I just got my Ars$ kicked!!!!! Wow, how I wish I could have tried every item on the menu!!! I ordered a DUI (secret menu item) I tapped out just over halfway into it. THAT just don't happen to this fat boy....... but the mountain of chili cheese fries SMOTHERED in 4different cooked meats did me in quick! my buddy ordered a burger off the secret menu also (he is the local) and I was jealous! How can you be jealous when your own hog trough is full??!!jealous that's all I can say. It looked so good as well!! As I stuffed my face, I watched every persons burger prepared and again, fat, full and still I envied each and every burger I wasn't bellying up to.... this place should be called: Gluttonies. If and when I return to Pico CA, this is MY spot!!!! read more

Alot of ppl in these comments rate it 1 star of any little inconvenience, this place is good for what you pay for, good seasoned fries, burgers that fill you up and many options to choose from. Pros: + Staff is cool Cons: - Burgers sucked - Feta was bland Just your plain ordinary burger joint. Went in because a friend recommended it. Ordered a burger and chili cheese fries with extra cheese and feta cheese. The feta was that bad kind that doesn't taste salty at all. The fries were decent. The burger was normal. Not a terrible place, but I prefer the Carls Jr across the street to be honest. Won't be coming back here. read more

They are allergic to getting an order correct. Either they give you someone else's order or give you expired soda that tastes bitter or just forget something entirely. Idk her name but it always happens whenever the woman with tattoos is taking orders. Foods good when it's correct read more

I can't believe I've never review this place. My family has been coming here for years and they cannot be best for a good burger, salad, tuna melt. The service is usually great. You may have to wait a bit in the line for the take out window but I never complain the food is awesome. My go to is a bacon avocado burger lettuce wrapped read more

The hard shell taco was terrible, salty meat and the tequitos look and taste like boxed frozen tequitos I could of bought from the market and microwaved myself. Very disappointed in the food. At least the zucchini wasn't the worst I've ever had, but definitely not the best. I gave 2 stars only because the girls in the drive thru were friendly. read more

Today I went to burger stop. My husband and I to get some lunch I got a grilled chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. We took it home and when I opened my sandwich and took a bite a worm fell out of my sandwich into my hand. I was so grossed out . I was screaming for my husband . So my husband went back to burger stop to tell them about the worm in my food and the manager didn't seem to care . They did give me my money back but they didn't really care. This is my first review ever, I live fairly near Burger Stop so I visit often , I've received all types of bad customer service there, Ive even seen the employees and owners verbally fight each other while there "working" and customers where present... but today I just had enough! My bf brought me here for breakfast on a Sunday. We had pancakes and French toast , the prices are so cheap I couldn't believe the huge portions for so little money . They are popular for their burgers which look delicious and have to come by and try it. We liked the good very much, the staff was friendly and the service was quick. The place is yay but they take orders and they come out at a timely manner. I would definitely come again and try the rest of their delicious food. read more

The incompetence of this place is unbelievable. I ordered two meals and they not only get the individual items wrong...for both of them, they charge me for three meals. When I ordered I asked for milk and they said we don't sell milk. As I'm about to drive away they ask me if I want milk. Ordering two meals isn't that difficult. They repeat the order back when they take the order yet they screw up the order big time. read more

This place has been remodel so it looks pretty nice here. They upgrade to a fancy tV menu. This place is never busy every time I come here. My boyfriend introduced this place to me and his favorite food here is the DUI (cheese fries w/ pastrami, carne Asada, gauc, sour cream, And pico) FYI there portions are huge!!! My boyfriend ordered the chili burger (had to request for cheese, addition charge) combo, it includes fries and a drink. There fries are amazing, it's very thick and crispy. I prefer fries on a thicker side and they sprinkle some seasoning on the fries which was really good. I ordered the mushroom burger by itself. I was kinda bummed that it didn't include cheese for a burger that cost 5$. I was craving for cheese so I asked them to add cheese and I didn't mind paying additional, they were really nice to added for me without charge. 1 Star was off because of so much juices in my burger that at the bottom of my buns they were soaked and soggy. I hate soggy bread and I had to ripped it out. I think the reason why it's so wet was the mushroom, they should fix and try to figure a way to get rid of the mushrrom juice so the whole burger wouldn't be soggy. Our food came out pretty fast and hot. The taste was pretty good. Their food is very messy so get lots of napkins! read more

horrible service always through drive thru the girls are always so rude I don't know why I even keep giving this place a chance other then it's close to home. Tonight was the icing on the cake though I ordered a plain grilled patty that was thin as paper and got charged $5 then my bf got a avocado cheeseburger and the patty was paper thin all lettuce and bun I do not recommend this place at all it's over priced for what you get read more

In 30 years of eating at restaurants, this trash bin with a drive through they call an eating establishment is by far the worst place I've ever eaten at. As you can see in the picture the food looks like they serve you meat thats burnt and over cooked from the day before. Little hard rocks are the chucks of beef. The horchata taste like its been sitting all month and sugar was added. Absolutely terrible. I'd rather suck a homeless man's toe than to ever eat here. Even if it was free I'd never eat here. Even if you paid me 10,000 bucks I wouldn't eat here. This place should have not made through the pandemic. Miracle its still running. read more

I ordered the family burger special that comes with 5 burgers, 5 fries and 5 drinks for $25+tax. The burgers were really tasty and well put together. I also loved the fries because they were lightly seasoned. I would definitely come back. read more

This review is for the drive thru only. The drive thru always takes a really long time to get through but this last time on 8/9 i was asked to hold, I waited 8 mins and still no one was available to take my order. The cars behind me we're getting upset thinking I wasn't moving up, so I then decided to leave and eat somewhere else. I recommend you Don't come and get trapped in the drive thru lane if you have somewhere to be. read more

I honestly love the food here, but you always get served a side of attitude from the drive thru ladies. The older and younger ones, they are all rude. Maybe its a requirement during the hiring process, because if so you nailed it. I would probably go there more if they weren't so rude and actually new what items were sold on the menu. read more

Came here for a easy dinner. Ordered my son a plain hot dog and once we got our food, we noticed it was a chili dog with onions. We notified the cashier and she apologized and told the cook. He then got angry started yelling at her and slamming stuff down. Then he told us that's all they make is chili dogs not plain hot dogs. So take the chili dog. We then asked for a refund because my son is picky and would not eat that. He did more slamming and yelling at the cashier and then made our hot dog. At this point we just wanted to get out of the drive thru and get home. So when we got home we noticed that the hot dog he gave was burnt to a crisp. Never ever coming here again! read more

We've been coming here for years and the food is great, but one of the cooks (Johnny) just upgraded the recipe for their ground beef, and it's fire!! I got the nachos supreme (my favorite) and the new recipe just took it to the next level! Good job Johnny! Also great customer service. Didn't take a picture cuz it was gone in a flash lol. Oh and the owner is great too, he has a brother who owns Burger Zone in El Monte, which is good, but This place blows them out of the water! 5 stars. read more

... had been about a year since I last visited. the vibe here was off: staff clearly irritated, attitude during ordering process, etc. decided to give it another go around and noticed some new voices/faces right away and they were waaaaayy more courteous and inviting, which made a huge difference for me! ordered via drive-thru and encountered a pretty long wait, but that's ok. turkey burger and fries were both fresh and good! way to step it up! read more

The cooks do not wash their hands before cooking the food. Was there last night and one of the guys was holding a dirty bucket used for mopping then he got an order and went straight to touch the bread and patties. Pretty gross. read more

We always eat here because it's our favorite burger joint. But 2 days ago,I decided to make burgers for the kids but the bread was spoiled and we were by Telegraph rd,so i figured I can go by Chris Burgers to buy 4 buns only and these thieves wanted to charge me $9.40 I was like wtf!! So I drove to Burger Stop on Slauson ave to ask there. With no hesitation the owner Mike told his employee to give me the bread at no CHARGE!! I was willing to pay up to $5 for it. That's why I recommend this place.. The food is great and the prices are affordable..Thank you guys very much!! read more

Went in for a pastrami special and the lady was going to give me a cheese burger special. She didn't understand English. She told me it was $19.60 so I handed my card. She then charged my 21.80. I asked why she said one thing then charges me a different amount. She got upset and made a stank face. The manager came so I explained to him the situation. All he said was she was confused. He defended her when it's was her error. People like this should not be doing fast food service. Go to Chris's or Sam's burgers instead. Food is way better! So I gave been going there for a couple of years and it's always for the 5 pack family meal. It is always Karina that helps us and she is really cool. We always tend to go 20 to 25 minutes before closing, but she makes sure the food is great and correct. Although, it's almost closing time our food is fresh and doesn't look like we are getting leftovers. Thank you for being friendly and even though it was probably a long hard day, she doesn't take it out on customers. read more

I have been coming here for many years not sure if they have new owners but this was not the usual experience First got charged 10 dollars extra for a family pack of burgers that i caught and brought to their attention they said i was double taxed which didn't make sense so they re did the order and i upgraded 2 fries for onion rings and was charged extra 4 dollars even though they actually cost about 50 cents more if i bought them individually So I get home and i have 4 hamburgers instead if cheeseburgers and 4 fries that were stale and overcooked. Call them up and they said my onion rings are there if i want to go back my order was mixed up. Onion rings were soggy and greasy Lets just say i won't be going back there and its sad because i used to love the food the hamburgers looked sad onions were very thin n small and lettuce was old too read more

Bad customer service. I called to ask , at what time they stop serving breakfast and whoever answer said at 1p.m. Got there at 11:30. So at the time of ordering the older lady said there was no breakfast . But they had hash browns on the grill and which it seemed to be cooking breakfast meals. Her attitude was so rude. Very, Very, very Rude Stuff. They don't know how to speak or represent the Customer Services. The Cashier, a Lady, was talking very Harsh and using acute tone. Who knows, perhaps she thought that I was working for her. Then, I asked for a pepper, and one of them, a male with grey hair maybe in his early fifties, started to show me his very Low Customer Services and using Sarcastic tone saying.... "Well, the papper comes folded with the spoon and the knife, and we can't give you more pepper" He added saying, "That is the Governor orders!!" Ok mister grey hair wise guy, I asked only for a pepper, and you started talking about Politics. What is the connection between the Pepper and the Governor??? Anyway.. They are working and making money. But at least tell them what does it mean...... Good Customer Services.. read more

Me and my sister started coming here more often after discovering they have GARDEN BURGERS (cheeseburgers with veggie patties - no meat). Their garden burgers are a good size for the price and their fries are always fresh and well seasoned. The line can take a bit long, but thats okay considering the food is always warm. My sister and I also love their grilled cheeses. They're greasy and cheesy, the way we like them. Customer service is usually pretty good also. read more

I've been here twice, the first time bcz I saw it on Mexi-Papa. But I wasn't impressed, mainly bcz the lady at the window was SO RUDE. I left a comment on Instagram and it was deleted. I decided to give it another chance today and only got a cheese burger. The same rude lady (no personality) was at the window. I ended up at a little food court that had a few solid looking options, but sometimes when you see a burger and smell a burger, you simply need to eat the dang burger. There was no line when my wife and I approached the window to order and we ordered a double cheeseburger, a grilled cheese, an order of fries, and a milkshake. Now, instead of simply giving us the price the dude working told us how it was going to take a really long time because he would have to make the burgers and the milkshakes, which ya know, is kind of how it works when you order food. So instead of questioning his logic, I just said forget the shake and ordered the food. The food took literally 8 minutes to come out and I can't imaging the milkshake would of caused that much trouble since they are ordered all the time, but who am I to say? The food was great, as For The Win always is. The french fries were great and so was my burger, but the lackluster interaction with the kid working really put a damp on the experience. Overall, For The Win is still my favourite burger chain in LA and it's going to take a lot for someone to knock them down (although Burgers Never Say Die and Irv's are up there too). Maybe one day, I'll even get to try a milk shake! Hopefully you have a better time ordering then I did.

You order at the counter and they will bring your food out. Decent amount of seats inside and outdoor on their patio. There is a full bar and they have TVs everywhere so you can catch major sporting events and in the weekends it's a nice energetic vibe. Its not the place to get a craft cocktail or high end spirits if youre looking for that. Definitely family friendly and chill spot to hang out.

As I growing up this place has always been my favorite place to go as I walking home and this place has been around over 30+ yrs now.. the food has been very good in the past and nothing has change except for some employees. Here has been my always to go place.. Glad I came back and revisit my child hood place.. Service here people is very friendly and they have workers that has been here over 15+ yrs as well. I then told him it was my first time and looked at the menu. I then asked him if there was a favorite burger and he quickly said "argentine" and just stood there again. He took my order and honestly it seemed like he was checked out or zoning out consistently. The order then took 20 mins to complete and it was To Go. I also was hearing as the lady cooking the food was just slapping the burgers on the counter as she finished them, without any care or decency. When I looked at my order I saw the fries were just in small paper boats covered with another paper boat, not something I expected for $6-7 for fries but I digress. First off, I got 3 burgers and 2 fries plus 2 Brazilian lemonades. While I was paying the screen gave me the option to enter my phone number and register to save points, well I wasn't even done registering when the cashier just processed the order and asked me to pay. I told him I was trying to register my phone and if he could get the option up again and he said no I can't. So he just said I had to pay for it and that he was sorry I couldn't get the points. This was extremely rude and felt rushed. I was the only person there ordering too and I told him it was my first time being there so I didn't appreciate the fact that he did that and didn't offer to fix the issue. Secondly, the lemonade was disgustingly bitter. It was gross and I had to throw both out. It tasted like they had blended overripe limes into the drink and they didn't even bother to see that the limes had gone bad. The burgers themselves were honestly average even with all the different flavors or toppings. I got the Nashville, Guadalajara and the Argentine burgers and they all tasted the same. Nothing special and actually tasted quite flavorless. The only difference was that the Guadalajara bun was soggy due to the juices that leaked to the bottom and it tasted mainly like cilantro. The Nashville burger tasted like bacon and that's it. Nothing special. The Argentine one had some flavor in the arugula/chimchurri sauce but aside from that again, the patty was bland. The Parmesan fries lacked flavor and the bacon/cheese fries were just sad. It felt like the just microwaved velvetta on top. Luckily the guy at the register disrupted my registration process because I will not be coming back. If you want plain burgers you're better off going to BK or McDonalds down the street.

I went in on Monday for a quick pit stop during the lunch hour, it was very busy (which again, is a good thing) We ordered and shared our go-to meal, a Jim's burger and a DUI. The burger was fresh and tasty as usual, and the DUI was so flavorful. The fries were crisp, the pastrami was hot and flavorful, the chili was on point and the carne asada was excellent. Jim's burger gets it right EVERY TIME! Thanks again!
