Since the part I had was second-hand and had some incompatibilities with my car, the owner did some extra adjustments (no extra cost) to ensure that there wouldn't be any issues. He was really helpful and explained everything he did, and there was a small waiting area in the back with a TV, water, and coffee. Overall great experience.

That repair held up great. More recently, another fender bender and I was going through insurance and they recommended a different shop, but I didn't really agree or understand the other shop's guy, and I took it to Jim for a second opinion. Jim's estimate came in slightly lower but more importantly I felt like he was able to explain to me the different options clearly about either quitting the claim so it didn't get totaled or doing the salvage title or just getting the money and giving up the car. The car ended up getting totaled by insurance and we had Jim fix it to do a salvage retitle. Should have gone to Jim in the first place!

I have a single axle concession trailer, and one of our tires blew out, and of course we did not…read morehave a spare! I tried to call all of the well known tire places, and they were all closed and probably a good 30 minutes away. I found a tow company with a flat bed that could load us, and they suggested we go to Taylor Tire, which we did not even know was just 0.5 miles away!!! We abandoned our trailer in their parking lot with a note to call us in the morning and that we needed a new tire. I saw that they opened early, so I planned to arrive in the morning when they opened to see if they could even help us. When i arrived, the owner was putting the trailer back in the parking spot, he had completed the work himself before they even opened!! We ended up buying two new tires and having the current good tire put onto a new wheel for a spare. They have earned a lifelong customer!
