The cowboy but with ranch instead of bbq

They make some of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I only got one picture because we got so excited when we got our food that we were halfway done eating before I remembered I wanted to take a picture! The only reason this one made it was cause i ordered an extra for dinner later! They also have a great salad bar, its not always up and running but if you get a chance at it...do it! Plus they are the nicest people here. Great place to stop and grab a bite, indoor and outdoor seating. Also a nice little break if you have pets, they can stretch their legs too! Ill add more pictures when I can stop myself from chowing down before the pic! Anyhow, if you get a chance to eat here, you definitely want to do it! So good and just a nice place!

BLAT

Great third generation deli - only one of the Perry's delis still standing. Wonderful & friendly service - delicious BLAT- tons of bacon! Lots of ample parking; even for RV's & big rigs! Took ours to go but they have a quaint outdoor covered patio.

Tri tip Philly

Crazy good selection of sandwiches and salads. My tri tip Philly was super delicious. Plus the staff is so friendly.

#7 Cali Philly

Delicious sandwiches! Been here twice now and all has been good. This time we got a Cali Philly #7. SOOOO GOOD. Shared with the husband cause I wouldn't be able to finish my own. Friendly staff and love the outdoor seating.

Every time I go to or through Middletown, I stop by Perry's and get #20, the Tri-tip sandwich with no cheese, no bacon, no mayonnaise nor mustard, just a little extra BBQ sauce. Sometimes I also get chips. Sometimes I also get a single-serve, factory-sealed beverage. I always use the bathroom and though dated, it's always clean. They also have deli items like meats cut-to-order, premade salads, etc. Friendly service. Plenty of free off-street parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Reviews are mixed. Many highlight the sandwich quality and generous portions, the wide menu selection, and friendly service. The pet-friendly patio and ample parking are also appreciated.

Our server was prompt, knew the menu well, and took care of us. Food and latte we ordered were really good. I got the California eggs Benedict with chicken sausage (recommended by our sweet server) and my man got the steak and mushroom omelette. Food was presented with hearty portions and our choice of hash browns or country potatoes. We definitely look forward to coming back!

The staff was tremendous, we had a group of seven and they were patient with us on our orders and then got the drinks and food out quick! We came right between breakfast and lunch and the place was decently busy but we were sat down immediately. The vibes in the restaurant are old school diner with a bright mountain vibe. It's a nice ambiance. The food all around was great; we got salads, burgers, eggs with hashbrowns, sandwiches and everyone was pleased. The value is there too, you don't have to break your wallet for a good meal which is nice. Will certainly come back!

When we arrived, Palisades Eatery had a lengthy line to place an order. While waiting, we could see into the open kitchen where the staff appeared visibly stressed and unhappy - not much of a welcoming atmosphere. As for decor, their 2025 Christmas tree remains sadly propped up in a corner. We found seating at a table that appeared to have been cut in half and pushed against one of the oddly blocked-off bay windows facing the street. During the long wait for our meal, we noticed the deceased and dying insects accumulated inside of the bay window. Unfortunately, this did not enhance the ambiance of our dining experience. Our Cobb salad, Roasted Beet salad, and Calistoga Caesar sandwich eventually arrived. After taking a few bites, we looked at each other and smiled, realizing we were both underwhelmed. None of the dishes stood out compared to the many other lunch options in Calistoga. In fact, after taking one bite of the Calistoga Caesar sandwich, my husband suggested that I skip it entirely. Following the posting of my unbiased review, I received a message from Palisades Eatery's "business manager" Angela R. which felt unnecessarily aggressive and slightly unbalanced. Please read Angela R.'s response and decide for yourself if this is the type of business you'd enjoy supporting.

This time they had plenty of sandwiches, and I settled for the turkey pesto. Having read so many rave reviews, I was unfortunately underwhelmed, the bread was good (soft, moist, good flavor), but I didn't think the sandwich itself was anything that special. There are many other turkey sandwiches I have enjoyed more, no need for a special trip. But do buy some bread while you are there, or grab some when you're at Quail and Condor. I liked the Yecora Rojo Sourdough (moist, good flavor). They can even slice it for you with their machine, although I wish I hadn't because the slices were very thick and a bit uneven.

My husband's meatball sandwich, (which we are told the meatballs are made in house), was and I quote: "The best I've ever had." He did say the garlic fries could have more garlic and would have liked to have had parsley included without so much parm but still good. My friend got the pesto pizza and a pup patty for her doggo.
