Millie's is a great addition to Glen Arbor. The pizza is tasty, the ambiance is hip and modern, and the outside seating looks at the river. All in all, a nice spot for some pizza! We got the Il Porco pizza which had Italian sausage and sweet onion on it. We opted to get the Roman crust and it was very flavorful! The downside was it was a long wait to get our food. Like crazy long. We also did not know if we would be served our pizza or if we would have to pick it up inside- it was a bit confusing. We would definitely eat here again as the taste of the pizza and spot along the river was worth the long wait. read more

Came here for the gluten-free pizza and the outdoor seating. The GF pizza is 12 inches, which makes it a good average size. It tasted pretty good and the toppings were baked under the cheese. I ordered a water, which was about $3 and in a bottle - not what I expected, but I guess it is very fancy imported water from Italy. They also offered drinks like Olipop and kombucha which might be a little more worth the money. The girl taking our order didn't go out of her way to be friendly but it wasn't a bad experience or anything. I don't believe there was much of a wait before our order, but the pizza was predicted to take 20 minutes to make. The inside is pretty crowded but the picnic tables were cute to sit in. We ordered the thin crust pizza with sausage and mushrooms along with a cheesy bread. The thin crust definitely is made with a whole wheat flour as it was dense and very chewy. I would much prefer a thin crust to be made with "00" flour or something similar as this current thin crust is tough to eat. The cheesy bread which was Roman style was delicious however. So we would probably order again just not thin crust. read more

One of the worst pizzas we have ever had unfortunately. My partner and I went on a trip to this area, decided to get a pizza -we ordered the Millie on a thin crust (maybe they specialize in deep dish). It got cold fast, the flavor of the seasoning was overkill -tasted like a pound of pepper, and the crust as a whole was pretty bad from the flavor to the crunch. Absolutely do not order from here if you want to plan on receiving your food. Ordered a pizza at 6:20pm for my family and paid in full. The order pick-up time was listed on the receipt as 7:30pm. We arrived at 7:20pm to pick up the food and the business had closed. The hours are 12-8. We then stopped by The Mill (same owners) to ask what happened and the manager informed us they closed early because it was slow. Closed early because is was slow but did not fulfill orders paid for in full, made no attempt to contact the customers, or issue refunds. Stopped by Millie's after a weekend of hiking & camping and this was the perfect way to cap iff the weekend! Got a slice of pepperoni & the hot salumi foaccia sandwhich. Pepperoni was great, they cooked it so the little pepperonis started to cup and got crispy at the edges *chef's kiss* Salumi sandwhich was also a banger, focaccia texture was still a bit springy even though it was a pressed sandwhich but my favorite part was the pepperocinis! There is a small indoor eating area, just a standing counter/table near the windows, other than that it's all outdoor seating. I'm definitely coming back next time we're in the area! read more

You could improve the pizza and the service. We called around 6:45 and got an answering machine. Fortunately we live pretty close so my husband drove over there. The women taking the order was not very pleasant to deal with. In fact she mentioned they're just too busy to answer the phone. If the service and pizza remains the same the phone probably won't be ringing at all. My husband ordered at the place and made it clear that he wanted red sauce, which we feel is always part of a pizza even without asking. No red sauce at all and garlic was very heavy. Pretty solid pizza - great rise on the Roman-style crust, maybe a touch overdone but excellent flavor and crispiness.

We were told the pizza would be ready in an 60 min. However the mushroom pizza may take 10 min longer. We asked that they text us when put into the oven. Sure, no problem we were told. We came in 50 min later and the pizzas were sitting on top of the oven. The mushroom pizza was cold. NOT WARM, Cold! Very disappointed! Three pizzas over $70. Wow! Millie's! We attended the grand opening and WOW were we impressed. The entire experience was perfection. The kindness of the owners, the design of the building, and the quality of the food - all 10/10. The pizza is bought by the slice to build a box of 6 slices, all a thin style deep dish with the best crust we've had. We tried all flavors available and were not disappointed! The outside seating along the crystal river and back patio make for the perfect ambiance. For opening day we were served within 20 minutes and all pizza piping hot! We've tried it twice. Just not a fan of the pizza. The dough is too thick and the toppings/sauce could be better. Glen Arbor needs a good pizza place and Millie's misses the mark. In addition, selling pizza by the slice means some pieces come from different pies. This just doesn't make sense because each slice is different.
