UPDATE: After Rachel came out yesterday and sprayed our back patio, I went out to the front porch at night to see if there was any activity going on. Sure enough there were 5 brown widow spiders in our window sill crevices. I called Rachel this morning and she came out within 20 minutes to come treat my house again from top to bottom! Rachel is phenomenal. I love Bugco. They have great customer service and wonderful employees. Rachel and Cody service our house and they are both professional and very personable. Rachel will call before she comes and if she is ahead of schedule, she will call to make sure you are home and see if it is okay to come early. She always checks out rodent bait stations and makes sure they are full and working. She makes sure all of our needs have been met before she leaves. Cody is also courteous and got all of the spider webs off of our front porch and patio. He also helped me reschedule the day he was supposed to come out because it was raining and it would have been pointless to spray in the rain. They come out quarterly, but if you see an increase in activity, they will come out and spray again at no charge, especially after it rains. We have brown widow spiders and they came out again to re-spray after seeing an increase. I will only use and recommend BUGCO! read more

Called because the house my family is renting had a few spiders and roaches. They were able to schedule me for the next day with a two hour window. These guys were quick at replying to my questions and giving me a quote via Yelp Messenger. I liked the price, it was reasonable, so I made an appointment. When the guy arrived he was really nice and well mannered. Well after the first visit, we were still seeing a lot of spiders and earwigs. We called them back because they say that they will come back within the three months we paid. Well the next time the guy comes he mentions that we need to to get weep hole covers and that he suggested we buy them and install them because if he does it, it would cost way more. We listened but didn't install because we've NEVER heard that from the other pest control companies we've had. (Isn't not covering them job security for pest control? I mean we don't have snakes and mice so..?) We still continued to see earwigs and spiders. So we call again, because it's within the THREE month period that we paid for and the girl that answers says they will not come and spray unless we cover our weep holes. She seemed new because my husband heard another lady in the background telling her what to say. WE'VE NEVER had a company deny us to come spray after we've paid for service and it's not working. My husband says that he's never heard of a company doing this and this is not right. Well the manager gets on the phone and starts apologizing for what the girl said. My husband told the manager why are you apologizing, she is just enforcing your rules??! So basically it was like he was throwing his customer service rep under the bus. The manager said that he will make an exception and come and spray our home again, but that we need to get the weep hole covers. Well my husband is irritated at this point and says for him to just cancel us out of their system. I didn't appreciate the first pest control company I had as much as I do now seeing how these companies try to get you to pay more and do more. I like a company to stand by their word when they say that they will come out free of charge within the three month period after they have sprayed, this company unfortunately did not. read more

A rodent problem in my house let me to try to find an exterminator that could come quickly, since I wanted to deal with it as soon as possible. BUGCO was the top result on Yelp, and after scheduling an appointment with Daniel to come out the same morning I called, I was very pleased. Daniel walked me through everything he was going to do, explained all the components of the products he was offering, as well as identifying rat feces on my back porch, indicating that I was right to call them to handle the issue. Price-wise, they are extremely fair, and I didn't feel trapped into getting a service contract, like other places might. I did not hesitate to go ahead and spray the inside and treat the lawn for bugs, given he was already out here, and Daniel more than happy to assist, despite only being called for mouse/mice initially. BUGCO deserves every bit of the 5 star ratings they're getting, and a big shout out to Daniel for coming promptly and handling everything with friendliness, professionalism and courtesy. read more

Yep... 5 STARS to a company who earned it!! I love this company, especially GERMAINE ABRAMS!! First off this company is very comforting in a time in which I was "bugging" out!! I literally called in the midnight hour and within 1 hr of them opening their offices the next morning I received a call from the company. The office manager Cory was very kind and understanding of my situation. He offered scheduling suggestions that worked with my busy schedule. He also stated he was going to send someone very knowledgeable and helpful and that he did. In comes Germaine Abrams... not only did he call before arrival, but he was also ON TIME!! He came and inspected my apartment and answered all of my paranoid questions of the situation. He was NOT agitated, in a hurry, or uninterested. He honestly treated me like I was his only customer for that day, which is very rare to get from any company. He was very friendly, courteous and full of caring knowledge of all things creepy crawling!! When he came back out to do the treatment, he was early and I pointed that out. But not in a bad way, I was actually tickled that this company is attentive to a customer's lifestyle and stands by their appointment time. He came in and did the treatment. When done, he treated his own shoes to make sure that my paranoia was not going to kick in about bringing those creepy critters eggs in a non infested area!! HOW COOL IS THAT??!! So AWESOME!! I chose Bugco because of its great reviews and I have to say that I'm very happy so far. Daniel just left a few hours ago and he was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and as personable a man as I could ever imagine. This review is not based on the exterminating because the just sprayed today, but if their bug-killing is anywhere near as good as their customer service, I'm going to be over-the-moon happy with them (and, just as Daniel predicted, I did come home to see one roach out in public during the daylight, but he's not doing well - that is very plain. Treatment was performed 3 days later. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!!!! I recently moved to Texas for work, and just bought a home in the Katy area. Being new to the area, I was not prepared to deal with the insect infestation inside and outside of the house (it had been abandoned for quite some time). I had been fighting the "Bug Battle" single-handedly since December with very little success. Last week, my beagle was attacked by some creatures I couldn't identify - and my dog was absolutely miserable. I gave her a bath that night, only to find HUNDREDS of creatures imbedded in her fur! Although I had received a quote from another company - and could not fathom the $875 price quote to treat my little house and tiny yard! Although it was Saturday morning when I contacted BUGCO, a courteous man (Casey) answered the phone. I told him of my dilemma and begged for someone to treat the house asap. He said he would contact his partner (Chris) and get back to me. Lo and behold!!! Chris and Casey were able to schedule me that day. Chris showed up an hour early (it was his day off) and completed treatment inside and outside my home. Afterwards, he took the time to carefully explain to me what he found and how he treated the various critters. The price was $117 - and that included a follow up treatment in two weeks! We called last week for a quote, after being shocked at a $225 quote from another place for exterminating wasps from our home and attic. I explained my concerns to the rep on the phone and they recommended exterior treatment as well as potential interior treatment. They explained what results I could expect and the warranty. He let me know that the charge was $85 and that they could close up holes that the culprits were getting into for an additional fee, or that they could identify the holes for us to close up ourselves. The tech, CJ, arrived in a timely manner and got to work. He did explain that our dogs need not be in the area for about 30 minutes after the spray, for their safety. He identified red wasps and yellow jackets and pointed out that while our house may now be treated, our palm tree may harbor them in the meantime. He suggested routine care for the tree to prevent them. He seemed to not want to treat our attic, explaining that his nozzle was broken or something along those lines. My husband finally got him to treat it, which I am grateful for, since they knew when I called that I was expecting that to be done and we had discussed this. (I have a baby on the way and do not want surprises of that nature that put my child at risk.) He did not seal any holes but our house is tall and my husband said the ladder didn't look tall enough so we will just seal them ourselves. This was not necessarily the cheapest company, as I found one or two others that offered rates as low as $45, but I was not confident in their services and what I was getting for that money. I felt most confident in Bugco's services, price, and guarantee - due in part to Yelp reviews and their explanations over the phone. read more

Best service ever! My mother and I discovered a mouse in our home and I immediately went on a search for pest/rodent control. I was amazed at how BugCo had a 5 star review, so I decided to go ahead and give them a call. I don't recall his name, but the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was so polite and promised me that I would be well taken care of! He explained to me the rates and procedure without any frustration or any rush! We had Germaine come to our home and he was extremely helpful and courteous! (Not to mention that he showed up on time, unlike other pest control companies!) I showed him where we saw the mouse, along with where the mouse droppings were. He took the time to inspect and explain thoroughly on how it may have entered our home. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and also went on to explain how he was going to treat our home! We moved to Houston from California and boy, the bugs out here are different!! My first week here I was immediately searching for a pest control company. I called around and finally settled on Bugco because they were friendly and reasonably priced. Tito came and was extremely friendly and helpful. He walked around the home and showed us areas that were potential entry sites for critters. The second time he found that we had giant rats and set us up with some bait boxes. Then our bait boxes flooded over Halloween weekend and they sent him back out to check them out and refill them.
