I can't say enough good things about Bumble Bee, especially after having a really terrible experience with another company. They were professional and thoughtful. They attempted to repair my existing unit with the knowledge that it would be credited against the purchase or a new unit. It turned out I did need a new unit, and it was installed 3 days later!! Lisa hustled and made it happen. I feel great knowing that I have an honest company that I can rely upon, and I was very happy to support a local business! read more

We just had some a/c work done on our home. Craig and Kyle came by to complete the job in a timely manner. They were extremely professional and courteous throughout the process. Kyle explained every detail to give me a heads up because my 5 month old baby was sleeping during the process. They were so quick, so clean and so professional. Thank you guys! read more

I have to say after dealing with a few ac companies in the Phoenix area , bumble bee was a breath of fresh air. I had a unit replaced in July and love the efficiency and the price as well as the service. Also had them come out and service on time and the customer service side of the business is indeed the bees knees. !! Thank you Lisa for making a believer and for living by the mantra of always doing the right thing. You will have my business for a king time. read more

Bumblebee provided excellent service, they arrived within 2 hours after my service request. The technicians followed the Covid 19 protocols and were very courteous, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend their company and am very grateful to technicians Louis and Leslie who went above and beyond in locating parts to repair the problems encountered with my old furnace. I sent an email that I needed service and was immediately called back. They had same day service appts available (in AZ in the SUMMER!!!) The tech arrived at the exact start of the time window I was given. He was friendly and informative about my AC unit. I will use this company from now on- thank you :) read more

This company knows how to fix your AC and heating problems. They do it efficiently, honestly, with full disclosure of costs. AND the technicians are always courteous and professional. Kudos to the owner - she's running a great business. Thank you. read more

These guys have helped me out of a jam twice. Quick service, fixes the problem and doesn't try to sell a bigger solution than what's needed. Will definitely call again! (Although I hope not to have to any time soon.) read more

I needed a new air conditioner because mine was old, rusted and slowly leaking Freon. I got three quotes and Bumble Bee came in the lowest. When I was ready financially to have it installed they did it within just two days of me calling them. Their customer service is great and they are very efficient and patient. read more

I found Bumble Bee Air Conditioning thought Yelp and it had great reviews so I figured it would be trustworthy. My biggest issue was I was charged almost 300 for a replacement part on my ac that was never cleared with me, he just installed it and then told me it was needed. The man then asked me if I "had a problem" paying which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was also told I would be emailed a receipt from their office of services performed which was never received. read more

This is my go to HVAC company. Professional, on-time as promised. Wonderful polite technicians. Won't dream of calling another company ever!

I have used Bumble Bee Air for many years now. Several years ago I called them to fix a 30 year old air conditioner. They found the part for me and the unit is still working! Since then, they have provided emergency service for us at some condos we own and just recently came out to our house on a sweltering summer day to get our air conditioner working. They found a faulty switch on our electrical panel and replaced that too. They are prompt, friendly, and do an amazing job for an excellent price. We will never go anywhere else. read more

My AC went out this morning. I called first thing about 7am to get someone out to hopefully take a look. Craig with Bumble Bee AC was here by 945 am and my AC was blowing cold air within 20 minutes!!! I was extremely happy with Craig's friendly attitude and focus on safety. He was wearing a mask and didn't even need to come inside. On top of all of this, the price was very reasonable and i didn't feel like anyone was trying to charge me for something I didn't need. The feeling of cold air on a hot day is definitely priceless! read more

I have a rental in Arizona but live in another state. Bumble Bee Air Conditioning was one of three quotes that I got to replace the A/C unit. All three trades responded immediately but the reasons I went with Bumble Bee Air Conditioning are: 1) their thoroughness in their quote 2) competitive pricing on the specific unit they quoted me, and 3) their friendliness and courteous correspondence. They arranged an appointment with my tenant and everything went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend this company. I believe them to be fair and reasonable beyond a doubt. I don't give out many reviews but was happy to do this one. read more

I've had Bumble Bee inspect and repair my a/c unit twice over the years. They are the best. Highly recommend them. Honest, competent, friendly and conscientious. read more

Lisa, one of their staff told me "I'll see you Friday at 2pm". NEVER SHOWED UP. I call their office, no one answered, I call her phone she replied me with a text saying she will call me back soon. NEVER CALLED. I texted her again asking if they were coming. She told me that the technician was still working in another place. She apologize telling me that she should told me that the schedule has a 2 to four hours window, and that most ac company does the same. Maybe that is true but she shouldn't confirm my time 2pm TWICE and never mentioned the time window. She asked me to wait one hour. After one hour, NO ONE showed up. I ask her for an estimated time she said she doesn't have one. So I called another ac company they schedule with me tomorrow and also acknowledged me about the time window. I don't know how are the technician in this company, but I just felt that this is a company with irresponsible staff. She also asked me if I want to reschedule after waiting for 3 1/2 hours. I knew they were not coming. read more

Bumble Bee Air Conditioning - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I had no AC on 4th of July weekend. When everyone else was curving my calls and pulling some general bad business fuckery, someone at Bumblebee answered my call on her personal cell phone, in the middle of her holiday hike. She sent someone down fast, charged less than all the other quotes, and worked with my evil home warranty goons. Nobody has ever come close to this level of service, and if I waited for anyone else to help me, I'd probably be deader than earth's dwindling bee population. read more

I logged on to Yelp just to write this review. My tenant in AZ called and said that they AC went out. I am 3K miles away so I looked on yelp. I called Bumble Bee and they were awesome. The woman who answered the phone explained everything to me. Got someone over there that day. The bill with only 232 dollars when they could have charged me 4K and I wouldn't have know the difference. What an awesome company to work with. Next time I need AC work done, they will be the company to do it. One other thing. The woman who answered the phone asked me for the tenants name and phone number so they could contact the tenant directly. Awesome! Normally I need to beg companies to do this. They were the ones that brought it up. Thank you Bumble Bee Air Conditioning! It was a joy to work with your company. read more

Getting repair work is always stressful for me. I'm not mechanically gifted so I rely on the professionals I choose to treat me right and set me straight. And there is no one I would trust more with my AC unit than Jimmy @ Bumble Bee. I know he's gonna tell me the real story about my unit, recommend service when it's needed, and give me the "all clear" when it's runnin' smooth. If you're looking for an AC guy you can trust, you've gotta use Bumble Bee. read more

Bumble Bee saved me from a costly repair this summer and I owed them a review. I recommend using them for your next AC service.

Air went out at my house which is an emergency in Phx even in September. I couldn't get any of the bigger places to come out until Monday. Being it was Wednesday, that was not acceptable. I happen to notice Bumble Bee and the great reviews they have. Gave them a "buzz" and within a few hours they were able to get a tech over to look at it. The lady who set up my appt was very polite and helpful. The tech who came was Bronson. Very polite young man who not only fixed my issue but he showed me exactly what it was and how small the problem was. He could of easily tried to take me to the cleaners like others do. He was honest and had great communication skills. Not everyday you find that with guys showing up to your home to fix things. I believe this is a smaller family owned business which is always better in my opinion. Next time my air goes out they will be the first people to call. Thanks a lot for your excellent service. read more

They came to our rescue! We live in California and have a rental in Tempe. It is difficult to schedule urgent repairs so far away and having someone trustworthy is key. Our tenant called in the morning stating the a/c wasn't working and needed it fixed ASAP since it was going to be about 116. We had actually called another company that we had used in the past for maintenance on the unit (AccuTemp). They arrived in afternoon and wanted almost $800 to repair the motor. My husband quickly got on the internet and found Bumblebee. Lisa quoted half the price for the same repair! She moved heaven and earth and got a repairmen out that same day as well as calmed down our agitated tenant. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and reputable. It was great to feel like they cared and that you weren't getting ripped off because you were stuck in a jam. Excellent experience! Highly recommend!!! read more

If you are looking to have a new A/C unit replaced or installed, you will not beat the quality, service, or price you will get from Bumble Bee Air Conditioning. They replaced my unit with a new high-efficiency Trane unit. Their price was literally several hundred dollars below the other quotes I received. These guys are awesome, honest, and great at what they do. I highly recommend this company! read more

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from Bumble Bee. My system was blowing cool, but not cold which isn't enough for July in Phoenix. I previously used a different company for an annual service in the spring but was very dissatisfied with them, especially with all of the extra service plans and "memberships clubs" they were pushing on me for a system that in their own words was working correctly. I decided to give Bumble Bee a try and the whole process was easy, quick, and affordable.I was able to get a hold of them immediately and they were able to come out and look at my system the next day. The technician was very knowledgeable, and was able to give me a very good explanation of the problem, what needed to be done, and why. It turned out my indoor coils were extremely dirty and simply needed a cleaning. Their pricing was very reasonable for this, and my system is back to blowing ice cold air. I've definitely found my AC company for any future needs! read more

Bumble Bee AC is pretty awesome. The technician Craig, was prompt, courteous, identified the problem quickly, repaired it in a short amount of time without any other unnecessary add-ons. He explained the what and whys, and what ifs on our unit, in a easily understood way. It is a great local, trustworthy company. Thanks again, Lisa. read more

Head pump finally broke, in July, after 16 years and it would have cost about $900 to $1000 to fix it for the 6th time. The tech who came out was awesome and told me the compressor was running without coolant and the compressor might be shot. It had done this several times before and after the repair they could not tell how well it would work or last. So, I decided to not roll the dice on fixing it and they replaced it with a Trane 3 ton 13 SEER unit. The Next day by 10 am the work was done house was cooling down. They even lowered the bill because I did not need a new thermostat. I highly recommend them. They are a mom and pop shop and go the extra mile. read more

UNRELIABLE! Scheduled for a two hour window and didn't call till 5 minutes before the end of that window to say they weren't coming that day after all. Rushed home from work to be there for nothing. Three girls in the office and none of them had the same story. Had the 2 hour window time wrong, too! Said they'd call back once they figured it out but 15 minutes later they still hadn't so I called back and told them not to come. Rescheduled it with someone else. Hopefully they will be more reliable. read more

Really impressed with the customer service we received from start to finish. We had them replace an ac unit last year and they were kind enough to hold the price for us to replace our second unit this year. Really quick response time and got the unit installed in a timely manner. My 5 year old was home so they built him a fort box in the backyard and when he asked if he could have some copper they went and cut some off the old unit for him to sell. They went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend them. read more

Recently the compressor on my AC unit crapped out (I had a different company come and confirm this at a ridiculously high price) and I contemplated either replacing it or getting a new unit altogether, although I was strongly leaning towards getting a new unit (my old one was 20+ years old) if I could afford it. I contacted 3 companies for estimates on both a new compressor and new unit. Bumble Bee AC was the only company that came out to actually look at my unit and confirm that the compressor was indeed shot (the other 2 companies refused to come look). They were also the only company that didn't push a new unit on me. Aside from being great to deal w/ from the very beginning, their estimate for a new unit was $1,000 LESS than the next cheapest one (the same exact model that the other 2, bigger companies quoted me for)!! They even pointed out that this was the same unit they have on their own home. Given all this, we decided to go w/ them and get the new unit. They installed it two days after we agreed to give them our business. Lisa and Jimmy were both amazing - super nice and genuine people who were clearly not out to screw me. I am a PhD student at ASU so this was a huge purchase for us, and they made it clear that they understood this and were just great about the whole process. I rarely ever write reviews but these guys are the real deal, and I completely recommend them for any AC work/maintenance you need. read more

It's a small but professional and affordable family company. I compared their work to two other highly rated organizations on Yelp. They were the most honest about the work I needed done. First impressions are everything. I came home from work late in the evening to find my AC unit not blowing anything. I called around a few places and wasn't having much luck. Not only that, the other places were booked out a week and generally just kinda cold and short with me on the phone. I called Bumble Bee around 8pm and 1) they answered 2) were very sympathetic and nice 3) scheduled me for the following morning and 4) tried to help diagnose the issue over the phone to see if anything made a difference. I mean, my gosh! Gold star customer service. The techs arrived the following morning, and in the beginning of the window time block they gave me. Not at the end or later like most service repair companies do. And they were great too. Very nice and professional. They did what they needed to do and were out in about an hour or so. Very happy to have found these guys. They're a keeper. read more

I used Bumble Bee for a repair last week. Lisa was great to work with to get someone scheduled. Craig and Chris came by to check out the job. They were able to schedule my repairs for the same day! It was the weekend of Labor Day, Friday 3:30pm...AC goes out. Call our home warranty on hold for 20 mins, then transferred to another rep, they say can't come till Monday... Are you kidding? It's 100??? Go to Yelp for a AC repair company and find you!! All I can say you came out within 2 hours and changed 2 batteries lol would have been even more pissed if I had waited till Monday for the Home Warranty to do that!!!! This company was great from the start. Very quick response, communicative, and the work was done so quickly. Not pushy/salesy in the least, and even encouraged me to get quotes from other companies, and I did - Bumblebee came back the best. Called Bumble Bee when I woke up to a 90 degree home. Repairman showed up within a few hours after call. After asking me a few questions about what was happening he had found the issue and repaired it within 30 minutes. I was happy to find out that the issue was not that big and not that expensive. Never once did he try to fix anything else or sell me on upgrades. But he answered all my questions when I asked about preventive maintenance. I would highly recommend Bumblebee to anybody with AC issues. I will have to let you use them for all my future issues. read more
