Just discovered a Cardenas Supermarket in Hayward next to both the Business Costco and regular Costco. I am going to add all that to my routine whenever I am in CA. Quality/Quantity - This location has really gone down hill. You have a dangerous parking and driving situation. And you keep expanding your parking lots; I think more expansions are coming?!?! Now to the inside.... Again, so many of the customers here are so rude, are you all ALWAYS in a rush?! Don't even try to get a sample?!?! No more self service check out... I wonder why (saracism). Lastly, the employees have to "toughen up" to deal with the current customers. Let's not even talk about the long gas lines. Atmosphere - It was a great convenient location for me as they have additional shopping across the street - Home Depot, Walmart, etc. Expanded parking lot, thank you! So parking was not only easier, but also smoother. It added an additional two ingress egress. Most importantly, the GENIUS that closed off the gas entrance from the mall entrance deserves a HUGE raise!! The line and flow to buy gas has improved significantly, thank you! This still holds true before 10am. Open 7 days a week, from 9am till 7pm or 8:30pm; see Yelp or their website. I'm an executive member, so I will ONLY visit this location before 10am. Service - Best return policies!! I am a self-service person, so I use your self service checkouts when available, which are NOT available any more... Departments available are: Bakery, deli, food court, gas station, tire station, pharmacy, optical department, hearing aids, etc. Price - The cheapest Costco gas prices in this area, cheaper than El Cerrito and the 2 Hayward locations.
