In A Nutshell: -London'a iconic luxury brand Burberry should be a staple in everyone's wardrobe. -You don't need much, just a splash of the checkered pattern will enhance your outfit. -The location at Valley Fair has been here for years. -It's always clean & organized. -Don't forget to ask about their private sales, which aren't advertised. Overall, the brand is timeless, grab a piece or more.

My beautiful new wallet! $550 before tax

I don't dress to impress so it's kind of annoying that I never get helped at when I walk into a luxury store (I mean, it's sales tactic). At Burberry though, I was quickly helped by Johnny and he was there with me the whole way while giving me space to think and answer my questions. Within 15 minutes of walking in, I fell in love with my continental wallet which I bought on the spot! Tax is pretty heavy here..not sure if it's cheaper in outlets (or if you can even find the style). However, service is great! Tips: -They have a 30 day return policy! As long as there is no sign of visible wear and tear. -Each item you purchase gets a full year of warranty! Any damages, bring it in to be fixed/cleaned! -10 cents charged for their reusable bags! Overall, Burberry has high quality items and really beautiful designs. I would not hesitate to come again!

    Closure defective. Won't stay closed.

My man bought me my first Burberry handbag less than a month ago. When we purchased the bag the staff was friendly and helpful. The manager explained the warranty and made me feel confident about the company standing behind there name. This was very important to me because of the amount of money that was spent. After a few days having the bag I noticed the snap closure in the front was constantly coming undone. I went and bought a smaller wallet just to be sure I wasn't over stuffing the purse which might have caused it to not close tightly. Nothing changed with a smaller wallet. Last night I went into the store to inquire about the issues I was having. The woman that helped me couldn't have been more rude and condescending. I explained the issue as she stood looking at me blankly and proceeded to show me how to snap my purse to close it. As if I didn't know. She told me she didn't see a problem and handed my my purse and said "show me" with attitude. Just as she said those words the manager shot a firm look he way and said he would be with me in a second. As soon as the manager finished with his customer, he went and grabbed to of the same purses from the shelves and we compared the closures. We both agreed very quickly that the closure was defective. He said he would be happy to send it under warranty for repair at no cost to me.. maybe t would take about 4-6 weeks for repair. He handled the situation very professionally.. But as I was walking out of the store I thought realistically the amount of time I have had the purse and the amount paid along with this being an issue from the day of purchase, why wasn't I offered an exchange for my purse vs the lengthy repair? Not impressed Burberry. I was hoping your name meant more than that.

I called 911 myself after the workers kicked me out.

*REAL ACTIVE SHOOTER EXPERIENCE* Pathetic, negative rating. Wednesday afternoon on 2-03-2021, I am here in store shopping and I hear there's an active shooter. I immediately panicked. The workers kicked me out and KIM told me to go to the parking rooftop ALONE. How would I know if the rooftop is safe?! There were a few cars around me with people already leaving with no clue that there is a shooter. I could not leave due to my car being across the mall. I acted in the moment. I am never shopping here again, they don't give a crap about the customers. This whole situation was unbelievable. I had to call the police myself, the fact that I was stranded on the rooftop while there's an active shooter???? This is very surreal. I was scared for my life. BURBERRY, YOU ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE LEAVING ME IN THE COLD WITH NO PIECE OF INFORMATION! YOU WORKERS ARE THE MOST INCONSIDERATE HUMAN BEINGS I'VE EVER MET! The security came and told us that they got the suspect afterwards. Shame on you, Burberry. You're quick to take my money, although you're quicker to kick me to the curb. The first photo attached is my phone call with the police that I had to make MYSELF because no police were found! The second photo is the helicopter flying to the mall, you have to zoom in a lot in order to see the helicopter. It was pretty high up. As you can see, I am hiding behind those poles and the electric box of some sort.

Burberry is my favorite designer brand and it never ceased to amaze me every time I go into their store. The store here in Valley Fair is well beyond average. Their customer service is amazing. They don't watch over you like other designer stores so you can freely look around an not feel that pressure to buy something. What intrigues me is Burberry's signature plaid pattern and colors. I love how you don't need a logo to tell it's Burberry as long as the colors are there.

She offered to take the clothes i liked to the register to speed up the transaction and ordered the clothes they didn't have my size in. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back! I would say the only downside is no mirrors in the fitting rooms and the cashier being on her phone. I didn't pay close attention to the labels at the time of purchase, but when I got home, I checked the composition and discovered that every single garment is made of plastic--100% polyester. I intend to return everything, as I have no desire to put plastic directly against my skin. The cashier seemed pleasant enough to me. I simply wanted to make my purchases quickly and without any hassle, but the local staff seems intent only on ignoring customers. Even though--being a Tuesday--it wasn't busy at all, I still had to wait for someone at the register to finally pay attention to me and be willing to ring me up!

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

The thing I love about shopping here is they seem to always have exactly what I'm looking for. They always have my last-minute amazing date night outfit or summer dress. I am pretty much guaranteed to find my next favorite pair of jeans for a steal any given day. A lot of my work wardrobe is from Bombshell. The only "cons" would be maybe the parking (during peak downtown busy hours or farmer's mkt), and I wish they were open earlier and/or later, but it's not unusual for a small business.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
