And in fact, in the last few visits, have generously tipped the old mill staff at minimum 20-25%. When I chose to give them $100 to cover the bill they accused me of not paying the last time...they at first refused then proceeded to tell me the truth...that the machine they were using the night I was accused of not paying was not working and they had encountered multiple problems with different patrons that night...and many other payments had not gone through. In fact, they said after that they were forced to replace the entire system. So I ask, if you knew it was your system...why would you then accuse a patron of purposely not paying the bill. I stayed to eat. I even tipped extra. But after I left, I realized the situation put a distaste in my mouth. Hopefully the server and mgmt learn not to blame a Patti for their bad machine/system. That was in poor taste. That approach made the food tasted mediocre after that. Next time I'll think twice before I choose to come again.

This past weekend we visited this McDonald's twice and service was night and day! On Saturday afternoon while they were busy, our food came out super fast and the lady working in the dining area was really welcoming, pleasant and helpful. She was checking in with customers, refilling drinks and keeping the area clean. Her charisma and overall presence gave a sense of above and beyond excellent customer service. Today (Memorial Day) we visited around the same time and my impression is they were shorthanded for the holiday weekend and definitely missing the superstar from the day before. I could see the drive through was busy and the dining room was also becoming quite busy. Our food along with 3 other tables took a while to come out and the remaining 3 tables had left over numbers and trays that needed to be cleaned. It was hard to find someone to help refill drinks and even took a few minutes just to get an ice cream. The restroom was out of soap and needed some attention. Maybe today was just a unique situation as I've visited this location at least twice year for years and never seen it like this. Regardless, this will always be our favorite pit stop aside from Foster's Freeze.
