Haven't been here in a long time and now I know why now. Customer service is terrible and barely exists. No welcome in, no have a nice night, no drink refills. Literally was debating on taking my drink to the front desk to ask for a refill. When the employees would walk around to take plate sometimes they would plain out ignore the empty cups. It's also super expensive for 2 people it was $64 at dinner could've went somewhere nicer with better quality food if I knew this place was gonna be this expensive. Our group was sweating the entire meal. Not enjoyable at all. At one point I went outside for a few mins to try and cool down. When asked if the A/C was broken they said "no." They have CRAB LEGS for dinner which is a rare sight to see now days in California Buffets since the pandemic. I really enjoyed the Peppered Steak. Vanilla ice cream was really good as well. Example, snow crab legs that are over cooked, soggy and un-crackable to eat and if you can crack em open the meat inside is soft and mushy. All shell fish sizes, meaning mussels, clams have shrunk by at least half the size they used to be. The oysters stink like fish and that means they're bad. Oysters should have no fishy smell whatsoever. At least good oysters aren't supposed too. The overall food quality is sub par. Went for the lunch special which was a $41.00 tab for 2 adults was greeted and seated right away. Also to the octopus which was to die for that it almost made me ink from excitement. Now on to the reason for 4 stars and not a 5 banger is because as I was about to indulge in my cream cheese wonton there was piece of metal from the scrubber sponge in my food thankfully I caught it before it caught me.
