I'm not sure why I keep giving this place second, third, etc. chances. The food is good, but their to-go is really non existent. Here I am again... now 28 minutes past when my curbside App. order and no contact. I called to let them know I was here, like the sign asks-because their app/text communion system has never worked. I called and listened to the to go extension ring for 4 minutes before hanging up and contacting the main desk. They let me know they would send someone out "right away." That was 20 minutes ago. She took our order and quickly brought out our beverages. There were lots of tables so the volume was loud. It definitely felt like a sports bar. The appetizers came out hot. I had the Shotgun shrimp- it was sweetish with a hint of heat. My boyfriend had the Crooked fried cheese- they were hot and melty. Everything came put hot and we weren't disappointed For entrees had the Crunchy fried shrimp and fries. My boyfriend got shrimp - it was good I had the Kale, quinoa, arugula salad which I added salmon to it. It also had crumbled cheese, candied nuts and balsamic vinegarette!!! Onion rings were REALLY good, the batter was seasoned not your run of the mill onion ring. Their dipping sauces were tasty!!! I am a ketchup fan, didn't even reach for the bottle. Hubby - habanero burger with tater tots, big smile and no small talk, he was all over that burger. Bean Patty Burger- very good, flavorful and moist. We needed time to look at the menu seeing it has been awhile since we have cone back seeing out first experience really was not that memorable. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings which came out 10 seconds before our burgers. Not the waitresses fault but sure seemed like when she noticed our onion rings hadn't gotten to us that they held our burger because they were warm at best. Same for the fries. Burgers not much flavor and that goes for the oil soaked onion rings as well. This was a surprisingly good place to eat. Whilst driving through Amarillo my hubby wanted to watch the football game and we came here being it was a sports bar. It was weird that they played music instead of having the sound of the tv on but we couldn't complain as the service was so good. The staff were friendly and attentive and our food came out really fast and were huge portions. We ordered chicken wings to Stewart which were really good and shotgun shrimp which were also tasty. Then we ended up splitting the bacon avocado sandwich which had grilled chicken in a focaccia bun and came with a side of fries, like I said all huge portions it came out fresh and hot and tasted good. I use to really love Bubbas but since I was a frequentI know when service started going downhill. Ordering online is a joke! The staff is completely rude and not very tentative. It use to be 15 minutes then turned to 30 minutes then when we get there. They dont want to even help you resulting in us getting cold food. So recently go in after a few weeks of just not going and I order a margarita. $12 and they dont even salt the rim. I am just done with Bubbas! I wont be back. Go to SixCar its worth it! read more

Bubba's 33 - 3:00pm - Saturday 3.19.16 Wanting to try something new, so we headed to Bubba's. Dad got there around 3 and got us a booth after a short wait. We stood at the front a couple minutes as I tried to find out where my dad had been seated, and none of the people standing there greeted us. First thing, it's WAY loud if you plan on enjoying conversation with your dinner party. As a sports bar, the atmosphere is cool, tons of TVs and two huge bar areas. Our server was really nice and polite. She took good care of us even though she was a bit scattered as they were SO busy. Dad ordered the 16" pepperoni pizza. They charge $1.50 for extra pepperoni, but the pizza didn't seem to have any more than normal. I can definitely say that the cheese was plentiful and the crust had great flavor. I don't like pepperoni too much, myself, but I'm going to be trying some of their other pizzas in the future. I ordered the Chicken Nachos appetizer as my meal. My food didn't come out until several minutes after everyone else's. When my nachos did come out, I wasn't too excited. The chicken was sort of shredded and tossed on in chunks, not much for toppings, and the chips were almost all broken into bits as if I got the bottom of the bag. The salsa served with the dish was really tasty and fresh. Not a horrible dish, but I won't order it again, they have too many other wonderful-sounding things to try! Trav had the Shotgun Shrimp Po'boy. I snacked on some of his fries while I waited on my food, they're thin and seasoned, quite tasty. The shrimp is tender and very flavorful. He loved it. I don't care for shrimp most times, but I would order that shrimp for myself. My aunt ordered the bacon cheeseburger, she said it was very delicious, but for being cooked to medium well, it was on the rare side for her. I don't mind a little pink in my burger but some people can't handle it... So if you're squeamish about pink, order yours well done. My sister, who has food allergies, spoke with the waitress for several minutes about her dietary restrictions... She decided that there was a steak and salad that she could eat, provided that the salad didn't have any cheese and the dressing had no dairy. Even after their conversation, the salad still came out with cheese. Luckily there wasn't much cheese, so she just picked around it. She commented that the steak was tender and flavorful. Over all, the meal was enjoyable. They seem to have a few kinks to work out as far as service goes, but they're still pretty new, so I won't hold that against them at all. Why cant Bubba's 33 catch on like Starbucks? I need one at every corner! We came in from Dallas to visit Palo Duro Canyon and based off of the reviews and pictures of the food decided this place was a must try. I am so glad we did..we actually ended up coming for lunch and dinner it was that good. When we came in for lunch we were promptly greeted and seated. There is definitely a lot going on in the restaurant..multiple TVs and music going on at once, but it really just plays along with the fun atmosphere of the restaurant. Keke was our waitress and was excellent! She asked if it was our first time and when we told her yes she made sure to go over the entire menu with us even explaining that all of their food is made fresh to order and that just the ingredients are brought in everything from the crust to the ground hamburger meat is made in house. We started out with drinks (I recommend the strawberry lemonade..it is amazing!) and a full order of the onion rings. The onion rings are outstanding, they have this crispy batter that your just can't stop eating. Too good! For my meal I ordered the bacon cheese burger and added the jalapeño cream cheese puck (This is originally on the green Chile burger but i was able to add it to my bacon burger for .99). I've had a lot of burgers in my lifetime and this was probably my absolute favorite burger. The meat was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and flavorful. I would 100% order this again and again. When we came back for dinner we brought our family with us who ordered burgers, salads, and pizzas. Everyone loved it. Where do I find a petition to sign to bring a Bubbas 33 to Dallas?!
