Waiting on a table at BW3s
    Carla D.

It was My better half's choice to go to dinner, because it's Father's Day Weekend. I was secretly hoping to try some place new and then he said "How about Buffalo Wild Wings?" I could have said "How about not," but I had to smile and give myself a pep talk and say "Sure, it's Father's Day Weekend." And if I'm being totally candid, this is a small request from my other half. A shoutout to him, he does so much for us, I can go out to eat at a place of his choice. I got dropped off at the front of the restaurant and put our name in. Things seemed a bit disorganized from the get go. The two hosts were whispering and trying to figure out where they could seat us, based on our request for a high chair. After a few minutes they figured out where to seat us. The restaurant didn't look crowded for a Saturday night. There were only a few occupied tables in our section. We got menus and saw a flustered server go back and forth between tables. He came up once and said he'd be right with us. Ten minutes later we ordered two beers, one tall Bud Light, one short Mic Ultra, and a water, an order of fried pickle chips, and a kids' mac and cheese with fries. Another ten minutes rolled by and we got our beers. My beer was supposed to be a short, it came out as a tall. I opted to drink it anyway. Nugget's mac and cheese came out piping hot, and the fries were semi-warm. He proceeded to eat both. I asked him how everything tasted and he said good. Another ten minutes passed, no pickle chips. Kind of a bummer. Our server took our order five minutes later. I ordered the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sammie with fries, my husband got the Grilled Chicken Buffalitos with chips and salsa. Fifteen minutes passed, our server said "your order will be right up." I don't need a dissertation as to why you're sorry, but it would have been nice for a simple apology. I get things happen, kitchens get backed up, the restaurant is short staffed, things happen. I think most patrons are understanding, but communication is key and that did not happen. Finally our meals came out. Mine looked fine, but I'm pretty positive the cheese should have been melted on the sammie. My husband's was fine, minus they gave him fries instead of chips and salsa. I dug into my sammie. It tasted good and the sauce (bourbon honey mustard) was sweet and tangy. The chicken was fried and had a nice crust. The fries were meh. Not super warm, kind of flimsy. My husband said his Buffalitos were good. Our server didn't come back to check on us until after we were done with our food. My husband did ask for his chips and salsa and he ordered another beer. Everything finally came out ten minutes later. Pros: -Chicken sammie was good -Kid's mac and cheese was good per the nugget -Buffalitos according to my husband were good -My husband Cons: -Service wasn't good -Lack of pickle chips -Fries -Me getting BBQ sauce on my shirt Tips: Service needs to get better. I think people will understand if you're short staffed (whatever the reason is for poor service), but you have to communicate with your customer. I need to bring a bib (for me).

Breaded dill pickles with southwestern ranch, so good!

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the known days to be here because you get the BOGO deal for either traditional or boneless wings. I've been here so many times, I actually downloaded the Buffalo wild Wings app so I could accumulate points and redeem them for free menu items. Last week, I finally reached a point where I could roll in on a random Wednesday and flex my 2450 points and get 20 free boneless wings. That's exactly what I did. I always start off with breaded dill pickles and the southwest ranch dip. These are always so good, it's worth burning my mouth on every bite every time. I told our waitress about the points (she wasn't impressed so I got competition apparently) at the beginning when I was ordering, and she helped me redeem the deal at the end of the meal which was a really smooth process. She was great and very attentive! The wings I split with my girlfriend, and we ordered 5 Parmesan Garlic, 5 Honey BBQ, 5 Mild, and 5 Teriyaki. The wings were alright. Not sure if it's because of the chicken shortage or if the chickens are getting chopped at a younger age now to keep up with the demand, but majority of these pieces were like half the size of the typical pieces. Don't get me wrong, they tasted great, but they were a bit hard and smaller than usual. But hey, they were free. My bill was only like $13 and I even received 750 more points for spending over $10 more due to another promotion they were doing through their app. Get the app and start accumulating your points if you go often!

This is a small location compared to the other BWW's in Columbus. It was very quiet when I went too. But no complaints. :)

The WORST service I have had in a very long time. Chanel completely disregarded all of our needs and treated us horribly.

The vibes are incredible and on a nice summer day, they'll bust the floor to ceiling windows open for the perfect atmosphere! The paninis and gyros taste delicious and authentic, and the sangria is so refreshing! You can't go wrong with the lamb chops, and you have to start with some (or all) of their delectable spreads!! Give them a try this summer!

I absolutely love the food here, but we rarely come here, as there are some things about this spot…read morethat I wish would improve. The food is absolutely worth the price. But it's a bit bold to charge the same amount as Northstar Cafe when the service experience is not nearly as premium. As a guest, you wait at the door to be seated, and you're standing there with a bunch of confused DoorDash drivers. You get a table that you have to trust is claimed for you, and then have to go stand in another line for counter service at the back. This line moves slowly because you can't see the menu until you are right by the counter, so people have to quickly figure out what they want when it's time to order... and to no surprise, this slows things down a lot. Even more frustrating is that this line to order overlaps with the exit point from the kitchen, so you have to dodge servers who are running hot food to tables. After you order, you have to wait in yet another line for the one beat up Coke Freestyle machine in a tiny crowded corner space. There is no space where guests can get extra napkins or to go boxes, and if you want a refill, you again have to wait to use the Coke machine. Once you pay, you are pretty much on your own to get anything you need -- and you have to stand in yet another tiny crowded space to wait for what you need. The overall ambiance is akin to a sports bar or a quick-service restaurant, but you're paying the premium price you'd pay at a full service upscale restaurant. And the food really does deserve that price... but the hospitality experience is just so lacking that I'm not willing to spend the money, which is frustrating considering these are all fixable issues. Koble really just has an identity crisis. Are you an upscale, full-service restaurant? Are you a quick-service lunch spot? Are you a sports bar? Please pick one and commit to it.

Fiess is normally alive music club, but on Viking game days, they become the ultimate Ohio Viking bar. Erik and the local Ohio purple people eaters club doing amazing job of transforming the place into your Vikings home away from home. They do the SKOL chant and they sing the fight song whenever the Vikings score. They give away prizes during commercials. They have a 50-50 raffle. It's like you're at the stadium. The staff is super friendly and very attentive, even though the bar was packed. Never missed a beat when your drink is empty or if you needed some food. The food is just OK. It could definitely be better in my opinion. I had the sliders and the beef just had no seasoning or flavor on it, but it was still OK. They do allow you to bring in outside food and there is a pizza joint next-door That had very good pizza as I got to try a piece of somebody's. I personally would recommend getting the pizza from next-door over the food inside. My only sort of gripe is that I wish the TVs were bigger and newer and brighter. Since the place is not typically a sports bar, I sort of get it. But they definitely need bigger TVs. Still totally watchable they just feel really small in the big space.

During our recent visit up on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, we decided to sit on the heated patio (which is clutch in Ohio). The vibe inside? Rustic wood, stone accents, mounted TVs everywhere -- classy lodge energy with a side of game day chaos. The staff rock the signature red-and-black checkered flannels, jean shorts, and Ugg boots -- think "sexy lumberjack chic." It's playful, but the atmosphere itself feels more polished ski retreat than dive bar. Our server, Sydney, was friendly and efficient. She stayed on top of refills and check-ins even though the place was buzzing. Now... small rant. We unfortunately sat under a speaker, and it felt like I was eating dinner at a rock concert. I'll never understand the volume war: music plays to drown out conversations, people talk louder, then the music gets turned up again. Next thing you know, I'm basically yelling my sandwich order to my wife. Sorry -- rant over. Speaking of that sandwich... I ordered the Turkey Smashed Avocado Sandwich -- basically an upscale club. Turkey breast, Swiss, smashed avocado, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula (nice touch instead of basic lettuce), and spicy mayo on potato bread. It came with waffle fries and one of their famous 29-degree beers in a frosted mug. And let me tell you -- that ice-cold beer absolutely hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh, stacked high, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Smashed Avocado Burger with fries and said she'd happily get it again. Twin Peaks sometimes gets labeled as "upscale Hooters," but don't believe everything you hear. Yes, the uniforms are on the sexy side, but the decor is classy, the food is scratch-made, and the menu goes way beyond burgers -- steaks, meatloaf, skillet green beans, loaded chips... it's more elevated than people expect. So if you're near a Twin Peaks, stop in, grab an ice-cold 29-degree beer, order a burger or sandwich, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Just maybe ask not to sit under the speaker
