This Burger King has greatly improved over the years. It is my favorite fast food in Key Largo! It is currently drive-thru-only, but even on a busy (3-4 cars in line) day, you are thru the line in under 5 minutes. The manager is always working and maybe that's why this BK has become so efficient? Burger King always has Money saving special offers, though not always posted on the drive thru menu. And they are not the items no one buys! They did have 2x $6 Whoppers. Now, it is 2x $5 quarter pounders! These are cheaper than you can buy the ingredients and grill them yourself. Being on keto, my friends are shocked BK is my go-to a couple times a week. 2X flame grilled quarter pounders with buns discarded are something like 3 grams of carbs! This one worker was so rude to me for absolutely no reason. As i was going to put my drink down, she gave me this incredibly rude, aggressive and uncalled for gesture on me, telling me to get the tray of food off of her while i was holding my drink. In the past we used the drive thru regularly for their grilled chicken salad. Sure, they were slow, sometimes out of ingredients, sometimes closed.....but it was workable. Then they got rid of grilled chicken. Then they got rid of salads completely. It's not like they don't have lettuce, tomato and chicken already, but can't offer salads ??? read more

Worst BK ever. They couldn't care less about their own hours. Twice staff stared at me 45 and 30 mins before the lobby closed and wouldn't unlock the door pushing everyone to drive thru. 1/2 the time food magically runs out around 8pm. One time they had no BURGERS. I hope the franchise owner is independently wealthy because their staff isn't helping make money or anyone eating there with good customer service. read more

Probably the worst Burger King I've ever gone to, but be aware that I'm reviewing this with full knowledge that this is a fast good chain, therefore 5/5 would just mean it's a really good Burger King. The place is a mess. Food everywhere, broken soda fountain, lack of condiments and napkins, etc. Ordered a burger and fries to tide me over heading back to Miami, and it came out cold. Asked for a new one, and the next one? Raw. I mean, moo-moo raw. My third was lukewarm, which I settled for, because at least it was cooked. I wasn't afraid that anyone spit in it because that would take too much effort on their part. My advice? There's a McDonalds 10 minutes south, just go there. I live here, and just tried again to go through the drive through. This is the third time this week I have tried to order lunch here. I'm done! These are the rudest employees I have ever encountered in a place of business. I tried to order but I couldn't here the lay because another employee was dragging garbage cans behind the speaker, so I just drove to the window. ( two cars in the parking lot, and one car behind me) The lady inside had the window closed and was just staring at me( I almost drove off after a couple minutes of our staring contest), she finally opened the window and in a very snotty way said my choices of what I had ordered. I apologize and explained why I couldn't hear her because of the employee dragging the garbage cans. I got a glare and she yelled at me my choices. I drove off. This is the third time this week I just drove off with no lunch because of the nasty attitude of these employees. read more

What a lazy piece of work the manager left on drive through tonight! I'd leave half a star if I could. I had issues with the app and NO ONE IN LINE BEHIND US and he pushed us through the whole order WITHOUT HELPING AT ALL then demanded the payment before we could actually finish any of the app transaction that made it cost double what it should have. He needs a coaching on customer service and patience. I'm glad to never come back to this BK in my life. It is top 3 worst service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. After lunch at Hobos we decided to enjoy a nice desert to take to the beach. Burger King is conveniently located right across the street. We are now more than 22 minutes into waiting for our ice cream. The staff seems to be moving at a snails pace, with little regard for the building queue. If you are a big BK fan this may be worth the wait, but if you are interested in a quick and unhealthy meal I would recommend checking out other nearby fast food joints. read more

Stopped because we needed the bathroom after a long drive-hours and hours. Do not stop here! Bathroom is empty of paper products and is super messy. We have been stopping here for years--finally said--Why bother! It is a difficult place also to get in and out safely with all the Keys traffic.We are going to look elsewhere. If I could give less than 1 star I would definitely do it. I came about 7 p.m and asked for 10 pieces of nuggets and 1 grilled chicken wrap. They gave me cold crispy chicken wrap(which I'm sure was an extra because of somebody's mistake) and 10 dry pieces of something which I can't call chicken nuggets. They were dry, rough and did't look fresh. I didn't find any chicken inside. The service was awful as well - the staff looked absolutely indifferent and didn't care for what they served. They seemed to me more like janitorial workers who wanted to spare the day. I got a nice heartburn after that food! I would rather die of starvation than eat again in such a crappy place. We should have listened to the 2 stars it already has. Driving back from Key West to Florida City we were desperate to find a quick drive through meal. Yelp says they closed at midnight, however, we sat at the window forever with staff never acknowledging us at 9:50 pm. My husband seen the guy look at us from the outside door and as we went to drive away he asked if they were still open. They guy said yea hold on I'll get someone so we backed back up to the speaker and still no one acknowledged us. We drove around to leave and the girl was just standing there doing nothing and looked right at us. If we could give zero stars we would. 1030 at night and the drive thru cashier told me the restaurant is closed, but yet they are advertised to be open till midnight. So I drove to McDonald's received my order promptly with great customer service. I'm not sure if this burgerking is under new management since last visit. But let me tell you about Edwin the manager! As we waited to use the restroom, it was amazing to see the manager walk around and ask the customers if they needed anything. Not only that but Edwin walked everyone's food to their table as if he were a waiter at Burgerking. It may sound funny but he went above and beyond. Our food was for takeout and though it took a little long for small items it was ok because he conversed and spoke to his employees to please go faster on the items. As with the previous review, if I could give this Burger King 0 stars, I would. My husband and I came down from South Carolina to spend the holidays, as he has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and has weeks-months left. We decided to spend Christmas in Key Largo/Key West, as this was how we spent the first Christmas we had together 8 years ago. We stopped at the BK in Key Largo, and upon entering, what appeared to be the manager, was on his cell phone while we looked over the menu, but stayed on it for close to 3 minutes while we waited! He took our order with disdain and we paid. I'm glad I walked up to see if our food was ready, because it was sitting on the counter getting coldER when I came up to the counter. The meal was aweful-at best-and gave me digestion issues (to put it politely!) within 30 minutes. I fought HARD not to be a completely rude customer and smear ketchup all over our table and the walls after the rudeness and just utter lack of customer service and level of decency for which our food was provided. And just circumstance(s) of our visit make this even WORSE! read more
