I am sad today, because yesterday was the last time I will go to Burger Me in Reno. I placed a pickup order, decided to pick it up through the drive-through (which I always do), and had to wait over 10 minutes, because there was a car in front of me. You would have thought the staff would have asked the car in front of me to pull around to the front, and they would bring the order out to them (like Jack in the Box does), but they did not. Of course, the order was cold. In addition, I ordered 2 medium burgers: one was medium rare, and one was well done! Better get your act together. Great and fresh tasting food, large portions and friendly staff. Stopped in for a mid week late lunch to this mid sized restaurant with booths and tables, TVs (mostly showing current sports) and enjoyed a big dippa and fish sandwich accompanied by the garlic fries and onion rings. All of the food tasted great and was affordably priced. Seating was easy to find and although you order at the counter they bring the meal to your table. The garlic fries and rings were amazing!! Homemade ranch was the cherry on top! Restaurant was clean and plenty of parking. Small outdoor seating area available as well. read more

Overall lack luster. Think along the lines of farmers boys both ambience and quality so if that's your cup of tea this may be the spot for you. It's got a drive through, you order at the counter, food is served on a silver pizza tray and they call out your name. I had high expectations due to ratings and was definitely let down. I got the gyro burger which is listed as a "favorite" item, meat was good but burger was lacking in terms of sauce and cheese, there just wasn't enough. I was 3-4 bites in before I got my first taste of feta and the bun absorbed most of the tzatziki sauce . Also got garlic fries which I again would consider subpar. They use fresh garlic which is a plus but they either need to marinate or cook it longer because it still has a strong raw garlic burn fully over powering the Parmesan and make the fries one note in terms of flavor. Definitely order them crispy if you go this route. Overall decent place but nothing spectacular which is why I'm going 3 of 5. I wouldn't seek it out again because of other better options in the area but if it was convenient stop or I was on a time crunch I would eat here again because the service was fast and better than a McDonalds. read more

Don't add avocado for $2, it's strait preservatives and totally ruined the flavor of my breading without chicken burger. Things I learned today, sleep on this one. So after finishing up at the Apple Store, across the parking lot, I wandered over by the theatre in search of some late lunch. I'd not heard of Burger Me before and knew not what to expect... WOW... was I ever pleasantly surprised!!! The young lady at the counter was polite and helpful to a new customer. It was 2 pm on a Monday and the place was pretty full... always a good sign. The burger was prepared fresh and as ordered. Best cheeseburger I've had in quite awhile. My wife and I stopped here after hiking in the area and we're pretty sure we've found our new favorite post-hike burger spot in Burger Me! The service from the employee we encountered was great. She was friendly and sped us through the ordering process. We both ordered cheeseburgers (both medium well) with a side of regular fries and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was great. As were the fries and shake. The burger had great flavor, was juicy, and cooked perfectly. The fries were salted just enough and had a great crisp to them. 11.18.23: I went to Burger Me! for the first time to have lunch and catch up with a friend. I love Patty melts so when I saw it on the menu, I knew exactly what I was ordering. I had that with garlic fries. My friend ordered the elk burger with sweet potato fries. Service was great and prompt and employees were friendly. The ambience was quiet, which was nice. The patty melt was pretty decent and the cook on it was great. My onions were grilled, which was positive. However, it lacked the distinct grilled flavor. My garlic fries were so good and I loved seeing all the fresh garlic on it. My friend said his elk burger was good and left it at that. He shared his sweet potato fries with me and I enjoyed them just as much as my garlic fries. Today it seemed the fries were the winner! read more

My boyfriend and I came to this location. We have eaten here before, but it seems like it's going downhill. I know they have a kiosk to order at, but we stood at the counter to order and the staff didn't acknowledge us. So, we did use the kiosk. They brought out our burger and fries and the fries were really dry. The burger had an off putting smell. We ultimately threw away our food. This is the only place in town that has gluten free burger buns and they have elk burger! The NV Elk burger is my go-to order, it's insanely delicious even without a bun! However, the truffle burger and portobello burger are delicious too! We can't go here without ordering the garlic Parmesan fries; they are the very best ever! I have never had a bad meal here so it's completely rational to make the 60 min round trip to pick up take out. It's the only burger my daughter will eat! read more

I have been a long time frequenter of this place. The sharlands and Robb Dr. location specifically. Not only bc it's close to my house. But also bc I like the quality of their meat. Real meat, great portion sizes. Not a flat something resembling a piece of paper but an actual something you can bite into piece of meat. Their drive thru can run on the slow side but it never bothers me bc I know my food is being cooked fresh to order. That is something I will gladly wait for. Burger Me! in Reno, the Shardlands location, has exceptional service and a menu that offers something exciting for everyone. I've had a Caesar salad there and it was terrific. So, there's truly something for everyone. The staff is also really attentive and friendly, making every interaction a joy. I've watched the management coach employees and they were super kind and effective in doing so. But enough about the environment; on to our favorite foods! The onion rings are a standout side, most outstanding for their crispiness and light breading. They're a perfect balance of both. Without fail, and we order them every time since we discovered their excellence, they're superb when it comes to flavor, crisp, size, and breading. The NV Elk Burger is a rare treat, though I prefer it medium rare. It's juicy and delicious, and the bacon and Swiss cheese balance out the lean meat with some fabulous flavor. I find it hard to not order it every time, but having tried the Smash Burger, I'm glad I resisted on that occasion. It's a phenomenal Smash Burger; crispy on the edges and as juicy as it gets, with a nice, sharp flavor to the fixings. The Dirty Bird sandwich is my wife's more sensible choice. It's got some fierce flavor to it, and has never failed to please. It comes out not too juicy, not too seasoned, and hits all the marks. A chicken sandwich that's well worth the mess, this one is worth the drive. We go here practically every weekend, and will enjoy continuing to do so. We stopped for dinner after seeing Santa at Cabela's. It wasn't busy and we were helped quickly. Kids loved playing a few arcade games before our food came, although the racing game was very loud. I have been back to Burger Me! a bunch of times now and have to add that fifth star, because I've had very great service and friendly people in the drive thru pretty consistently now. Also, they seem to have switched their credit card system so it is much easier to give the tip I want to give/a custom tip and not just be percentage. For whatever reason, I like it better - not a big deal but in the past I felt like it was too easy to accidentally tip a lot for unfriendly service. Most importantly: The food remains delicious! I've decided I love the garlic fries even more than the sweet potato fries and there is a perfect amount of garlic. Did I mention they have malted milkshakes? It's a pretty fantastic option to have, local and easy and so good! It's hard not to get them every time I go. They also have delivery but I haven't tried that yet...could be dangerous :-) read more
