I had pre-ordered a new Volvo model, and paid a $500 deposit back in early 2024. The order was…read moreacknowledged via email with the car cost, and an estimated lease payment of $523.98/ month. The car was finally delivered this week, and MAG provided a quote of $840 (15K miles) and $815 (12K) for the lease payment. The car price was ~42K. After some complaining the amount was reduced to ~730. That's a difference of $316.02 or $11,376 over the term of the lease! These inflated payments did not match in any way the calculators on the Volvo website, or Edmunds.com, and there was no real explanation for the increase, but I had been previously been assured that the agreed car cost would not be affected by tariffs. Understand there are taxes etc that were not included in the estimated payment, and the market for imported cars has been pretty much blown up, but this despicable behavior from a brand that calls itself premium. And BTW, this would have been the 4th car I have bought from MAG. Never again.

I have spent far more time with the BMW service team and they have all been outstanding. It starts with the personal service and honesty. They always describe exactly what they will and have done and do whatever it takes to complete the work properly. The work was under warranty for most of my time with MAG and I could not have been happier. Not that the service warranty has expired, the cost seems to be high but I learned my lesson by taking the car somewhere else. I went to another BMW expert on Riverside Drive to have a few things checked and the oil changed. I walked out with a $600+ bill and none of the work was completed to my satisfaction. I went to MAG to have the same work done and it was less expensive and completed properly. I recommend MAG BMW to anyone look for a great car shopping and after sales service experience.

I sent specifications for the i4 I wanted, using the Build Your Own feature on the BMW webpage, and relied on my sales consultant to find the car via dealer search. Among those specifications were all season tires. I understand the importance of this detail when buying a car in the winter in central Ohio. I took delivery of the car December 30th, 2024. Soon thereafter I was astonished to find the car was delivered with summer tires. These are utterly useless, and dangerous in winter in central Ohio and I've left the car parked since. I contacted the dealer on January 6th (Steve Johnson, Sales Manager and Chris Zane, Sales Consultant) proposing a no cost swap of these summer tires (with only 94 miles on them) for the BMW starred specified all seasons I had spec'd out, but they have not agreed. Rather, they have been slow to respond and indifferent to a situation where I have no use of the vehicle. They show no sense of urgency or commitment to resolving this satisfactorily.

Showed up the morning we agreed on and went for a test drive. Over all the truck was as advertised. A couple very minor things were quickly resolved. A turn signal issue was discovered during the test drive . After discussing a few options on how to fix it, Germain said they would fix it. This ended up being a bigger issue than I'm sure everyone anticipated, it ended up requiring me several additional trips into the dealership and involved rental cars on multiple occasions for the extended time the truck stayed in not only Germains service but also an additional Ram dealership. Finally after weeks of trial and error and several more weeks of waiting for parts, the issue was correctly repaired. I endured no additional cost for this just as agreed upon at the time of sale. Logan (Lo) in service was my contact during this process and i was kept informed during this entire process. I cant say enough about how i was treated and that Germain stood by the agreement to resolve the situation. The finishing touches were made by the finance manager, Zach - who made the last, super impression for me. The Toy Barn has high standards as anyone can see - the specialized inventory of high-quality vehicles they sell along with the excellent sales and management team proved to me that you can buy a car by shopping online without fear.
