The company I eventually chose to do the work found the termite entry point, evidence of their coming into my home, and resolved it with a $350 spot treatment. Furthermore, if for some reason that doesn't fix the problem, they will credit that $350 to them doing the same whole home prevention for only $1150 total. The quoted treatment aside, my main concern was the lack of follow through on the quote. Due to the perceived urgency of matter I contacted the company the day following the inspection and requested to schedule/ pay for the service. I was told that the tech did not enter the quote/ visit information into the system, and they would contact me later that day to get everything scheduled. But, they never contacted me again. I am not implying they are dishonest by promoting a more expensive treatment, but my overall experience was subpar.
