The place was packed! There was a 45 minute wait for a table which was to be expected for a Saturday night but we were able to sit at the bar with no wait. We each ordered an adult beverage and placed our order for bowls of chili and chicken fingers. The food came out amazingly fast for as crowded as they were. The chili had a bit of kick to it and was good. The chicken was tasty and it was not greasy at all for being fried. This is always a weekend favorite place to go. NOTE: always busy for lunch and game times. Always a welcoming face when you walk in, their new Nashville rub and sauces are yummy. Great wings, plenty of tables but again, always busy and normally a wait to sit down. They have outside tables as well if it is not cold out. Great bar service and fast food , hot and ready. I feel like every time I visit the Columbus area, I have to visit a Roosters establishment I've never been too so I am happy to say after visiting almost every establishment that this location is great and does not disappoint. I brought a friend too that I've been begging to try out their food and he won't stop talking about it. When we got there it was pretty busy, there were only a few tables open. We got sat at a 6 top though there were only two of us. It's took about 15 minutes before a server even came to say hello to us. Several employees walked by us and did t really acknowledge us or try to get us our server, so that was disappointing. Once she got over to us she was really kind and got our food out pretty quickly after we ordered. We didn't stay for more than an hour. This is our all time favorite place. We love the food. We love the staff. We love the vibe. Just wanted to add an update since it's a totally different experience than normal with all of this coronavirus stuff going on. This is our first time ordering carry out with roosters. We always enjoy going in and seeing all of the familiar, happy faces of the friends we have made over the years. They are doing an awesome job with the distancing thing and keeping everything clean and sanitary for customers coming in to pick up food. Signs on the floor tell you where to stop and how far apart to keep. Everyone is wearing gloves and they have a sanitary rotation of pens for people to sign their receipts. Came in with a big group, three of us have South Carolina IDs and the server said she had to take them to the back to double check them. The manager Laura came back and said "these don't match the IDs in our books so we can't accept these" I explained we had just flown in and used these IDs in the airport. They even have the REAL ID star in the corner, she then proceeded to say our friends ID was fake and that she couldn't accept any of them. My friend whose ID was "fake" is 22, I'm 24 and my partner is 21. We ended up leaving because the manager was such a a nasty woman and didn't want to reason with anyone, I even said call the cops and have them come scan them. We even had my partners mother with us who is 50 years old and tried to explain that it was her set of twins that are 21, Laura didn't care thought and didn't want to listen. I think we got one of the last parking spaces in the back of the restaurant and it was raining - I would say there is plenty of parking at this location; but the restaurant was overflowing so the number of open spaces is probably a good indicator for whether or not there is a wait. Price: cheap to moderate; $10 - $20 per person, depending on your bar bill and how much food you order Decor is that overly-sealed yellow pine barn interior look (walls, floors, furniture, every surface) without a lick of upholstery in sight so you can hear every noise from every corner of the place. If you have any intention of talking and listening with your table - you may struggle. In other words, a perfect spot for wings and beer(s). * always go with plural whenever possible Rooster's reminds me a lot of "Fricker's" from NW Ohio... so it was a bit nostalgic, but the menu is better. We stopped in here on a Wednesday night last week and it was packed. We were seated within 10 minutes and the menu was pretty straight-forward with a nice selection centered around chicken but some nice alternatives like salads, burgers, nachos, and such. This was a night for wings, though - especially for a first visit. The choice / range of sauces for wings is broader than most wing joints - so I appreciated having multiple options for "hot" and also for alternative sauces. The "sweet thai chili" had great flavor but next time I'll choose something closer to the top of the list.... it would have been ideal if it were a bit hotter so I'll try the "korean bbq" next although it's the "donkey" that is haunting me 1 week later... In addition to the wings, we also shared a loaded order of tots called "dumpster" and can be served as fries, tots, or wedges. Delicious - but definitely a portion you should share with at least one other person. I think I would share it with 3-4, ideally ... This really seems like "the" place for chicken so the name is kind of perfect. I am not always in the mood to nibble at chicken wings and Rooster's has a great alternative: tenders Chicken breasts cut into "tender" strips and served either grilled or breaded/fried and you can choose your sauce. This place was busy on an early Sunday evening but we were seated within 15 minutes. Honestly, these were the best wings out of ALL the wing places nearby. We loved it and will definitely be back, a lot! The server was pretty young and inexperienced. We had to catch her eye to get another drink, a to go box, and to take our order in the first place. COVID REVIEW! Up front, I'll say I am a fan of Rooster and I have visited at least 5 locations. This one is close to my work, so I haven't been there since March of 2020. As I mentioned above, this review was written during the 2020 pandemic and when I've mentioned that in restaurant reviews it was a disclaimer or excuse for things not being perfect. Tonight we stopped on an impulse after an afternoon of exhausting last minute Christmas shopping. I saw the parking lot was full. As we walked in this was the most packed restaurant I've been to all year. That said, they put a lot of thought and money into their table layout and lexan screens between booths/tables. Even though it was packed, I didn't feel crowded. We were instantly seated and our server Nicole greeted us quickly. Our drinks came quickly as well as the exact food we ordered. I was looking for something to raise my tension or not go right, but they just weren't cooperating! I have had thousands of Rooster's wings. I got my usual hot and being the expert I am, I could tell instantly that they were perfectly fried in brand new oil. Sauced perfectly, they must have arrived at my table seconds out of the fryer as they were piping hot as were the curly fries with cheese and bacon. Things continued to go well and I looked at my Coke and thought to myself, "Do I want another"? I hate slow service on refills, but I also dislike when they bring a refill without asking. Right on queue Nicole asked if she could bring me a refill. I told her no, but I could use a water. (It was getting late for me to have more caffiene). I am currently trying another diet trend while in quarantine so I tried a chef salad while at roosters and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Instead of getting wings I got four grilled chicken tenders, with Cajun seasoning, and tossed in hot sauce. If you're looking for a healthy alternative from the usual traditional wings and onion feathers (my fav), give their salads a try! Most people don't think about pizza when they think of Roosters but it just sounded good today so I decided to go for the mushroom pizza. Theirs is a thin crust pie, cut into squares as it should be. It's similar to a medium quality frozen pizza that comes out hot and fast - tastes pretty good too. Their prices start at $4.99 for a basic 8" cheese pizza and you add 49 cents for each additional topping. I was also craving something green, so I opted for the 1/2 size Greek Salad which was about $3.50 and it was almost big enough for a meal by itself. It's not served with pita bread which is the one small gripe I had with it. So if you're craving some cheap pizza and a beer and you don't want to fire up your oven....Roosters does the basics and they do it very well. read more

Been coming here at least once a week for over 5 years. Good food, lots of TVs with whatever sport is currently happening, and the beer is always cold. Reconsidering my patronage though as the attitude from one of the bartenders has soured in recent months for some reason. I was overcharged for one beer and was not given the benefit of the doubt even though I've been a good customer and tip generously. Most of the bartenders are very pleasant and work hard. I really like the vibe here it's a classic sports bar the staff are nice the girls working here are all nice looking very friendly but honestly the food quality leaves for something to care for ..the pizza always comes out very well done almost borderline burnt I don't know why they have to cook it to death you cannot even tell the cheese anymore looks like a brown crumbles one and some of the wings flavors are really off actually lacking flavor such as the hot Nashville dry rub which is neither hot nor rubbed on the wing barely has any on it so I guess it is average pub food but it has a nice energy and atmosphere a good place to watch a game catch up with friends. Cute place. Great for groups, beer specials, and sports games. We had the rooster pile and fried pickles for appetizer. They were a little dry & heavy, the fried pickles had a lot more breading than most places (too much in my opinion). We all got the quarter pound burger though and it was amazing!!! Highly recommend. Great place to watch football and enjoy some chicken wings! The Carolina Gold was my favorite.

In my previous visit, I dined-in. I sat at one of the outdoor tables. Despite some of the chatting from other customers outside, I found the atmosphere on this day to be peaceful. As I waited for my food, one of the paper menus displayed at my table was blown away by the mild wild. I walked over to the other side of the table to pick it up. During the walk, I did step on my white shoelace of my low-top black Converse All-Star shoes. The portion of my shoelace that I stepped on had contact with the ground. It remained tied after I stepped on it, but it eventually untied later on. Yet, it didn't deter me from enjoying being outdoors. The two monitors in the outdoor area showed two different live NFL games. I felt it was tremendous although the sound of only one of the broadcasts was heard. I did have a nice conversation with my waitress. Despite being busy, it was great that she took some time to talk to me. During this dine-in, I ate a garden salad, which was top-notch, and a veggie burger, which was solid. I enjoyed this visit and plan to come back. read more
