This is the third time we've been here and I've meant to give a rating the two other times. This time we both haf the burgers and both thought it was absolutely the best burger we've ever had. I had the habanero burger which was the right amount of hotness and flavor. Have your napkin ready because even my wife's well done burger was juicy as well as flavorful. After a stressful day of Holiday shopping in which our bodies begged for rest and nutrition, we looked no further than to Bubba's to satisfy our hunger. Upon which we were greeted by the young and dapper, Ash (not the young trainer from Pallet Town that some of you may be thinking of). Next we had the privilege of getting to know our waitress Lyndzi as she beautifully explained what the Bubba sauce contained. We had never encountered a more hardworking, studious, and loving mom, who is dedicated and caring to not only for herself and her family, but also her customers of whom she serves. We were delighted to have met her. While waiting for our food, we couldn't help but notice the charming young man, Bryce, with magnificent, luscious, beautiful curly hair. As fate would have it, none other than Bryce himself, brought us our food that was prepared with the most cautious of hands. (They are so thoughtful about Covid!) To our surprise not only did Bryce have the ability to to take our breath away with his physical features, we soon discovered that the stunning young and friendly Bryce was a knowledgeable and humble man, willing to share his wisdom with all who were prepared to hear it. Given the question "what product do you use for your hair?", like the Hoover dam, Bryce unleashed his abundant facts and tips on proper maintenance of hair fit for the Gods themselves. (To who ever insulted him by calling it a perm, can eat dirt.) Toward the end of feasting down on a meal fit for kings and queens, our eyes were taken on the most clean backpack in existence. Who other than Ash himself would be the welder of such a powerful accessory. Much like Thor, a true welder is required for such a strong item. It should be blasphemy, to consider one without the other. Upon commenting on such a majestic man's clean backpack, we were once more surprised for such a humble reply. This striking but pleasant man proceeded to discuss the story of such a purchase while then complimenting on our style, ridding us of any insecurity we've ever had. And for anyone who wants to talk sleep on Bryce's curls or Ash's backpack, come see us. As we were departing, this wonderful social and fulfilling experience at Bubba's it would be wrong for us to omit the existence of Vanessa who did not omit the existence of our to-go box, sprinting like a champion crossing the finish line in an Olympic setting, she caught us at the door in such a timely manner to hand us our box. I've been to Bubba's two times the short time that I've lived in Amarillo. It's great for cocktails, dates, and wings. And the sports bar modern atmosphere is puts you in a good mood. Other than the wings the food hasn't really impressed me. The fried pickles were inedible but they did comp it for us so it wasn't such a big deal. And the pizza the first time I went was just alright. I would gladly go again and enjoy myself but just for the wings and cocktails. read more

My husband and I are moving from Hershey,pa to Phoenix. The arduous task of driving across country. We found this wonderful dog-friendly restaurant. Happened upon bubbas in Amarillo on a road trip, saw it had great ratings on yelp, so decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. After hearing a few good things about this place, I decided to try it with some family. The atmosphere is awesome just walking up to the restaurant. Music is play and they have corn hole boards set up outside for waiting guest to play. The wait was only tens minutes even though the parking lot was very full. Once we got seated out waitress was there very quickly to get our drink and appetizer order. I had a drink called The Horny Toad. Kind of fruity but packs a punch in alcohol. For the appetizer we got the Sweet Glazed bacon. It was thick hardy cuts of bacon glazed in Dr. Pepper. Cooked to a slight crisp on the edges. Best bacon EVER!! For my main meal I choose the Habanero Burger. I like heat with flavor and this burger delivered. The cheese was nicely melted to hold the peppers on top of the patty along with the lettuce and tomato. The buns were toasted and the patty em was cook medium rare. All together, one delicious burger with a kick. My uncle ordered the Fresh Veggie pizza 16inch. The pizza was nice and hot with fresh roasted veggies on top. The one stand out vegetable was the tomato on the pizza. Tasting an only tomato had the flavor of being smoked then placed on the pizza to cook again. These levels of flavor depth surprised me in so many ways. I would highly recommend this place to anyone trying to eat something different but familiar. Very busy at dinner hours on a Saturday, but our large group was seated within 25 minutes from our arrival. Service was promt, friendly and all of our orders were correct. The Sweet Glazed Bacon app was amazing. Fried Pickles and Bubbas sauce go perfect together. The beer selection is better than most chain restaurants, but as a craft beer fan, I would hope for more craft selections on tap. Overall, a tastey place to eat and drink. read more

Traveling thru to Wisconsin, we stopped in go a bit. Never heard of Bubbas 33 but let's try it. There was an issue with the appetizer we order but before we knew about it the manager Bri came by and explained the issue to us and then we had 3 appetizers on the table. I got to try them all and they were great,wish I could have finished them. Received our order and both plates looked great and tasted even better. Bri, Paige and Audra provided great service. We even got 2 free appetizers. My first impression of this place is they place the customers first as they are suppose too but these ladies went above and beyond. Phone ordered to pick uo. Tried the Nacho Mamas pizza which was different and sounded interesting. It was very good. Also tried the Sunshine Burger which was great with loaded fries. Went to pick it up and girl that assisted me gave the impression i was wasting or interrupted her time. She asked if I'd like ranch i said yes and acted like 'omg really' as she turned around to get it. While gone noticed there wasn't plastic silverware, as I'm at a hotel. When she got back i asked if there was any plastic silverware and you'd thought i asked her to remake everything, just wow. Aside from terrible attitude from her the food was great! The food was reasonably priced, delicious, and prompt. Wait staff was a little slow, but that is to be expected on a Saturday night, especially given their recent opening. We ordered from Bubba's online and had a pick-up time of 5:15pm. We arrived at 5:10 pm and at 6:45pm we still had not received our food and asked for them to cancel our order. Here we are a week later and our account was still charged for our order. Called Bubba's and was put on hold to speak to a manager. 40 MINUTES LATER I hang up the phone and call back. I get put on hold again and another 15 minutes goes by before the manager gets on the phone. We used to frequent Bubba's quite a bit before COVID-19 shut everything down but I am very disappointed in how they have run things since then. read more

The wait is long and the prices are high but how's the food? It's okay, and as far as okay food goes, there's a lot of it. Proportions are large but when your steak is marinated in espresso would you want more and more? I enjoyed the food and the service was good but there are so many local businesses that are better and could use the money. They would also be much cheaper for the same proportions. I.e. This was our first time at Bubba's and it was great!! Our server was very attentive and helpfully with the menu, she gave us a little back story on the restaurant which was cool! We ordered the onion rings which came highly recommend and met all of our expectations!! My husband ordered a burger and the bacon cheese fries, super yummy! I had the bacon avocado chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries, chicken was juicy and the sweet taters were on point. Finished up dinner with a visit to our table from the owner Nathan who said he had heard this was our first visit. He was so friendly and welcoming. We love the fact that in a busy restaurant the owner still takes the time to come by and say hi and make sure everything is good, you don't fine this many places. We have recently discovered Bubbas 33 and we like lots of different items on the menu. The seasoned salmon is really great, I've had it several times and it's always delicious. Burgers are good, fish and chips are delicious, salads are excellent and so is the lasagna. That is our new favorite place to eat dinner. read more

This is a nice place. They where out of a lot of food. They had a busy night and was running low. Also let them know about a food allergy that my hubby had. They did the best to make sure nothing would happen. The only think I personally would change is the wait time to put the order in. The 3 of us waited 30 minutes to put in a drink order. The food was not to bad. But by the time it got to my table it was cold. Even thou it was cold food, it was half way decent to eat. The buns have to much butter on the outside to hold it just right. But other than that. One of the best burgers I've ever had. read more
