If you want to healthier option this is the way! What really set it apart was the combination of fresh toppings: crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, crunchy pickles, and red onions. Their signature sauce pulled everything together, all inside a lightly toasted sesame bun Their natural, fresh-cut fries were the ideal balance between crispy and fluffy. The restaurant is quaint and classical and has an interesting history as an old bank and rumored to be robbed by John Dillinger and the Dillinger gang. My wife had the Bruiser Burger which is their own spin on a standard black and blue burger. The speed by which my wife ate the burger, I knew it was more than standard. I had the daily special which was a Cuban Sandwich and a side of beer battered fries. The amount of meat on this sandwich and pickles rivaled many of the Cuban's I've had in South Florida. I only wished it was pressed using Cuban bread. I would still order it again if it was a staple on their menu. ¡¡DELICIOSO!! But are loaded with garlic and I was scared my child wouldn't eat her burger due to the garlic on it. She didn't like the garlic fries which would made me even more scared in anticipation. I cleaned most of the garlic off of the burger that I found and put it on a different plate before she noticed and thank god she was just fine. I'm sure other moms can understand my fear haha. Her kid burger was huge! If you have two kids you could probably cut it in half. I got the bourbon burger which was fantastic beside the yucky wilted lettuce on it. My boyfriend loved the Cajun, I like spicy food but it was far too spicy for my liking. The shake presentation was AMAZING! The toppings on the shakes made up for the lack of flavor. The beignet itself was delicious! The shake it's self lacked flavor. McDonald's vanilla has more flavor unfortunately. Same goes for the caramel waffle. The waffle on it was delectable, but the shake itself was average. Both shakes tasted like they were just vanilla with a hint of berry and caramel, maybe haha. None of us could tell. Also no fruity pebbles or trick we're mixed in with the berry beignet like states on their website. I wouldn't care about these minor issue if it weren't for the steep prices. $7 a shake, $10-$12 for a burger with no side, and $4 fries. I don't mind paying that but the item should be held to a high standard.

Great food, great service and Joe, who's probably the most personable and sincere owner I've ever come across, who shared some great stories. The icing on the cake was finding out he briefly lived near us in central NC. It really is a small world! I had a delicious reuben sandwich with perfectly grilled bread. My spouse had been craving a BLT and this one hit the mark. A generous order of fries rounded it all out. Good food aside, Joe was the highlight. He was happy to share some info about sites to see in Dayton, for future reference, a city he clearly loves. When we were leaving we looked for him to thank him and say goodbye, but didn't see him. To our surprise he suddenly appeared out the front door to chat with us a bit further. This was a first. To feel so welcomed by an owner, esp given how busy they were. It really made an impression on us. The next time we're in town stopping here is an absolute must! Many thanks, Joe, for your hospitality!
