My all time favorite chicken wing place in all the world! I currently live in St. Louis and the chicken wings are subpar and not good. Being that I am originally from Columbus, Ohio I get excited when I visit to go out and get Roosters! Also they built one right by my parents house which is even better! The wings are amazing and the apps are even better! I highly recommend the fried mac and cheese bites! Wow, they are great! The other food I've had and loved would be, the fries, Tatter tots, nachos, wedges, and everything else! But when you go get the wings! All the sauces are great my favs are teriyaki and the honey BBQ! But the garlic are great as well! The wings have a ton of meat on the bones but you can get boneless too. read more

I love roosters. This is by far my favorite wing place I believe their wings are very large compared to some other places like a BW3 or Beef O'Brady's. The Waitresses are always really nice people are good they got great cold draft beer I got hot wings always go with the donkey wings with ranch and fries with no telling how much money I've spent in this place to be honest. But I've never had a bad meal here, steak and potato chicken wing type of dude and this is right up my alley I put this above Hooters I put this above any other wing place this is by far my favorite sports bars American bar whatever you want to call it. WORST service I've ever had at Rooster's! Unfortunately one of the bartenders used to be "family" and has chosen to NOT speak to me or any of my immediate family! Therefore she had words with the other bartender and our service was horrible. No matter your feelings about someone you are still supposed to wait on them and speak kindly, she wouldn't even make eye contact! My current "home" roosters I have gone to this location countless times since I reside close to it now. They still have the big whole wings (some locations are getting smaller wings) and they always have my food ready when I order it. The staff is kind as well. This was one of our favorite places to go pre-Covid and we continued doing carry out through the early part of the lockdowns. The last time I went in to pick up an order, it was packed. Wall to wall people, even around the bar, and I felt claustrophobic waiting for the server to bag up my food. I felt like I needed a shower walking out the door. They don't offer curbside pickup as far as I know. I won't be back there until post Covid, not even for carry out. read more

Truly, what's not to love about Roosters? Great prices and super happy hour/drink specials! If there's one thing they're good at, it's consistency. I was short-term living in Hilliard, so this location became my trusted location for a few months. There was always plenty of seating which was hard to come by at my old tried and true Grove City locations along with parking. And I could always find a seat at the bar, which is a plus in my book. The servers & bartenders were always pleasant, fast and accurate. The one semi-bad experience I had was quickly rectified which made me love Roosters even more. The most disrespectful, rude manager I've ever encountered. Came in with my family on Mother's Day, the server was amazing, but then the manager who was dressed completely unprofessional and didn't even tell us her role in the restaurant was rude as hell and it was honestly a terrible experience. As a vet I'd rather deploy again than deal with the mediocre food and rude management in this dirty (the bathrooms are gross and the floors are nasty) establishment. Not to mention we asked for fat free dressing and had a "low calorie" dressing given to us without being told it wasn't fat free. Don't waste your time. read more

I'm generally not a Roosters fan. Or, maybe I should say I'm not a fan of Roosters in general. I like the little one in German Village for its cozy, neighborhood vibe. I don't like the one in Lincoln Village because of its failed attempt to imitate a beach bar, and its often-poor service. I dislike the one on Hamilton Road because it's so loud that the servers have to lean over to hear your order. I like this one in Hilliard. Excellent service. Moderate noise level. Consistent food quality. Simple layout. They removed the juke box. This seems to be a trend. "Some music offensive to families." I guess the managers have no control over song content. Oh my goodness do you get a lot of food here. I hadn't been to a Roosters in years and I had no idea. Their buffalo sauces are crazy rich and full of butter or oil; I guess this makes it more authentic since all the homemade buffalo sauce I have tried is chock full of butter. It still sits heavy in the belly, so consider that when ordering your portion sizes. The curly fries are kind of meh. I really just got a bowl full of curved french fries (which are irritatingly difficult to dip in ketchup) and not many actually curly fries. Maybe I will try the wedges next time. Service and atmosphere: typical sports bar with the roosters flair of "witty" quotes and such all over. Lots of TVs with sports and things and some mostly friendly bartenders. First and only time I will eat at Rooster's. The wait was beyond ridiculous and all the high school skanks were working and couldn't even tell me how long the wait would be. I grew really impatient but I was set on eating here since I had never been. When we were finally seated a waitress approached with a plate of food and asked "is this yours?" and I replied "no, we haven't even been waited on". We had been sitting in the booth for a good five minutes without being acknowledged so the waitress got the manager after my comment. The manager did not have a nametag but I assumed she was of authority since she was dressed up. She took our drink order and proceeded to flirt with all the male workers at the drink station and take her sweet time. The waitress that eventually took our food order was perfectly friendly with a big inviting smile. She even let us try some sauces to help decide what kind to order on the chicken. I had the macaroni and cheese bites which would have been much better if they weren't made with Kraft macaroni and cheese. The portions are pretty generous, I ended up taking half of my order of four piece chicken fingers home and managed to eat the majority of the potato wedges with cheese I had ordered. One of the down sides was that there were bacon bites put on my cheesy wedges, which I was not a fan of and hadn't asked for. I don't feel my wait and lack of proper management was worth it and I don't see myself eating at this location again in particular. High schoolers trying to open any restaurant is a definite "no, no". read more

Most likey the reason they went out of business lol. I am guessing it was crowded because it was their first week open. Not much changed in the interior from Hooters. Rooster's is a place to go if you want chicken wings and beer... Don't expect quality vegetarian options or the bar to make you a dirty martini. The food is dependable and good, it's also fairly inexpensive. The service can be lacking, depending on who your server is and how busy the restaurant is. I highly recommend the Killer sauce (if you like spice) and the buffalo chicken pizza. Rooster's is definitely better than BW3 but not quite as good as Roadhouse Wings & Grille. read more

Our take out order took over 40 minutes. They were busy, it's alright...except we were told 15 minutes when we placed it. I arrived 20 minutes later and was told to come back in 7 minutes and of course it wasn't ready again and I was forced to wait there. On top of that they forgot an entire part of our order. We had waited so long that I was in no mood to wait for them to make it, I asked to be comped for that part of the order. The manager refused to comp it and gave us $5 rooster dollars instead. A lot of places won't treat you the same because you are a younger costumer but this roosters treats me the same I feel and I appreciate it. Not being a big Roosters fan I am happy with this location. To fill in why I am not a Roosters fan, I have had a few bad experiences with the Broad St location and won't go back. Knowing this it made me hesitant to try a new store, but to my surprise it has been good so far. Staff is friendly, every time I have been in there, the servers always make sure I am in need of nothing, food has been spot-on, and overall experience is good. During Friday and Saturday evenings this place can get packed! So it may not be a good late night choice, especially during OSU sporting events! I am a wing kinda guy and always get wings, flavor depends on my mood, from Teriyaki, BBQ, Carolina Gold or Sweet Thai Chili. This location is nice, the only complaint I have is, during the winter time the restroom is quite COLD! read more

Went in tonight to have dinner with my two boys. Walked in, was greeted and told that we can just go in and pick a table. All tables were taken, no worries, we were waiting by a table that was getting ready to leave. Then one of the girls comes by and asks us if she can help us. I told her we were waiting for the table, she then says that they are taking names for the wait list...are you kidding me??? So I go up to the front with her and there are three names on the list already that came in after us.. I asked if we were going to be on after them, she shook her head yes and looked at me like I was crazy for asking that. I will not go to this location again. And...nor will my friends. I honestly don't know why I have never done a review for this place. The food is top notch! Everything is packed to the brim with flavor and you can add even more if you want. There are alot of options on the menu but they are know for their chicken. You can mix the sauces to create your own devilish mix up of flavor. My favorite has always been the donkey garlic sauce. Taking a quite warm and mixing it with superb flavor. The waitstaff is always very friendly and do their best to keep your drinks full and make sure you're happy. You have to understand, this place gets incredibly busy so sometimes slip ups happen but they are quite to fix any issue that may arise. The price you pay for the food you receive is insane to the point where you wonder how they make money. I can't recommend this place enough. I love this Roosters! I do miss Hooters, not the food but the staff... Who am I kidding, the staff was not that awesome! Living down the street from here is going to be dangerous to my health. In the month of April I am pretty sure I have gone a solid 5 -6 times. The food is always tasty and the service is top notch. I have never really had to wait a long time to be seated but I know that during big games/events that it is packed and wait time is around 45 min. During a recent storm my wife and I were there with some friends and the tv's and the radio did not work. Everything is satellite. It was actually kinda nice since we got to talk to each other and we didn't have to screamish. All servers are female and I feel like its a PG-13 version of hooters.
