Stopped in for lunch. Super friendly and sweet server, along with the other staff. It was nice even seeing them interact with the other customers because it was genuine. Food was great, the sliced turkey sandwich was cooked perfectly. Its a good alternative to Sonnys because it feels less commercial. I'm not sure what happened to this place because it used to be very good. My coworkers and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. The service was good, but the food was not. One member of our party got sick after eating. I ordered the brisket... it was extremely dry and my garlic toast was cold :( I don't think we will be going back... the salad bar looked good tho. Pretty good, especially for being in the middle of nowhere with little competition. Good stop after some diving or tubing nearby. Bbq chicken cooked perfectly, so juicy! Great brisket, pulled pork was fine. Crinkle cut fries fresh and delicious! (So worth me cheating on my no fried food diet). Steamed corn on cob really fresh and yummy. Mac & cheese very creamy, but flavor wise nothing special and I'd say noodles a little overcooked. Really yummy mustard potato salad. Lots of sauce codes, we liked the tractor grade, alabama slama and moonshine. Plus the ole yeller was a very delicious honey mustard. They only had a couple servers with a few big groups, but they were all really nice and helped eachother so we weren't waiting too long. Food came out fast. Hub got a pork sammich and fries, $17.99, was okay he said, but a bit dry so he loaded it with sauce. I got the Buffet for $12.99 so I can have a variety to try out. Big mistake! The iceberg lettuce was brown, so I picked around to get the better pieces, they did have a nice variety to put on my salad. I think it was potato salad, crunchy so not sure, hub said it was potatoes not cooked all the way, but I'm not sure. Tuna salad, not sure what it was either. Meatballs in chili sauce was cold, even under the heat lamp. They use the cheaper/smaller bbq ribs, they were dark, I was thinking it was rub on them, until, when I went to eat it, dry and quite over cooked. Upside, the banana pudding was amazing. I told the waitress about the food, she didn't care what I had to say. I told the Manager, she too didn't care, each thing I mentioned he made an excuse for. As for the Williston, Florida BubbaQues, they need to be shut down. The place looks old and worn. The menus are paper that are grubby, where is the pride of ownership?!? The end result, when the Manager got done making her excuses and halfhearted apology, she asked me what do I want her do, I at first said nothing and I left. Went outside and thought about how she handled my complaint, so I went back inside and told her I would like half of my money back from the Buffet, I did eat a few things, so that is fair. After about 20 minutes of her figuring out how to do this, she did give me the entire buffet money back, I tried to give her half back and she said no and she hopes this makes up for it. I appreciated the money back, but there is no way we will ever go back to the Williston's branch. All I kept thinking about is what does the kitchen look like if they have no pride in what we do see. If you do go here to eat, be sure to have a lot of money for a little bit of food and hope you get a good meal. Stay away from the buffet. read more

Stopped in for dinner here and found a "go to" spot for good BBQ. The ribs were meaty, tender and moist. The side salad was fresh and much more then I could eat. Jalapeño poppers were grilled and some of the best I've ever had. Great sauce selection, so something for everyone. read more

This place is a winner with the redecoration, a new paint job outside and a new salad bar. The selection is extensive and this is something Williston has needed. The salad bar has lots of veggies but it LCSO has prepared salads that Salad Master Debbie prepares. There is also a baked potato option with all the fixin's. The chili and Brunswick stew are really good. There were also mini chicken tacos, cheese sauce and chips. You can have this as a meal or a side with your barbecue order. My husband and I were traveling through Williston on our way home from camping. Stopped here and got takeout,because we had our dog with us. So glad we did. We got the St.Louis ribs and the were some of the best we have ever had. Fall of the bone tender,juicy and so flavorful,even without any sauce. The sides,Mac and cheese,barbecue beans and coleslaw were super delicious as well. We will always make this a stop whenever in the area. Highly recommend. read more

Stayed in this small town for a nearby Florida Gator Football game. There was a party of 12 of us for Breakfast. Waitress handled us all (6 being children) with ease. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was hot. We liked it so well we went for dinner and added 3 more to the crowd. No complaints, once again waitress handled us all wonderfully. This restaurant should not have 5 stars. Food was raw, flies all around our table, floors sticky, table dirty. Just gross. Stay Away! Lack of employees so waitress are stress. Our waitress was scared to show the cook the raw meat as he would yell at her. It was the 3 time this happened on her shift. Really pretty good place to dine. One of the best rib dinners I've ever had. Delicious fall off the bones ribs and great sauces. Not bad beer selections. Waiter quality is ok but not spectacular. We split a big rib dinner and enough for lunch the next day. I will return and try other items. I was impressed. Clean and fun. We are regular customers, and probably especially so since COVID-19 seclusion. Normally, we spend about $100 per weekend here, as we live in a small town and have a large family. Their food is almost always fantastic, and at the beginning of our take-out lives, they were completely on point with everything. The last 2 times we've ordered, however, we've gotten home without a meal, a side, something. This may not bother some, but it's a 30 minute, round-trip drive for us. Tonight, when placing my order, the person taking my order was busy giggling with someone in the background the entire phone call, so I had to repeat everything I ordered 3 different times (when she repeated it back the final time, she did list everything correctly). Even then, my husband got home without one of the kid's dinners, so he had to figure out how to keep his dinner warm while going back to pick up the missing dinner, and returning home to finally be able to get to eat himself. Don't know how much longer this restaurant will be on our weekend take-out rotation, which is unfortunate, because the food is pretty tasty. read more

I am not sure of the bad reviews I see on this place. We travel around the country a lot and my wife and I agree that this may be the best barbecue we have eaten. We stopped at the Williston location as we were passing through. We ordered different sandwich baskets so we could try a couple off the menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a baked potato and she had the beef brisket with a baked potato. It took around ten minutes to get the order out and we were both very pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality of the meat. I think there were around 7 different sauces that would likely suit just about anyone. The meat was absolutely great and needed nothing for a great flavor. The baked potatoes were also well cooked but not dried out. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful and pleasantly answered all our questions. Definitely a great place to stop!
