling 7 times and each time it just rung and then asked for a code. Figured they may have been closing or something so I searched their closing time and it's 11pm. it's 8pm right now. The burgers were alright. Nothing sensational. The chicken tenders and sauces got this review from a 1 to a 3. Honestly I don't usually make reviews like this but I felt like I had to. First thing I noticed was the entire floor space was slippery, like they weren't using proper floor cleaner to clean, or something. Even if you have a dirty kitchen, a floor won't be slippery all the way from the front of the store to the soda machines. Next thing was we didn't get our fries for our two meals. Finally, 1 of the 2 sodas we got was clearly low on syrup. It seems like these problems indicate a problem with the fundamentals of running a restaurant. read more
