Our boys' ice cream was accidentally made without the Oreos, and while mistakes happen, what impressed us most was how Tiffany handled it. She was walking around checking on guests, asked how everything was, and immediately made it right with a smile and a genuinely positive attitude. She also mentioned how hard the team works to keep the restaurant clean, especially the restrooms, and I have to agree the bathrooms were spotless and very well maintained. Tiffany was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. It's employees like her who make people want to come back. Great food, excellent service, and a clean restaurant. Keep up the great work, Tiffany and the Troy Culver's team!

Culvers 23 June '26 Order # 7709965429259 9:33:15pm…read more Cheese curds/marinara sauce x2 Small side salad/blue cheese dressing Spicy Chicken sandwich (basket, w/fries) Iced tea Onion rings Pint Chocolate custard w/ raspberry topping I like the food at Culver's but almost without exception there is a problem when I order it to go. Tonight, as is often the case, the side salad was in the bag on top of the hot food. If it had stayed there for the twenty minute ride home, it would have been well and truly wilted. I removed it but it was late, and dark, and I didn't see that the salad was also not fresh: some of the lettuce had black slimy bits. The raspberry topping was missing from the order. When I went inside the store to get the raspberry topping, the kid who was helping me tried to give me a packet of raspberry salad dressing. At least when I did get the actual topping there was a solid lid on the container rather than the dome lid with the large hole on top that seems to be Culver's default when it is ordered to-go (this makes NO sense to me when you're filling to-go orders: people need to get their food home without spilling it. Those dome lids are the next best thing to handing customers cups of topping without any lid at all). Just a little common sense and attention to detail would make me a happy customer. Sad to say, at the Troy Culver's I can't remember the last time all the items ordered were in the bag, or that there wasn't something wrong with the food itself. This all really makes me think I'd rather skip Culver's and just go somewhere else.

The floors are clean, the dirty dishes are not precariously stacked up on the receiving area, and the tea seems to never run out. If they did, I would simply ask to have them restocked. The rest rooms needed some TLC, however, all the equipment worked well as there was hot water available. I typically take people from my company here for lunches. I have found the cashiers to be courteous, and if they did not have an answer to a question, they have called over the manager and gotten an answer. I recommend this location and it seems to be popular with the hometown crowd.

We've been loyal customers of this Panera for years, but it's been slipping for quite a while --…read moreand today was unfortunately the worst experience yet. We stopped in this morning and were shocked to find no bakery items at all. Not a single pastry. They had a few bagels and some soufflés, but even those were labeled incorrectly. My husband ordered based on the label, only to receive something completely different -- not because the staff made a mistake, but because the signage was wrong. That's a basic operational issue that shouldn't be happening. To make matters worse, they had zero hot coffee. None. At Panera. How does a café run out of hot coffee first thing in the morning? It's one of the core items people come in for. This location used to be reliable, but the decline over the past couple of years has become impossible to ignore. Between the lack of bakery items, mislabeled food, and no hot coffee, it feels like the standards have dropped dramatically. Panera needs to do better. They also need to recognize restaurants don't close due to sales, they close due to poor customer experiences.

This review is long overdue…read more.. No trip to my hometown is complete without a visit to get a Spanish dog. The "place" has long since changed and I must admit I miss the old place down the road that no longer exists and hasn't for years...lots of memories there. Not to mention my parents and grandparents frequented that old Root Beer Stand. I do like the idea that when this "new" place was built years ago they added inside dining. Even the folks who grumbled and/or cried years ago when the old place was torn down liked the idea of indoor dining! Besides, depending on the mood, it is nice to eat inside, and the old place used to close down in the cold months. I've watched the prices go up over the years, but I keep coming. The taste has changed over the years as well, but I still keep coming. Well, there was a year in there when I stopped because of the recipe changing too much and that period when the hotdogs themselves were different. I do miss the old recipe, and they are using it, but I think the people who make it have a lot to do with it and employees come and go, so that special something is lost. The root beer is always super cold and delicious and mushrooms are normally pretty good. They have daily specials and I can honestly say that I've had everything on the menu, but the Spanish dog is the "go-to" item in my opinion. They still come to your car to take your order and bring your food to you if you pull up under the overhang. But it's not like the old days when you automatically got a tray and had to start up your car for them to come get your tray (trash, mugs, etc.)...I miss that. Now you take care of the trash, etc. and you don't get glass mugs unless you sit inside. Root beer tastes better in glass mugs...jus' sayin'. Although it's not as unique as it used to be, it's still a unique place. Be advised, when you stay in your car to order, they will take your card to run it inside. Be aware of this in advance, but it's safe. Aside from the area to place your order from your car and eat, there is plenty of other parking if you wish to eat inside. Just be sure to not park in the area where folks wish to pull up and eat (the overhang area)...make sense? And if you eat inside, take time to enjoy the décor. The black & white checkered floor sets the stage for the 1950s motif complete with a jukebox and cool bar perfect for enjoying a root beer float. There are restrooms as well. The staff is staff. Prices are a tad high, but it's worth it. Moreover, they stay open year-round. No matter how you slice it...a bite of a Spanish dog brings back memories for me...my childhood, my wild teenage days, friends, fond memories of family, and just some really good thoughts and vibes. And that is what keeps me coming back... Please note: The B-K in Piqua and the one in Troy are no longer affiliated from what I understand. So, please do not confuse this one with the one in Piqua. The food tastes the same, but different (for lack of a better term), and nearly the same menus. Try both and decide which one you like more! But remember, the one in Piqua is open seasonally.
