    Burberry Chicago is a flagship store, meaning they have the latest and more exclusive merchandise than other regular locations. I was told this is the 3rd largest Burberry store. To fit in with the beautiful Chicago architecture and to stand out amongst the shops on Magnificent Mile, this Burberry store building is a work of art in itself. It looks like a beautiful purse... One I would definitely buy. Burberry is my guilty pleasure of choice and I have been eyeing this Dark Birch Brown Check Tote for a few months. I have managed to resist because the location near me at South Coast Plaza cannot do the personalization in store, and then the online purchase would make me wait for a long time to get my purse. Thankfully for me, Ashley helped me with my shopping for the day and she informed me that the flagship location is able to get me my custom personalization ON THE SAME DAY. Wow. That temptation. So Ashley was kindly and patiently showing us around the store. There was so much inventory in this 5 story building (with 4 floors being retail). My local Burberry feels like half of their first floor. There were so many things to look at and add to my never-ending Burberry bucket list. Ultimately I gave into my temptation and got the purse! Ashley was so fun and informative, but she was never pushy on the sales. I got the space I needed to come to the decision on my own. Ashley confirmed the initials I wanted etched onto the tag: VD and sent me a text confirmation. She kept me updated the whole time so I was able to continue shopping on Magnificent Mile and come back when the purse was ready. The ETA was about an hour. It only took 15 minutes, but that's still nice not to wait around. When I got back to the Burberry store, Ashley was helping another customer so Christopher, the store Director, kindly stepped in to help me pick up my bag. He opened it so I could see my beautiful purse and even set up my bag for me to take my quick photo. The 5-star service continues. Christopher said they have something else for me and Ashley wraps up with her other customer so I was able to see her real fast. They gave me a stuninnnnggggg bouquet of red flowers. I felt so loved and valued as a customer. I will always look back at this purse and think of the amazing time I had with my friends in Chicago and Ashley and Christopher really helped contribute to my happy memories. Thank you Ashley and Christopher!

    I'm a huge fan of the Burberry brand so of course when visiting Chicago it is a definite stop. When walking in we were greeted right away by a lovely lady. She asked what we were looking for and when we told her she immediately went to what we requested. She was extremely thorough when explaining the different bags. One thing I would recommend for improvement is to give your customers a little space to talk amongst themselves. It feels very stalkerish but I get it, but there needs to somehow be a little more balance. I did purchase something and the process was very quick and overall a great experience.

    excellent customer service, we were in the store less than 15minutes with a damage of $2000, too funny! my boss got a crossbody and had it shipped out of state. The staff were really helpful!

    Kenny at your Chicago, Mag Mile Location provided me with an exceptional first time experience shopping at a Burberry Store. Kenny had a Fitting Room already prepared for me upon my scheduled arrival, and gave me his honest opinion on how each item fit. He was everything great and I love every item I purchased. He made me look and feel fabulous!

    A+mazing experience. I had been gazing at this beautiful storefront for approximately two years before I finally decided to stroll in for a visit. The staff were NOT rude or stuffy towards me. Perhaps because I make a point to look good at all times and I know things about fashion so they probably expected me to purchase something. Burberry. Your associate Peter is remarkable. Very intelligent. Not pushy. He knows his product and knows what to say to make you feel on top of the world. I hope he is still there when I'm on the market for a trench.

    I recently visited this store with my friends, and we were treated absolutely unfairly. After…read morebrowsing and peacefully walking out (without buying anything), one of the workers came running after us and accused us of stealing. We were shocked, confused, and honestly embarrassed, in public for something we didn't do. They didn't ask politely or explain anything. They just assumed. No proof. No apology. nothing We cooperated and showed them we had nothing, and instead of admitting their mistake, they gave us attitude and let us go like we were guilty. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially when you treat young customers like criminals just because we're teens or don't "look" like your usual shoppers. We came to shop, not to be profiled or harassed. I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone who values basic respect.

While this short poem pretty much sums up my 30-second visit at Oriental Boutique, it is also an acrostic that describes the lady's attitude and the service. I was looking for a traditional Chinese dress (i.e. Qi Pao) for my girlfriend, whom I am going to marry. However, most of the designs cater to kids or tourists (that might explain why most positive reviews were written by non-Asian customers... just saying!) and very few of them are for adults. As someone who grew up in an ethnically Chinese background, I had seen and worn more culturally authentic and better designed traditional gowns and dresses. Many designs displayed in the store seem "oriental" in a western sense or as in what westerners think "oriental" should look like, but this is just my subjective observation and honest opinion. The lady was on the phone all the time, and when I asked her question, she literally answered, "no photo, goodbye." Okay. BYE. NEVER AGAIN! Wish I could have given a zero or a negative number.
