I like my wings xtra crispy and was told they could only do 5 minutes more than they usually cook them and was not impressed with the result. I love Roosters. Totally kicks Hooters ass to put it bluntly. Best wings i've had. Best sauces. And their ranch is super tasty. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. There are plenty of beautiful women that work here. (Especially the brunette manager) not to sound shallow. But i compared it to Hooters so I thought id throw that out there. Friendly service. Only thing i can say is that it gets super busy in there. When its busy the service comes down a bit. Forgetting drinks etc. But they fo their best to make up for it. I sat at the bar after arriving home from a 3 year deployment with a family member, super excited to eat wings again. Only to be ignored for 15 minutes after receiving my drink, my cousin had to flag down the bartender to order our food she took our order then stayed in her corner talking to her coworkers till our food was done. She handed us our food then again never came back. We sat with our food finished waiting for a bill for 27 minutes as she flipped her hair and flirted with a construction worker at the opposit end of the bar, yes PAIGE we saw ya game, again having to flag her down simply so we could pay and leave. 2/10 will not come here again read more

Met up with an old friend and some of his friends at Rooster's in Hilliard....sat on back patio, great place to enjoy a cold beer and some quality food....ordered a dozen wings hot and had a couple Coors Lights....we had a party of about 8 people....service was efficient fast and on point....wings came out, piping hot, sauce was $$ and the wings were very meaty, not small....plowed through my dozen and had a couple of tall beers to wash down the flappers....spent a couple hours catching up with old friends...can't think of a better place to grab a bite and a beer or catch up with friends, check out Rooster's in Hilliard ....you will be satisfied with their service and their quality of food..... read more

Really disappointing experience. I ordered online for pickup and had to wait an additional 20 minutes past the time they gave me for the food to be ready. Then I was directed by the hostess, who wasn't wearing a mask, to go inside where the place was packed well beyond social distancing guidelines and had to wait another 5 minutes to get my food. Roosters is by far my favorite wing place. When it comes to their wings, I go with traditional vs boneless. My favorite sauces are the teriyaki, hot, and donkey. The wings are consistently great, no matter which location you eat at. My favorite thing to go with the wings are the dumpster fries. But there's a little secret you can do. Instead of ordering fries, you can get dumpster tots (tator tots). They are fantastic. You definitely have to eat them with a fork. They are a messy goodness. I will never go back to this location again. Never mind that every Rooster's serve there draft beer at room temperature. We went there last night for dinner at 5:30. While we were waiting to be seated the TV's were turned up to a absurdly loud level. I get that it's a sports bar, but when you turn the TV's up so loud you can't even talk to the person sitting across from you that's ridiculous. After being seated I asked the waitress if she could turn it down a little. She agreed it was to loud and did not know who turned it up so loud. She told the manager who turned it down to normal bar level. Almost immediately the bar tender grabbed the remote and turned it up to full volume. Almost every TV was set to the same game and volume was so high we couldn't talk. Everyone in bar began trying to over talk the volume. I've literally never been in a stadium that loud. It wasn't 1am and this is not a night club. It's a sports bar and it was only 5:30. People want to be able to sit and eat and talk. The fact that the bartender purposely turned it up to max volume after the manager turned it down showed me she has no control over her restaurant. We left without eating our food. Went to Nasty's and had great food, better atmosphere, and watched the same game in a crowded bar at a enjoyable level. read more

Putting aside the less than favorable reviews for this location, I decided to go ahead and try it out for myself. My visit a good one. The restaurant is staffed almost completely by teenagers and it is busy most times. However as I looked around while waiting for my food I found out that the waitresses, though young, are hard workers. They were doing their jobs thoroughly instead of standing around gossiping. She was walking around to every table, picking up the bottles, opening the lid and then scraping the dried up ketchup/condiment off of the inner plastic top with her finger nail. Mediocre crap. Ordered a 1/4 lb burger and 5 killer wings and wasn't impressed. The burger tasted like the crap I ate in high school and is in the same quality arena as Mcdonald's quarter pounder. The "killer" wings were soggy when they arrived and tasted like the stuff you get from a bag in the frozen foods aisle. Probably only remains in business because everything else in Hilliard closes at 10pm. They claim they had the best wings in Columbus in 2009 and 2010. Known for their chicken wings and for good reason they are wonderful. Large and crispy with several sauce choices. They also have good salads and side items. The staff is always friendly and service is high quality. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. I have never been in there and not seen someone cleaning in their downtime. These are hands down the best wings I've had. They let you choose your own sauce combinations which is cool. I ate here twice in one week and picked Hot mixed with Garlic.
