From the outside appearance I have passed it up many times. Finally ventured in and is nice and clean and very roomy. The service was Fabulous! The food delicious. The enchiladas are a bit different looking than I am used to not covered in sauce. The Chile rellano was huge!! And yum. As was the rice. Only thing i wasn't used to was no chips n salsa at service. But thats okay

First timers! Decided we wanted Mexican food and hubby suggested this place. I drive past it twice a day and have heard good things. The first thing I noticed was it was very clean. Menu offers both American and Mexican meals, and they have a full bar. My husband ordered the country breakfast which was a ton of food. He said the biscuits and gravy were just average. I had the chimichanga and it was ok but very big. Salsa was very good and service was on point. We enjoyed our server very much. I definitely think we will come back and give the Mexican food another try

Beyond pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall of a place. By FAR one of the best chimis I've ever had, and their chili rellenos were stuffed with the proper cheese! The sauces are all great, and everything inside the chimi is top notch. Tried both the carne asada and the carnitas, and I preferred the carne asana, but I'm not much of a pork person to start so was surprised I didn't totally dislike it. Although I did have it on a sope as well and it was perfect on that! I've had this place three times in the three months I've been here and it's been perfect and consistent every. single. time! Ask for extra salsa w your chips and get the chimi WET w BOTH red and green salsas - you'll thank me later.

Brunch in Lake County A nice country-style restaurant that serves classic American food... and Mexican favorites! On the way home we stopped by this cafe restaurant in the City of Clearlake Oaks. It is located on the extreme southeast of Clear Lake. Although the Mendocino Complex Fire (which are the River Fire and the Ranch Fire, twin fires burning on both sides of Clear Lake) has greatly affected much of Lake County this restaurant was open for business. The menu had many options from American breakfast classics, sandwiches and wraps to traditional Mexican favorites such as fajitas, enchiladas and other traditional plate foods. The Mexican dishes also include chilaquiles, tamales, sopes, mole and chile rellenos (not your regular Taco Bell-type Mexican food). Breakfast is served until 1:00p. I ordered the BLT sandwich as I do love BLT's! The sandwiches are served with choice of French fries, potato salad or macaroni salad. It was delicious but small sandwich for $9.95. The food came quickly, service was wonderful, friendly and easy. Food was served as we liked it. The restaurant is located in the middle section of a strip mall. They are open 7-days a week. 3.754738 Stars! Review #1116

All my life we have driven through Lake County and never stopped here but now I'm regretting we didnt do it sooner. This was a great meeting point between the I-5 and 101 with friendly service and good food for a great price. If you're looking for a great mom and pop restaurant with a variety of options this is the place for you. The biscuits and gravy were flavorful and filling. The denver omelette was a great portion and very filling.

We went…read moreback today and had our best friends with us, excited to show them a really neat and eclectic coffee shop. That is NOT what we found. When we walked up the once cute landscaping on their patio area was unkempt and cluttered with old motorcycle parts. Walking in I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. There is just clutter everywhere. And it was covered in dust and grime. There are three tables in the place. Two of which were being taken up by people that weren't actually eating or drinking anything. The other table had a dusty Christmas tree sitting on it with no space to be used as a dining table. One of the workers was I guess just kind of hanging out with those people and the other worker was standing at the register. What I'm getting at is, neither worker was actively making anything for anyone that was currently taking up dining space for actual patrons. The space was so cluttered with stuff you would have thought it might be someone's storage space instead of a restaurant. The whole atmosphere of the place was just gross. I needed to use the bathroom as we were on an 8 hour road trip home. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was no soap in the bathroom and the sink and toilet looked like they had never been cleaned. I live by a rule I learned from watching Gordon Ramsey. If the bathroom of a dining establishment isn't kept clean the kitchen won't be either. This rule has served me pretty well I think. And this place was screaming food poisoning central. The two that worked there seemed nice enough but the pride they have for the place is completely absent. The menu they have in place looks good, but the cleanliness of the place completely ruined it for us. We decided not to eat. We still needed a stretch of the legs before getting back on the road so we were going to enjoy some fresh air outside on the patio. We couldn't even do that because it smelled like pee. And there was bird poop all over the tables. I really love to see quirky and eclectic places succeed, but this place has lost its pizzazz and needs to be closed down. How the health department hasn't done this yet is beyond me.

They also have balsamic vinegar and olive oil's on display for sale. It was midday on a Thursday, arrived and 2 folks were waiting for what must've been a sandwich being made. Seemed like I waited a LONG time in the lobby, at least long enough to hear about one of the customers upcoming travels, budgeting, family, etc. etc. There was I person working and when she finally came out and saw me waiting she was very apologetic for the long wait and lack of items to choose from. I was hoping to try their croissant which is different than your normal croissant, but they didn't have any available. Learned the pastries and breads are made at their other location and brought in which makes sense because the place is just slightly bigger than a shoebox, Ended up with a couple of ciabatta loaves, pecan bar and a lemon bar. The bread was the best, the bars weren't anything to write home about. We're planning to go back out in a couple of months and will give them another try earlier in the day.

In $24, we got: - 1 chicken red pesto panini - 5/5 - which was freshly grilled. They offer u 3 choices of cheese and i choose cheddar. The red pesto sauce was flavorful and chicken meat quality was top-notch! - 2 eclairs - 5/5 filled with chocolate cream. Unique and delish! - 2 vanilla eclairs - 4/5 usual but smaller in size compared to other stores so it was a fun size Would definitely recommend filling your belly here before you drive up to the gorgeous wineries for some wine tasting. #supportlocal
