Extremely loud. The music is so loud you feel like you're walking into a dance club to order food. Because the music is so loud, everyone is screaming to converse and you have to yell just to get your waitress to be able to hear you. I've only gotten to the appetizer so far but it is SO LOUD that I'm considering walking out just to retain some of my mental sanity. It's like some type of stimulus torture where they turn up the noise until you lose your mind. It is not a pleasant place to be. I recommending getting your order to go. Came here after church Saturday night with a group of 18, it was quit s wait. They are kid friendly as we had 8 little ones. I ordered the gluten free Hawaiian pizza, others ordered burgers and steaks. It was all great. You do have a wait for your food, so don't come if you're in a hurry. Stopped here on our travels through to New Mexico. Restaurant is a great place to watch a game or 2 or 3. Enjoyed margaritas and burgers. Food and drinks were great! Walked in to see at least 15 open tables only to be put on a 10 min wait. The manger sat us and said sorry for the wait, the kitchen is behind. With 3 hosts behind the host stand and the kitchen behind, seems like he could have been instrumental in helping the kitchen get out of the weeds. We ordered the queso and it was ok at best. The manager made sure to go by and ask tables how they were doing, but Michael made sure to keep it really short at our table. When we first walked in, the staff just looked at us and walked past... The hostess finally came around and she was so unhappy. No smile, no greeting...she just took us to a table. We were worried this would set the tone for a not so great meal. However, our server was nice and got our drinks, appetizer and daughters meal started right away. The fried pickles aren't anything special, but they're tasty; just like any fries pickles. My husband ordered a burger with a side salad and the side salad comes with potato straws that are delicious lol. They add the perfect crunch and salt to the salad. I ordered the bacon avocado chicken sandwich. It was good! The chicken was tender and juicy, and was hot! It was a big piece of chicken. It was really good!! We were pleasantly surprised. Popped in while out of state, recommended by someone who lives in Amarillo. Great sports bar atmosphere with deliciously amazing food!! I had the pizza--very flavorful, garlicky and great crust. My daughter had chicken and mashed potatoes--also delicious and flavorful. This place did not disappoint--well except we were there to watch the World Cup and unfortunately there was a Texas game on at the same time. Got to watch the cup with volume of Texas game. Bubba's 33 is next door to the Texas Roadhouse, their corporate parent. One of our corporate execs was in Amarillo, and he had just flown in from a Louisville, KY meeting with their execs. His choice of dinner venue was logical . . . it was also very good. If the rumors hold true, there are 33 flat-screen televisions, 33 menu items and undoubtedly the number "33" is represented elsewhere within the restaurant. The place was crowded on a Monday dinnertime visit, but the noise levels were moderate and not drowning-out conversation. Brightly lit, visually attractive, open, and comfortable (although the seats weren't), Bubba's 33 seems to attract guests of all ages, including many families. Their beer menu is long (another "33?"), and complimented by a solid service bar. On the food side of the ledger, expect burgers, pizza, and some fairly standard hot entrees. Our exec host is a big fan of their wings, and combined two baskets and a few beers as his dinner. He seemed very pleased with his selection, and the wing that I tasted certainly impressed me, as well. It was large, juicy and nicely coated with an assertive and well-made buffalo sauce. My colleague ordered a personal pizza, commenting that it was "good." My selection was a bacon cheeseburger, medium rare. The burger was definitely a notch above the typical sports bar fare, and was oversized and loaded with very flavorful bacon. Service was very hard to objectively gauge. From our first encounter with our server she understood the professional relationship between our respective companies, and was extremely attentive, friendly and fast. She apparently also tipped-off the general manager, and he was also very professional and cordial. The tables surrounding us seemed to be receiving a similar quality of service, although perhaps a few minutes slower. I don't eat burgers very often anymore, but the Bubba's 33 bacon cheeseburger was certainly one to remember-- and sample again as the chain expands geographically. We had a fun evening. read more

Sunday night and it was swamped but you wouldn't know it as we were seated and greeted immediately. Our waitress (I'm so bad at names) explained things really well and was on top of but not imposing all evening. Loved the music videos and blooper TV plus they turned on an Astros game for us (no sound but hey it's a burger joint). COVID19, Is keeping me in. I'm in town on business staying at hotel within walking distance. So I decided to see how they were operating during this pandemic. Parking lot was converted to drive up to-go spaces. The wait staff are runners for cars and orders placed online. I just walked up and was met by friendly staff. Placed my order and it came up in a normal amount of time. The food is pretty good. I ordered a few items. Even ordered 6 pack to go. I really like the inside of this place with a massive amounts of TV's to watch sports. This place would be great for football. No issues with slow service as some reviews have mentioned. Our service was great at 2PM on a Saturday, but I can tell this place gets really crowded at peak times, Pricing really fair $9.99 for a bacon cheeseburger and fries, Bacon is a big part of this menu and is ground in to some of the burgers. The food tasted really great but, about three hours later both my wife and I thought it sat really heavy on us. We did not over eat at all. Now some 17 hours later both of us are still tasting it. Maybe it's just too heavy for us or the bacon in the beef patty. Just not sure if I can recommend. read more

So we almost walked out of this place several times. We were sat immediately (party of 5) on a Sunday night. Bubba's was moderately busy. We waited 15-20 min to order our drinks and an appetizer (having to wave down a waitress), then finally saw our waitress 15 min later and we had to tell her again what we ordered. We then waited another 15+ freakin minutes until we got our drinks after waving down a different waiter (getting only our alcoholic drinks and no waters). A manager came over and apologized shortly after that, gave us a free appetizer, a $20 coupon, and waters. We thought, maybe this will turn around? That was a nice gesture. It didn't. We waited a long time for our meal and half of the our group's meals came out 10-15 min before the rest. So again we waved down our waitress (who was just standing and talking to other waiters for quite some time). She went to the back, then went back to her waiter friends. We AGAIN waved her down and she asked what orders we had left. She eventually returned with the remaining orders. Btw she never apologized or checked on us at any time. So the food was okay, everyone thought it was mediocre.. but the service was so horrible it was hard to overshadow that. And the alcoholic drinks were actually really good! I was seated quickly around 4 pm. Had my shrimp appetizer in minutes. The sauce I got on the side was tangy and good. Came with a bed of potato fried slivers? They were tasty. Hubby and I were traveling back home to CO. We were working in Frisco, TX for 3 weeks. We don't visit Bubbas in Colorado Springs much, to far from home. Our first visit since they opened. It wasn't as full as it had been. The waitress was very friendly and helpful in describing menu options. We all got burgers and fries. The fries are skinny fries, golden yellow and perfectly crisp but not so much as to be too crunchy. The burgers were big and perfectly delicious. Pretty juicy. I really enjoyed the flavor and the meal. Except: later the hamburger started having argument with me. While it did not taste greasy, apparently the fat content was too much for this family. The thing I definitely did NOT like was that there were wall to wall big screen tvs on every single wall and everyone showing a different channel. Great new restaurant chain. Owned by the same people as Texas Roadhouse, but I felt like the atmosphere was much better. Friendly people. Lots of TV's & two separate bars with a good amount of seating at this location. For dinner I had the bacon cheese fries appetizer & the Bubba's Bacon burger. Both were great. The fries are thinly cut so they don't seem quite as "heavy", but still had lots of cheese & bacon on them. The Bubbas burger was one of the better burgers I've had in awhile. Great flavor, good size burger and made to taste. I recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. read more

I would never normally leave a review, but our server Monica was so beyond outstanding that my wife and I both felt compelled to leave this. I am not sure I have ever seen a server as proactive and polite as she is, and that includes myself when I served.
