I had an original contract with John Moore for pest control and I never met the guy who came to spray our house. I considered their service horiffic at best. I paid off my final payment with them this morning and was looking forward to getting my first visit from a different pest control company. I just got my first visit from BugCo and Justin was our technician. He couldn't have been more professional, knowledgeable or truly dedicated to performing his craft. It's such a huge difference when you work with a company who specializes in one thing and they do it extremely well. I'm looking forward to solving the pest problem in my house and I have the fullest of confidence that BugCo will address any needs that I might bring up. It's an outstanding outfit so far. read more

Excellent service! I found Bugco on yelp and chose it because of the good reviews. It was a pleasant surprise to see when the truck arrived that it was connected to Top2Bottom home inspections. I have done at least 7 home inspections with Top2Bottom. John Onofrey and his team are knowledgeable, honest, fair and do good work. That's why I keep going back to them for inspections. It was a great feeling to see that Bugco is owned by John as well. Daniel at Bugco did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. I'm excited to have found a good extermination company I can trust to do good work. Now, anyone know a good electrician and plumber??? read more

Yep... 5 STARS to a company who earned it!! I love this company, especially GERMAINE ABRAMS!! First off this company is very comforting in a time in which I was "bugging" out!! I literally called in the midnight hour and within 1 hr of them opening their offices the next morning I received a call from the company. The office manager Cory was very kind and understanding of my situation. He offered scheduling suggestions that worked with my busy schedule. He also stated he was going to send someone very knowledgeable and helpful and that he did. In comes Germaine Abrams... not only did he call before arrival, but he was also ON TIME!! He came and inspected my apartment and answered all of my paranoid questions of the situation. He was NOT agitated, in a hurry, or uninterested. He honestly treated me like I was his only customer for that day, which is very rare to get from any company. He was very friendly, courteous and full of caring knowledge of all things creepy crawling!! When he came back out to do the treatment, he was early and I pointed that out. But not in a bad way, I was actually tickled that this company is attentive to a customer's lifestyle and stands by their appointment time. He came in and did the treatment. When done, he treated his own shoes to make sure that my paranoia was not going to kick in about bringing those creepy critters eggs in a non infested area!! HOW COOL IS THAT??!! So AWESOME!! Here is a virtual hug and Hi5 to BugCo and Germaine for making this experience as pleasant as possible. I hope to not ever have THIS issue again but if I do... I am certainly calling people I trust to eliminate the pesky problem and with care... BUGCO!! read more

Bugco tech by the name of TJ was exceptional. He was prompt, communicative and resolved the one bugging issue. He explained the problem & solution quickly and decidedly. We will use Bugco for sure in the future. read more

I used yelp to look up pest control service and decided to give Bugco Pest Control a try due the amazing 5 star reviews! I am impressed with the level of service I received from Chris; he was very professional, on time, knowledgeable and thorough. He commented on our flower beds having too much soil to where it was covering up the slabs. I didn't know how dangerous this could be for our home! Thank You Chris!!!! We plan on staying with Bugco Pest Control, thank you fellow yelpers! read more

Fast, great services that is also very affordable! Got termites on the exterior of the house, Chris came out the same day late in the afternoon to look into the problem. Treatment was performed 3 days later. Chris was kind enough to explain to me how other companies were over-exaggerating my problems to try to get an easy buck, eventhough in the end I still chose the (unneeded) overkill treatment, Chris performed the treatments with a smile. Highly recommend him to anyone needing exterminator/pest control! read more

If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!!!! I recently moved to Texas for work, and just bought a home in the Katy area. Being new to the area, I was not prepared to deal with the insect infestation inside and outside of the house (it had been abandoned for quite some time). I had been fighting the "Bug Battle" single-handedly since December with very little success. Last week, my beagle was attacked by some creatures I couldn't identify - and my dog was absolutely miserable. I gave her a bath that night, only to find HUNDREDS of creatures imbedded in her fur! Although I had received a quote from another company - and could not fathom the $875 price quote to treat my little house and tiny yard! Although it was Saturday morning when I contacted BUGCO, a courteous man (Casey) answered the phone. I told him of my dilemma and begged for someone to treat the house asap. He said he would contact his partner (Chris) and get back to me. Lo and behold!!! Chris and Casey were able to schedule me that day. Chris showed up an hour early (it was his day off) and completed treatment inside and outside my home. Afterwards, he took the time to carefully explain to me what he found and how he treated the various critters. The price was $117 - and that included a follow up treatment in two weeks! LOVE BUGCO - the right way and the only way.....Thanks so much! read more

The guys here know what they're doing, are friendly, and quick. I've used them before, stopped after the storm for a while, but I knew exactly who to call when bugs started coming in the house. I've had nothing but great experiences, and highly recommend them. read more

We called last week for a quote, after being shocked at a $225 quote from another place for exterminating wasps from our home and attic. I explained my concerns to the rep on the phone and they recommended exterior treatment as well as potential interior treatment. They explained what results I could expect and the warranty. He let me know that the charge was $85 and that they could close up holes that the culprits were getting into for an additional fee, or that they could identify the holes for us to close up ourselves. The tech, CJ, arrived in a timely manner and got to work. He did explain that our dogs need not be in the area for about 30 minutes after the spray, for their safety. He identified red wasps and yellow jackets and pointed out that while our house may now be treated, our palm tree may harbor them in the meantime. He suggested routine care for the tree to prevent them. He seemed to not want to treat our attic, explaining that his nozzle was broken or something along those lines. My husband finally got him to treat it, which I am grateful for, since they knew when I called that I was expecting that to be done and we had discussed this. (I have a baby on the way and do not want surprises of that nature that put my child at risk.) He did not seal any holes but our house is tall and my husband said the ladder didn't look tall enough so we will just seal them ourselves. This was not necessarily the cheapest company, as I found one or two others that offered rates as low as $45, but I was not confident in their services and what I was getting for that money. I felt most confident in Bugco's services, price, and guarantee - due in part to Yelp reviews and their explanations over the phone. read more

Best service ever! My mother and I discovered a mouse in our home and I immediately went on a search for pest/rodent control. I was amazed at how BugCo had a 5 star review, so I decided to go ahead and give them a call. I don't recall his name, but the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was so polite and promised me that I would be well taken care of! He explained to me the rates and procedure without any frustration or any rush! We had Germaine come to our home and he was extremely helpful and courteous! (Not to mention that he showed up on time, unlike other pest control companies!) I showed him where we saw the mouse, along with where the mouse droppings were. He took the time to inspect and explain thoroughly on how it may have entered our home. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and also went on to explain how he was going to treat our home! Germaine also went ahead and made sure to inspect other areas such as the attic and the backyard. I am extremely impressed with how he was so polite and informative! The prices are very reasonable and affordable, and may I add that they truly care about their customers! They do follow up appointments to ensure that they had taken care of the problem, which definitely puts me at ease. Thank you yelpers for helping me find BugCo! I will definitely be calling and referring them! I can now sleep at peace, knowing that our home is well taken care of! read more

We moved to Houston from California and boy, the bugs out here are different!! My first week here I was immediately searching for a pest control company. I called around and finally settled on Bugco because they were friendly and reasonably priced. Tito came and was extremely friendly and helpful. He walked around the home and showed us areas that were potential entry sites for critters. The second time he found that we had giant rats and set us up with some bait boxes. Then our bait boxes flooded over Halloween weekend and they sent him back out to check them out and refill them. I haven't seen any bugs since Bugco has been coming around and Tito does a great and thorough job. He's very polite and professional and I trust him and Bugco. read more

Thanks Yelpers for pointing us to a great company. Your reviews were held up by BUGCO and crew. We were hit with a last minute emergency need for treatment due to a VA mortgage requirement and BUGCO totally stepped up. From the person who took our call (Jason, if I remember correctly) and went out of his way to call a tech already out in the field to see if they could work us in to the tech Jeff M. who showed up, was so friendly, understanding and gave us a really fair deal to help us meet this requirement in the "final hours" before our closing. This is how business is supposed to be run. Great job BUGCO or as we say in the Navy Bravo Zulu. Also thanks for being Vet friendly. read more

We were with another pest control company for a few years. I got fed up with them and did some research on who to replace them with. I called BUGCO based on the reviews from here. I'm so glad I did. They arrived on time, clean and professional. Germaine was the one who saved my family from the evil bugs the other company couldn't handle. It has been about 3 months since he was here and still no bug problems. THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!! read more

After hearing the sounds of what I thought was WWE wrestling in our attic, I called Bugco on Tuesday to see when they could come out. They were here this morning and came up with a great strategy to rid ourselves of Mickey's uninvited cousins at a very reasonable price. They were able to come up with something that would not endanger our animals, nor us (this is a plus.) The inspector then showed us where they were getting in, stated that he could send is exclusion expert out to fix the issue, or we could go to Home Depot and get a couple of items and take care of it for much less. I love the honesty and the time that they took to help us send our visitors back to their margic kingdom. read more

We had three kinds of roaches (Tree, German and regular) that were making me feel like I needed to move out then light a match and move on. I called Bugco about three weeks ago based on Yelp reviews and a relative closeness to their business location. Not only was the price great and our problem solved by Joseph Costello's treatment, but the recommendations for pre and post service were clear and helpful. If we have evidence of the problem again, I will definitely call again. read more

I love how kind and informative this company is. They give me advice on what to do with my pest problem, and I always learn something new when they come out. Great service on time and promised what they offered But then when they wanted to come back for my 3 month service they wanted to treat me like a new customer Telling me that I didn't give them a credit card so I can't get the discounts so I replied back that I'll just go with another company that will for sure give me better prices They replied Yes sir Now that's what they consider great customer service read more

I had Cody come for a re-treatment and he was great! Very polite, friendly and efficient. He called to let me know of his possible late arrival time but was able to arrive earlier than that. I'm a young adult with my first real apartment-- a duplex in the East End. The home is older and I guess some fleas got inside, because before you know it, my two indoor kitties had a horrific case of the fleas. I called Bugco based on the other Yelp reviews and couldn't be happier! I don't know much about pest control, but I know that the estimated price was the actual price they charged me, they were outside of my house 20 minutes early, and the fleas on my pretty kitties have been drastically reduced. Absolutely affordable, totally worth every cent! The guys were also very professional, explained everything clearly, and were efficient but not rushed. I felt like I got great personal service as well as the pest service itself! Note for pet owners: pets need to be out of the house for the spraying, so I timed the house treatment to coincide with a trip to the groomer's for de-fleaing and trimming. I was finding dozens of fleas a day on my cats, and now I've found only two or three!! Much more effective than over-the-counter pet store sprays and other treatments. Also more effective than D. earth treatments alone. Highly recommended! read more

About a month ago, my apartment had a bit of a fleas situation because one of my dog caught it. At first I didn't think it that crucial and thought using over the counter products would help get rid of it. Little do you know, this little fleas can multiply in such a short amount of time. Plus if you don't constantly vacuum everyday for two weeks, most likely you didn't get rid of it completely. After getting bit all over my legs and being in pain, I had to do something about it. My apartment had pest control, but not for fleas. I know, bummer. After googling and yelping, I ran across Bugco. Darrel who helped me over the phone was very polite, informative, and helpful. He was able to connect me with his colleague (Tito) the very next morning. Tito came not only on time but earlier than his scheduled time. He answered all my questions and helped sprayed down my 2x2 apartment unit very extensively and was very detailed about it. Both Darrel and Tito reminded me about my one month warranty in case there were still any activities. Tito also gave me directions of what to do post-spraying. That same evening, coming home I was able to sleep soundly. No more being bit overnight and I was no longer afraid to walk bare feet again. Last week, I got bit on my hand and was afraid that one of those little guys survived. I was hesitant to call and ask for the warranty coverage, but Darrel once again assisted me as if I was a new customer like the very time. He was again very helpful and looked up my information and found that I was still covered. I then requested for Tito this time around and was able to get an appointment with him this afternoon. Darrel tried his best to fit me into Tito's schedule as soon as possible and I am so grateful. Tito once again was ON TIME AND EARLY and without a doubt great with his service. I have to say I am very pleased, because I know the fleas are gone for good. I will definitely use Bugco's service if needed in the future and would recommend them to anyone who wants their money's worth. Please ask for Tito, because the two times I encountered him he was never rude and always in a happy mood. In which I think it is very important, because the customer service that's provided to customers will show you exactly the company's moral and how much they valued their client's business. read more

UPDATE: After Rachel came out yesterday and sprayed our back patio, I went out to the front porch at night to see if there was any activity going on. Sure enough there were 5 brown widow spiders in our window sill crevices. I called Rachel this morning and she came out within 20 minutes to come treat my house again from top to bottom! Rachel is phenomenal. I love Bugco. They have great customer service and wonderful employees. Rachel and Cody service our house and they are both professional and very personable. Rachel will call before she comes and if she is ahead of schedule, she will call to make sure you are home and see if it is okay to come early. She always checks out rodent bait stations and makes sure they are full and working. She makes sure all of our needs have been met before she leaves. Cody is also courteous and got all of the spider webs off of our front porch and patio. He also helped me reschedule the day he was supposed to come out because it was raining and it would have been pointless to spray in the rain. They come out quarterly, but if you see an increase in activity, they will come out and spray again at no charge, especially after it rains. We have brown widow spiders and they came out again to re-spray after seeing an increase. I will only use and recommend BUGCO! read more

When we first moved into our house, we had used another exterminator. It had done nothing to get rid of the roaches we were seeing or any of the other bugs. Finally I resorted to yelp and found Bugco with a lot of good reviews. Jeff from Bugco has been so helpful to us when. We were seeing 3-5 roaches a day roaming around the house. It was horrible! He came out twice to help spray our house and now we are lasting a week without seeing any roaches. I know it sounds still like a lot but he's given us pointers on where the roaches are coming in so now we're renovating our house to cover those tracks. Now even when we see a roach, it's always on its back and dead contained to one room. It has been amazing. He always shows up on time and confirms the time with me. He has even helped us with termite protection. I will recommend Jeff from Bugco to all my friends and neighbors. read more

Wow. Believe everything these 5 star reviews are saying. This company is awesome. The person on the phone scheduling was great and obviously the inspector was the best part. He was battling with some wasps and he absolutely dominated the fight. This guy was great. I'm terrible with names, but I think it was John or Jeff. Regardless, BUGCO is great. Not knowing who to call to have a outside board treated for termites, I checked YELP for reviews of local companies that provided the service. What caught my eye when reading down the list, was the number of reviews on BUGCO Pest Control and they were ALL Great! Over 170 strong! Well, I am here to say that they weren't wrong. It was easy to make the appointment. Jeff came out before the scheduled time, which was nice. He explained the process, the time it would take and then got to work. He was done in about 10-minutes. I like the company for several reasons: (1) Professional (2) Didn't try to upsell me (3) Came when they said they would come, and then (4) after Jeff left I had to call the company back because I needed the paid invoice emailed to me sooner. They contacted Jeff in the field, he sent it to me, and then I was called back to make sure that I got it. Terrific! For anyone looking for a Pest Control Company, I would highly recommend BUGCO. If I were staying in Texas longer, I may have had to switch. Highly recommend this company, very professional. read more

I have an older home and I have little boys that love candy. And they leave that candy all over. That means when the ants found my address, THEY ALL CAME TO PARTY. Jeff came out the very same day and took care of my any problem. In less than 24 hours they were gone! Then I had to call Jeff for another bug issue. The same immediate response and spectacular service! I can't say enough good things about Jeff. He is super knowledgeable about what he does and really thorough. Between Houston and my 60 year old home, I should be swarming with creepy crawlies, but thanks to Jeff, my house is bug free! read more

I bought my first condo a year ago and suffice to say the prior owners didn't mind a filthy house. I had so many roaches and other bugs I didn't even want to move in! I tried basically all the products I could from the store, and nothing helped. Finally, I got on yelp and saw the great reviews for BugCo. They were 100% accurate. Germaine came out and was super thorough, taking care of all the nooks and crannies bugs like. He was very knowledgeable and super nice. He came back about a week later to follow-up and make sure I hadn't seen any more bugs, and covered some of the hot spots again. I am happy to report a year later I have been bug-free since that visit! BugCo offers a good deal for quarterly/maintenance visits when you buy the full year in advance, so that's what I did. I really like that Germaine is always the one to come out - he is super nice, so professional, and easy to talk to. He also loves dogs, which is a big plus for me -- knowing he'd be careful to choose the solution that wouldn't be dangerous for my little pug! I have already personally recommended BugCo to a number of friends because I have been so happy with their service, their results, and their lovely staff. Honestly, I can't say enough positive about this company - especially Germaine! read more
