This past weekend we visited this McDonald's twice and service was night and day! On Saturday afternoon while they were busy, our food came out super fast and the lady working in the dining area was really welcoming, pleasant and helpful. She was checking in with customers, refilling drinks and keeping the area clean. Her charisma and overall presence gave a sense of above and beyond excellent customer service. Today (Memorial Day) we visited around the same time and my impression is they were shorthanded for the holiday weekend and definitely missing the superstar from the day before. I could see the drive through was busy and the dining room was also becoming quite busy. Our food along with 3 other tables took a while to come out and the remaining 3 tables had left over numbers and trays that needed to be cleaned. It was hard to find someone to help refill drinks and even took a few minutes just to get an ice cream. The restroom was out of soap and needed some attention. Maybe today was just a unique situation as I've visited this location at least twice year for years and never seen it like this. Regardless, this will always be our favorite pit stop aside from Foster's Freeze. It's also worth noting in the same lot are Walmart, Big 5, a Tractor store and Starbucks for anything you might have forgot for camp or need in general.

They had some food options available but we only were in the mood for drinks at the time. I got a: Smoothie (mango + blueberry) with apple juice and yogurt, with whipped cream on top. The overwhelming flavor was the apple juice, but the smoothie was still refreshing and cheap. No complaints. This coffee shop also borders the lake so we sat for awhile inside, but then took our drinks out to overlook the water. It was so beautiful.
