Immediately I was greeted with a smile and reassured that the discount was in affect. The staff offered assistance, but I politely refused, as I was only browsing. It didn't take long before I was inspecting several bags, still in denial, trying to decide which would best fit my needs. Eventually, I asked for assistance, as I was attempting to select the best color shade and leather texture of the same bag. Holly assisted me and suggested to bring out the rest of them from the back, so I can choose the perfect one. She brought out another four to choose from. Now that is customer service! Typically you ask someone to check for an item in stock and you're faced with resistance and laziness; not so with Holly and the Coach store. I made my purchase, and the bag was packaged with care. The store was well organized and kept neat and tidy. The sections were organized by style and type, making browsing effective and efficient. One minor issue was that the nearest mirror to the sunglass section was on the opposite wall, roughly twenty feet away. This should be easily remedied by store management. Overall, the customer service was personalized, helpful and the staff was not aggressive to make a sale. I would definitely return and shop here again (still shaking from my addiction).

It was pretty instant. As soon as I entered the order, one of the store associates was about to fulfill our order when we just told him that it was in our hands. So we didn't wait at all as it wasn't a busy day. He packed up our shirts and then just verified my order with my ID and we were off. S E R V I C E Returns was seemless and easy. Ordering online and pick up was also very quick. Again it's also because it wasn't super busy when we did our order so it was instantaneous. COS customer service later admitted that this requirement is not specifically stated in the published return policy. So apparently customers are expected to somehow know a rule that COS does not bother to clearly disclose. What made this worse was how insulting and incompetent the customer service was. The live chat agent, Tiara, told me there was no COS store at Valley Fair, even though I was literally dealing with that exact store. She only changed her answer after I sent a screenshot showing the store name, mall, address, and phone number. That came across as if I was being treated like I was mistaken or making it up, when in reality their own staff could not even verify their own store. Then COS admitted the store requires the original payment method to process a refund, while also admitting that this is not specifically written in the policy customers see. That is a hidden requirement, plain and simple. Customers should not be turned away and told to come back another day because COS failed to clearly communicate its own rules. This whole experience was a mess: disorganized store handling, clueless customer service, contradictory explanations, and wasted time for the customer. For a brand that wants to present itself as polished, this was embarrassingly sloppy. Do better.
