Wonderful Thai food. We had the fresh rolls. They were bright and flavorful with cilantro, mint, carrots, lettuce, and shrimps. We ordered half veggie with avacado and the other was a shrimp roll.Then we had Bangkok Beef a stir fry of mushroom, ginger, beef, and onion that came with chow mein noodles. I ordered a chicken coconut soup which was delicious! It's a Tom Kha Gai with thick rice noodles. I loved it! Actually, everything was super fresh. The chef has an artistic flair for everything. The chicken was breast meat, the veggies were fresh, and the service was outstanding. I will be back there again. read more

We walked in and the pLace was full with a biker gang but there were a few tables that looked like they were going to open up. I went up to the counter and asked "do you have a spot for two?" I can't even tell you how much I love this place. The ingredients are fresh and skillfully prepared, and absolutely everything on the menu is delicious. Yumminess here. This restaurant is quite lovely as is the staff and the food. The presentation was also lovely but I ate it before I thought to take a photo. I ordered yellow curry tofu on lunch special. So delicious and fresh and served with a salad I loved. Ordered pineapple rice to go for a friend and some brown rice for me. Last night the owner of Buddha Thai yelled at one of his regular customers, someone who has been dining at his restaurant for over a decade, in front of the whole restaurant. Not only is this extremely unprofessional and rude, it also was completely unwarranted and unprovoked. This will drive customers like me and my husband away from this business, which we have frequented for a long time. Yes, it's one of the better dinner places in Lake County and the food is consistently good. Maybe look at one of your Buddha statues and remember to have compassion? 5 star experience!! The food was soooo DELICIOUS!!! It hit all the right notes and was super comforting and PERFECT after a healing day at the hot springs. The server was EXCEPTIONAL! We were 4 ladies and he was helpful and patient and kind! Never made us feel like we were a hassle! The food was ready FAST! We were surprised at how little our bill was! I apologize in advance for this review as it has been while since dining there. I will preface this by saying I am not a Thai food fan so far and this restaurant confirmed that. The service was very good and their are not many places to choose from. I'm visiting from the San Mateo peninsula which puts Middletown at a culinary disadvantage. I chose a dish under the category of Stir Fried and Grilled which led me to believe that the dish would be either "stir fried" and or "grilled" but what we received was a plate of shrimp and vegetable bathing in a broth that was flavorful but soggy. I missed the part where everything under the "Stir Fried and Grilled" category was sautéed, not thank you. My fault for misunderstanding the menus but hey what do I know. I wanted something dry and flavorful which didnt happen. I'm sure the food is good to someone as many have given this restaurant high marks but first impressions are lasting impressions. If I should return, I will make sure I as the wait staff for recommendations. I'll update if I find myself here again. read more

The lunch specials they have are a good deal for just $10. I got the pad see ew with beef (comes with soup or salad) and my boyfriend got the yellow curry with chicken (comes with rice and soup or salad). They were the perfect serving size. Wasn't expecting much since this was a small town and I figured there wouldn't be many asians around, the food would not be authentic but I was pleasantly surprised! All the dishes we got was delicious! The server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered: Curry, pad see ew, tom yum soup, and pineapple fried rice. All amazing and flavorful. The soup was spicy just the way we liked it. Definitely will be returning here for a meal when we go wine tasting again. People of Middleton you are very lucky. read more

Had the Drunken Noodles and its hard to believe it had Zero flavor. I love Thai food mostly because of vibrant the flavors in Thai cooking. The drunken noodles I ordered basicly tasted like plaim boiled noodles and the beef in it tasted like the beef was sliced cooked in olive oil and thrown on tip. Had to throw in some extra oyster sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. There was no trace of the Thai basil it should have had. The spring rolls were pretty good though, guess there is that. read more

Best Thai food I have ever had. VERY VERY Fresh food, local veggies served and the environment is so amazing. I feel so comfortable inside and the place was really clean and smelled so delicious. I love the orange chicken, I always order 2 orders! The pineapple fried rice is BOMB too, with added broccoli. I eat it for 2-3 meals, it is BIG! The service is excellent, they make you feel like you are part of their family. The owners are so sweet and will accommodate any thing you want or need. This place is a MUST try! read more

Mind blowing! I live in the Bay Area and this Thai food is BETTER than any fancy-ass spot I've gone to there. The coconut milk soup was unbelievable, so delicate and strong and spicy and sweet and layered all at once. The pan fried wide rice noodles (#52, highly recommend!) was equally good. Omg I will make special voyages just to eat at this spot and especially if you're staying at Harbin and the food is less desired while they are busy rebuilding, just come here! One of THE best places to eat in town. Always extremely fast for takeout, and food is correctly done and always the same. I order the orange chicken with sauce on the side so it stays crispy. Vegetable fried rolls are delicious, and come with the lightest best sauce on the side. The green curry is very good, and is very fresh. Delicious! I've had just about every vegetarian option over the past 6+ years, all were great. The avocado spring rolls and curries are my go-to dishes. Been here twice now once for dinner, once for lunch. It's really good. Service is attentive, food is good, prices are reasonable. Had the Roti appetizer, it's a little greasy but very tasty. The Tom Kha soup is out of this world. Egg rolls were great. We had yellow curry the first time and mango curry the second. I think the yellow curry was a little better. The Pad Thai is also good, well balanced with fresh ingredients. Over all it's a solid place and I will eat here again read more
