It's in a shopping center anchored by a Mexican grocery store. The restaurant itself is pretty much the same as the one near us as far as size and decor. It does have more tables. She chose a tacos birria, which she enjoyed in Odenton. She said they were just as good here. I was unable to get carnitas in Odenton, but I got a carnitas bowl here and it was good. I would have like a little more meat, and for the meat to have a little more spice. But the rest of it was fresh and it was all quite tasty. Plus it made 2 meals at home since it's such a large bowl. The service was pleasant; order at the counter and the food is brought out. It was quick and hot. Plenty of parking that's free.

The way it's set up is you look at the menu and then order at the counter. They then bring the food to you. I got three tacos and two pupusas. While waiting for my food, piping hot, beautiful entree dishes were being delivered to other tables. I need to return to try more. My food was great and my friends enjoyed theirs too. The only thing that I didn't love was that they don't have complimentary cups of water. You can either bring in your own water bottle, or pau $1.75 for one of theirs. They have other beverage options but I'm a water fan, personally.

Let's start with the beans... finally, real beans! Thick, creamy, flavorful, and not swimming in water like you find at so many other places. It sounds like a small detail, but trust me--it makes all the difference. The crema? Fresh, rich, and delicious. Again, not watery or runny. You can tell they take pride in using quality ingredients instead of cutting corners. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the plantains were sweet and caramelized just right, and every bite tasted homemade. Now... let's talk about the pupusa. I've eaten pupusas all over the DMV and in many different states, so I don't say this lightly... this is one of the best pupusas I've ever had. The masa had the perfect texture, the filling was generous, and the flavor tasted authentic from the very first bite. Here's the funny part... I took a few bites and immediately thought, "Nope... this is way too good to finish here." I asked for a to-go box because I wanted to enjoy the rest for lunch the next day. The gentleman helping us smiled and even brought me an extra bag of curtido without me asking. That small gesture made my day. And yes... that pupusa was just as incredible the next day! The restaurant itself is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with colorful murals that make you feel like you've taken a little trip to Central America. The staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely happy to make sure we enjoyed our meal. If you're anywhere near this area, do yourself a favor and stop by. And if you're an hour away like I am... it's still worth the drive. Great food has no expiration date on distance, and I can already tell you I'll gladly make the trip again just to work my way through the rest of the menu. Thank you, Delicias Dayana, for reminding me what authentic homemade food should taste like. I'll definitely be back... probably sooner than my waistline would like!

The fajitas can be ordered for one or two people, and my husband and I opted for the serving for two. The steak, sautéed onions, rice, and beans were generous portions. However, there were very few sautéed bell peppers and not enough tortillas for the amount of filling. I could have asked for more tortillas but chose not to. Our friends also enjoyed their entrées. Our consensus was that our server, Daniel, could have been more attentive. He didn't check on us as often as we would have liked when we needed refills or additional items, and our used plates accumulated on the table before being cleared. Better table maintenance and more frequent check-ins would have made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Before I left for Texas, I would always crave the chicharones and yucca here. My kids and I would plan our errands around the area, so that we could have a good treat from the truck. Now that I'm back, it did not disappoint my fond memories! I was literally ordering chicharones and yucca at 9:00 am in the morning on a cold wet rainy winter morning! It was easy to order, hooray for pictures, if you want to pick something else. My goddaughters love the pupusas here too! They were here a few days ago and brought us some home, hot and fresh! That's what sent me down memory lane! Foodie cravings of crunchy savory porky perfection and the yucca fries that are always golden and crunchy on the outside and pillowy inside. The salad is on point and elevates the dish to be a little lighter and adds the crispy vinegary element that helps reset the pallet. And of course, I had to order decadent sweet plantains... my guilty pleasure. Did I mention this was at 9:00 am! There's literally school buses still out! But if I didn't eat it all, because of how generous the portions are, I can air fry all these Foodie treasures back to their best texture and temperature.
