Always a good time at Art's! My husband loved his whitefish sandwich (he said he may need to have another one before we leave town), and the cherry chicken salad is tasty. The tots with ranch are the best! I loved my grapefruit Northwoods soda with lime, and he had a Heineken 0.0 - grateful for good NA options. Our server was excellent, the food came out quickly, and we enjoyed our table outside. Great laid back atmosphere. We'll be back whenever we're in town!

Art's is an absolute institution & tradition in Glen Arbor. Food is pretty decent, we enjoyed the grilled whitefish sandwich & tater tots. Service was very friendly & prompt. Interior is very 'kitschy' casual & 'up north'. CASH ONLY. Either doesn't have AC, or it just doesn't work very well. Fun place.

Hands down one of my top 5 favorite burgers ever! Grilled to perfection. I added pepper jack with lettuce, onion, pickle and mayo. I devoured it. I also had a side of their scrumptious onion rings which are also a leader! Super busy and great vibes. The service was also a phenomenal, considering how busy they are. Love this gem.

Arts came recommended by a friend who said to try their chicken jalapeno soup (I think?). It was too hot for soup, but I started with the Smoked Trout dip. This was very good- creamy but not heavy. My Bloody Mary wasn't great, the mix had a very dull flavor to it. My Reuben was pretty standard. Husband wasn't impressed with the olive burger, he said he didn't taste much olive. Service was not the best. Not terrible or rude, just rather slow and not friendly. I'd probably try it again if I was in the area, because it's clearly a beloved spot. Maybe just an off day for us!

One of the only spots open in town later in the evening, Art's Tavern was super fun, and also delicious! Despite being on a wait and busy Sunday evening when I arrived, Art's whitefish sandwich was fantastic for dinner. Just make sure you bring cash, as it's cash only! But if you're looking for a fun spot to grab a pint and some grub in Glen Arbor, it's lively and a solid spot.

Sad, I've been going here at least once a year for the last 15 years. This time the man under the tent ( seating ppl) was beyond rude. Server was good! Food and drinks have gone downhill! The burgers were SO dry and the Bloody Mary was aw you

Art's offers a wonderful meal at a good price. Such a cute place in a prime location. The staff here is wonderful. They sat us on the patio with our dog. Such a great dog friendly place. We had the white fish sandwich and cheese curds. The fish was amazing as were the cheese curds. Highly recommend Art's!

Their chicken cheddar jalapeño soup is some of the best we've ever had! Great, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The grilled cheese went great with the soup and highly recommend both. Kristie is a local with a great personality

Don't show up at 8:00 for breakfast as the staff is not all on premises and they gruffly tell you to wait outside. Not a good look...

In these harder times, this restaurant needs more help. College kids were back in school. The tables were kind of greasy. Only two servers, who were very good, were exhausted. We were dining with a 2 year old, who was a little difficult and our kind waitress put in the order for the children right away. Their cheese pizza looked great. Nice call. Our orders came out not too long after, which makes me question, "How do you cook fish in less than 10 minutes, with a fresh vegetable? I ordered the wall eye with pesto and it came with zucchini. Everything was just all right. NOT a hot meal. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, the fish seemed like it was cooked an hour ago and the zucchini was soggy with oil. The ribs are their best to claim, and were good. However, they also seemed like just warmed up with the BBQ sauce because my son said they were cold and he should have sent them back. There is outside seating but mostly bar counter height chairs so we chose to eat indoors, which was very nice. IF the food was cooked to order, and the food was HOT, and the tables were cleaned properly, it would rate a 5! in my book. However, not this time. I eat here at least 4 times per year, so hopefully next time, it will be better! I pray they do not close this gem on M-22 in downtown Glen Arbor. See you next time!

With its elegant…read moresetting and abundant windows featuring Lake Michigan views, it makes for a memorable evening. The daily menu was crammed with the best local foods and in August when we visited that meant cherries, luscious vine ripened tomatoes, blueberries and more. In fact I hard a hard time narrowing down even the 4 salads as they all sounded fantastic as did the 10 appetizers. In the end we opted to share some things starting with the light crab "puffs" (really golf-ball-sized crab/rice cakes) which were delicious although a bit light on the accompanying sauce. Next we savored the small summer salad made with juicy dark purple tomatoes, fresh basil and slivers of mozzarella. Our entree was the pecan crusted white fish that was also nicely prepared. Note they add a somewhat outrageous charge for a split plate-around $16, so our fish ended up costing $66! For dessert we chose the turtle sundae festooned with crunchy toasted pecans and a house made caramel sauce. There's a nice wine list too. Service here was top notch with constantly filled water glasses and a very professional staff. I was really pleased and surprised to find a restaurant of this quality located in a tiny vacation hamlet. Highly recommended

While we love great food, we are not "foodies" who do well with super modern/unique takes on classics - and after perusing many menus of different restaurants in the area, we felt like Blu was the right mix of fancy but delicious and classic and we were not disappointed! Pro tip: book a reservation and look when sunset is - we did the 8pm seating with the sun setting around 9-9:30 and if was amazing. They have see through blinds, but raise them up for the sunset and many people walk out to go take a picture on the beach right outside! It's a small intimate restaurant, so in general booking a reservation is advised. The gnocchi was amazing and so flavorful with sun dried tomatoes and succulent shrimp. My spouse got the lamb and really enjoyed the garlic and sauce Robert- and was so happy that it wasn't traditional mint sauce with lamb. The scallops were extremely rich with the asparagus risotto. We did split a crème brûlée which was just okay (maybe a bit too eggy in the texture?) , but they do use real vanilla bean and overall we were stuffed at that point. They have an extensive wine list, cocktail list, and mocktail list which I appreciated as a lady on her baby moon trip :) best Shirley temple I've ever had with real homemade grenadine made from real cherries! Staff is attentive, kind, and always checking to make sure you're taken care of. Overall, yes it's pricey, but for the delicious food, view, overall fanciness - I think it's justified and worth it for a special occasion! We would love to come back in the future.

We ordered multiple burgers (olive burgers & bacon cheeseburger) plus sides (tots & rings) to go, the roads were bad and the rest of our family begged for carryout. That's fine - we each had a Bloody Mary while we waited! Delish. Jessica (general manager) who took our order and made our drinks, was great. This visit was interesting because the place smelled like overcooked onions, and the pancake wasn't very cooked. The food was served greasy, and had little-to-no seasoning. I didn't complain, as the server was clearly not in the mood to be bothered by customers. We had to ask for silverware, butter, and waited for more than 10 minutes for the check. There was only one other small table of 2 besides our table of 2. She and the other waitress were too busy on her phone to pay attention. The host ended up getting her to give us a check.
