Small but cozy and decorated with kitschy and cute decor, this coffee house/cafe offers coffee, tea, matcha, boba drinks, smoothies and fresh juices. They also have breakfast goodies and other items like muffins, burritos and frittatas. Everything is fresh and served quick. You can sit inside or there are also some outside benches overlooking the lake in the back. I was able to order a sugar-free blended mocha with sugar-free whipped cream. Ahem, REAL whipped cream. Yes it was fantastic and a great price as well. They have a huge variety of flavored syrups and options, protein bases and vegan milks and can create drinks on par with a certain windmill chain...ONLY better! Shoutout and thank you to the wonderful staff and especially to the sweetest barista ever, who helped me customize my drink to fit my dietary needs. It is a great place to stop either when in Clearlake or on your way to another adventure.

ZERO STARS!!!My first time visiting this coffee shop was 4 years ago. And it was great. We went…read moreback today and had our best friends with us, excited to show them a really neat and eclectic coffee shop. That is NOT what we found. When we walked up the once cute landscaping on their patio area was unkempt and cluttered with old motorcycle parts. Walking in I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. There is just clutter everywhere. And it was covered in dust and grime. There are three tables in the place. Two of which were being taken up by people that weren't actually eating or drinking anything. The other table had a dusty Christmas tree sitting on it with no space to be used as a dining table. One of the workers was I guess just kind of hanging out with those people and the other worker was standing at the register. What I'm getting at is, neither worker was actively making anything for anyone that was currently taking up dining space for actual patrons. The space was so cluttered with stuff you would have thought it might be someone's storage space instead of a restaurant. The whole atmosphere of the place was just gross. I needed to use the bathroom as we were on an 8 hour road trip home. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was no soap in the bathroom and the sink and toilet looked like they had never been cleaned. I live by a rule I learned from watching Gordon Ramsey. If the bathroom of a dining establishment isn't kept clean the kitchen won't be either. This rule has served me pretty well I think. And this place was screaming food poisoning central. The two that worked there seemed nice enough but the pride they have for the place is completely absent. The menu they have in place looks good, but the cleanliness of the place completely ruined it for us. We decided not to eat. We still needed a stretch of the legs before getting back on the road so we were going to enjoy some fresh air outside on the patio. We couldn't even do that because it smelled like pee. And there was bird poop all over the tables. I really love to see quirky and eclectic places succeed, but this place has lost its pizzazz and needs to be closed down. How the health department hasn't done this yet is beyond me.

Mind you that I have never in my entire life ever left a restaurant without paying. I'm no teenager so definitely can pay what I owe. And in fact, in the last few visits, have generously tipped the old mill staff at minimum 20-25%. When I chose to give them $100 to cover the bill they accused me of not paying the last time...they at first refused then proceeded to tell me the truth...that the machine they were using the night I was accused of not paying was not working and they had encountered multiple problems with different patrons that night...and many other payments had not gone through. In fact, they said after that they were forced to replace the entire system. So I ask, if you knew it was your system...why would you then accuse a patron of purposely not paying the bill. I stayed to eat. I even tipped extra. But after I left, I realized the situation put a distaste in my mouth. Hopefully the server and mgmt learn not to blame a Patti for their bad machine/system. That was in poor taste. That approach made the food tasted mediocre after that. Next time I'll think twice before I choose to come again.

I had the Mexican Coffee which I have had at Catfish and this one was not at all like the other one. I couldn't taste any spice, nor did it taste like dark chocolate. I bought my brother a white mocha and when I asked him how it was, his response was "It's a mocha," so no rave reviews either from him.
