Clams with no flavor.
Kim O.

This is a fun, funky, smokey casino. If you plan on going find somewhere else to dine. My significant other ordered fish and chips. The fish was mostly batter and over cooked. I ordered clams and linguini. The sauce looked as though a can of diced tomatoes was poured over the noodles without any seasoning. The clams were generous. The server didn't seem all that surprised that I had left quite a bit. She really was doing her best. Again play here, but eat elsewhere.

It was ok. The shredded beef enchiladas were fantastic. Crispy chicken tacos were good but burnt .

They offered 6 or 12 wings for 15/22 Bucks, Six different flavors and ranch as well. Shelby geeted me just seconds after I sat down at the bar. Decided I would get the Habenero Mango. She said it was their hottest sauce. Also got a Pl;iny to wash it all down. The wings came out piping hot and looked delicious, although I hoped they weren't too spicy. The wings were nice and crispy for the most part. Lightly breaded. A couple of the pieces were a bit soft on the crispy. A couple of the wings seemed to not have been cooked completely. I haven't gotten sick so I guess they were fine. The sauce was Not hot at all but the coating was enjoyable and of course the Pliny tasted nice and fresh. Next time I'll get 12. Reading some of the reviews it seems that some in the community weren't too happy about the restaurant opening up as it is in a Home Owners Association. Apparently, they thought the prices were too high. I think $!5 for 6 wings is a bit pricy but wasn't too concerned about it. 12 wings for $22 isn't bad at all. I can't comment on the rest of the menu but it has a lot of variety. Drop in and see for yourself. The place looked like it had just opened. Everything was clean and fresh looking. Bathrooms were clean as well. The bar & grill is in a building that has a proshop for golf if you so desire. I used to play there regulary and it is definitely challenging from the blue tees. Ah, I miss those days...

The place is clean, the server was nice, but way too slow. The bartender noticed we hadn't had our order taken but didn't stop the server from doing some kind of inventory instead of coming to take our order. We waited 16 mins from when I started timing it. That is far too long when there were only 4 other tables besides us and two were already eating. The food was delicious. My husband was pleased the burger was bigger than the bun and the onions were caramelized not burnt. My French Dip was on point and my fries were warm seasoned well.

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense. My boyfriend had some biscuits and country gravy with a side of sausage and fried eggs. He loved everything that he ate as well. He also had a bloody Mary, which was made with Soju. The flavor and quality was top notch and you hardly missed the vodka from the drink. Our server was very friendly, and he offered some insight into the quality of the Soju and the vendors that they work with. I just really loved the care that this restaurant put into not only service but the food that they're producing.

We ordered huevos rancheros with orange juice, and a caprese sandwich with a side of soup. The eggs were tasty, but it wasn't very hearty. I was hungry again within an hour. Lots of colorful sauce arranged around the dish, most of it wasted. The sandwich had the aoli, even though The Wife asked for it without. The sandwich was hearty, but kind of a mess. Assembled like someone wanted to leave. The space is attractive, with interesting local art on the walls, but frankly the prices ($20 for the eggs, $27 for the sandwich, $7 for a small juice) were out of line.

It was so beautiful and the person working that night was so knowledgeable about the menu. He made many recommendations and explained the menu in full. Their coffee/drink/pastry window is where you get your drinks, place all food orders and pay. It is open during their entire business hours (normally 7am to 8pm but could be wrong). Their coffee and tea are decent. I haven't tried other options here. Their kitchen has different hours and located to the right of the drink window. It is where all cooking takes places and you can pickup food here. They used to call out names for your food but now has transitioned into a buzzing card calling you when your food is ready. They come in plenty of outdoor seating (no heaters for colder days) and a trailer for indoor seating. It is also close to the garden for additional seating with great views. I am a bit sensitive to smells. Trailer is warm but it comes with smells. Overall, their food is relatively healthy, definitely well prepared but a bit on a pricey side. Some wait time is expected. It has improved during my most recent trip. At some point during Covid, the wait could be 40min. I noticed it has come down quite a lot recently. They come with standard daily options and daily specials. I found them to be quite delicious. Their protein is always well prepared. Salmon is always crispy on the side for the texture and tender inside. Chicken have always been tender and juicy. They also come with a lot of sauces to your liking. They recently rolled out this avocados based green sauce that I am obsessed with. People are always friendly. It belongs to the church so the proceeds go to their church at the end of the day.
