Great little bagel shop! Found this place while driving thru Traverse City and decided it would be the place to go for breakfast before leaving the city the next morning. Currently, due to Covid, they are only doing call ahead orders. However, I called from the parking lot on a busy Sunday and my order was ready in 5 minutes! Bagels are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The everything bagel was full of flavor and I had a Mexican coke to top it off! Good and tasty experience! read more

We grabbed breakfast on the go a couple of times while we were in town. It was really great. Good quality bagels and delicious cream cheese flavors (ramp, jalapeño and scallion). They also had a great sandwich selection including fantastic lox options. I would highly recommend. read more

There's a good reason these guys keep selling out! Great bagels topped by their great service and friendly staff! My wife and I stopped in this morning and tried their specials, one featuring lox and one ram jam full of fresh veggies. Both were incredible and had a wonderful brightness from some quick pickled red onions! I would have taken photos, but they didn't last long enough to get my phone out! Will most definitely be returning soon! My only complaint is that I don't have one of their bagels right now! read more

For inexplicable reasons Bubbies, which makes the best bagels in Michigan, if not the midwest, has, unlike most food establishments, stopped its long standing service ON WEEKENDS of letting buyers order online days ahead of time and picking up their order - the time most people would use, want and enjoy the service. Many happy customers, especially locals, benefitted from this quick, convenient option. Now Bubbie's prefers its weekend customers - mostly tourists and hapless boobs - to wait miserably on long, slow lines outside for up to half an hour while they make up orders, often large multi-bagel orders, piece by piece and shmear by shmear. This insufferable inconvenience means they've probably lost much more than my business. Even if they have a good rationale for doing this, I find it unforgiveable. Luckily, TC has many more good breakfast options. read more

Best bagels around by far! I recommend the salt sticks. Very nice staff and great service! One word of warning--- there are a lot of patrons unfamiliar with what exactly a bagel is--- can be a little maddening but it is worth the wait! A true TC gem! read more

My husband and I were in the Traverse City area celebrating his birthday- we decided to try Bubbies Bagels because we didn't want to wait anywhere... oh my goodness! These are the best bagels I have ever had! (that includes any NYC deli!) literally THE BEST! I had an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese! Fantastic! My husband got a breakfast sandwich on a salt stick roll- again outstanding! The staff is absolutely wonderful-they are friendly and efficient and ready to answer questions and offer suggestions! We ended up having our breakfast there 2 mornings in a row and will be back whenever we are in the area! read more

Coming from NJ I have high expectations for a bagel. This place meets my bagel desires!!!! We had the BLT and the nosh bagel sandwiches and were extremely happy. We were greeted by staff as soon as we entered the store. The store front also hosts a few local food crafters and specialty items. . Overall a cute store with friends staff and yummy bagels!!! Got the "Salt stick" bagel. It was delicious but SUPER salty & I like salty. So beware if you don't. I really didn't have a choice though - I went 30 mins before they closed and that was all they had left. A great bagel sandwich though! Probably what I would have ordered even if I had other options. read more

Great customer service. Punch cards available. Decent selection and the best cream cheese! Worth the price! For twenty-one dollars ( not including tip) you get thirteen fresh bagels! They let you split the order up too! My mother and I split an order hand the amazing staff is always gracious and helpful. I highly recommend the salt stick and sesame bagels. The cream cheese is expensive but worth the price. Always happy with this business ! read more

Amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches! I got the salmon one and my coworker got the bacon egg and cheese. I love that you can pick out what type of bagel you'd like them on. My coworker said the coffee was good. Overall, very friendly and great Covid precautions in place. I would eat here again when I'm in town. read more

Was in need of carb fix and wanted to try something other than Panera. WOW I got 6 sesame seed bagels with cream cheese and was blown away with taste. Family found the bag and that was all she wrote. AMAZING bagels!! My husband and I stumbled across Bubbies during our stay in Traverse City and ended up stopping here twice during the week! The bagels were very fresh and the staff was very friendly. Hope you like cream cheese - they lay it on THICK (seriously, so good). I personally liked the Black Pepper Parmesan bagel with scallion cream cheese. The coffee wasn't bad either. We will definitely be back on our next trip up North! read more

Went on a Sunday morning close to 11a. There was a line of folks waiting outside, but the folks behind the counter were friendly, fast and efficient. We both got the Nosh bagel sammie and it was phenomenal. The bagel was soft and chewy and we both commented on it being the best bagel sandwich we've tasted. Enjoy! read more
